Best Western Grant Park Hotel  

The staff was the best I have been around in some time. Very friendly and helpful. Very surprised in a big city like Chicago.

Rooms were a little dated, but the beds are top notch.

Location.. to shed and the buddy guys legend. Great stay.

I liked everything.

Front desk personnel were very polite and accommodating. They held my luggage for the day after I checked out in the morning without question. The cleaning staff did a wonderful job cleaning my room and providing me with daily toiletries. I liked that there was a restaurant downstairs that did carryout.

Hallways often smelled like smoke, and large bags of garbage was palced in the hallways for extended periods of time. Would have liked more vending machine variety.

The hotel staff was extremely friendly and always willing to help me when I asked them to.

I liked almost everything at the Best Western Grant Park Hotel, but I believe it would be great if they could provide the guests with one more computer when they needed to access internet.

It was close to McCormack Place.

The room was freezing cold. We had the heat set on 90 all night long and still had to order up 2 extra blankets. The water pressure in the shower was terrible and the room was not very clean. You could see and entire foot under the door to the outside hallway and I felt very uncomfortable all night long. I will never stay in that hotel again.

Enjoyed being within walking distance to various attractions.

Staff - a little bossy, abrupt. Felt pushed around of desk girl. Appears busy and disinterested about providing good service. Reasonable cheap hotel, poor desk staff attitude

The Location and the prize. Some of the front desk people were also helpful.

The room was not clean and a little bir old/fashioned. My room was on 9th Floor, the wind exactly was blowing in my room and It was terribly cold even the heater was opened all day and night which heated only itself. I strongly suggest that you choose another floor and a proper heater. I asked to reception about that the lady said she will call someone to look at it but that someone never came during my stay. Moreover, the Internet was terribly slow, It makes you crazy during your stay.

I had a really good experience with Best Western Grant Park. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We arrived four hours early and had selected an incorrect bedroom type from Booking.com (1 queen bed instead of 2, but I'm not sure if that option was available on the website, I could have missed it), but the staff accommodated us immediately and in the 2 queen bed room, even giving us our choice of Chicago skyline or Grant Park views.

Microwave and fridge were in upgraded rooms-- they should be standard!

Close to mass transit and several museums. The adjoining restaurant, Mei's Kitchen, was excellent.

Hotel needs updating, it was clean, but looks a bit 'worn'. Also, cleaning staff starts cleaning before 7:30 A.M.--which is too early if you're on vacation.
