No water when we arrived, room very "jammed up".Did not realize hotel undergoing upgrade.Could barely fit valet truck on elevator. Lighting in bathroom too dim for "makeup,shaving..Air conditioner VERY loud.
Location great, staff great. They were very accomodating despite construction. Valet were helpful. Hot water in shower and good pressure.

No bad experience but the walls are somewhat thin and could hear other guests
It was a great place to stay for it's convenient location. There were both train stations and bus stps that were 2-5 mins away ! The staff was very friendly and helpful . The beds were comfortable after a long day .

Rooms are equiped with old carpet you would not love to walk bare foot. A/c is very loud but worked perfectly.
Direct Train line to Convention Center - only 2 stops. Warm water all day and Shower hat enough power to wash Long hairs. Next to the Hotel is a nice place for Breakfast (American and Continental Buffet). Free WiFi in Rooms and printing facilities in the Lobby.

It also was to have laundry facilities and it did not. There was no laundomat around the area.
Most of the staff was very helpful.

Breakfast was EXPENSIVE!!

I want to use a pool, but I couldn't.
It's really near by park or every sights and also workers are kind.

My only complaint was how thin the walls were. On our first night the people next to us got into an argument at 2:20 am and we could hear every word of the fight and conversation. It was horrible.
We came to town for the NFL draft and the location of the hotel was perfect for getting to Draft Town and was close to a lot of the places we wanted to go to.

We paid for a full day of valet parking and ended up only being parked for about 2 hours. Although the first staff member we talked to about this disregarded us, the second person apologized and gave us a refund for the parking! I really appreciated the kindness and great customer service she showed us. I am not from the area and am definitely not used to the expensive parking around Chicago!

The room wasn't cleaned properly. For the amount I paid for the stay I expected a lot more. No refrigerator or micowave in room, or in lobby. Room was really small, barley any room to walk around your belongings.
The staff was really bice

The gym and pool were out of order and the hotel is undergoing some renovations at the minute, so the front of desk is dated.
The staff were extremely friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.

Good hotel services. Got extra blanket in the middle of the night without waiting.

I can't think of a thing
Staff helped us with places to eat....other than at the rest, which was very good and very friendly....... very helpful
April 10, 2015
Our room was directly across from the ice machine...a little noisy at times. The train ran near the hotel so this location is not ideal for the light sleeper. The rooms were a little dated but they are in the process of renovating. Other than museums, nothing much in the area unless you take a cab, drive, or public transportation.
Our visit was geared towards the museums so this hotel was in the perfect location. Staff was very friendly, helpful, & knowledgeable of the area. Great price!

Restaurant was closed both time we went to go to eat, Pool was closed due to renovations, room was old, water stained in bathroom, no mini fridge as promised, wallpaper falling off walls.
April 6, 2015
Hotel was generally worn with age. Shower did not work well, bathroom door did not shut easily, rugs were dirty..
Great staff, nice bed new HD TV.
April 5, 2015
Only one wash cloth stocked in room-corrected after I called for couple more so the rest of us could shower. Coffee machine located in bathroom-still contained coffee pod and coffee in cafe from previous guest. Only one electrical plug in bathroom-so you can either blow dry your hair or have coffee. No exhaust fan in bathroom. We walked to breakfast around 8 and came back at 9:30-arriving to a housekeeper cleaning our room out before we had even showered or checked out. Out door pool-due to season:closed
Staff were nice. Location -easy to walk to where we were going

It's a bit shaby in places.
Helpful, friendly staff.

Currently under a much needed renovation.
Great location, comfortable and clean.
March 17, 2015
Loud in the hallways. Doors slamming shut all the time! very little insulation in doors so you here everything in the hallway.
Very close to all the major attractions and convenient to the Metra and CTA

People from the front desk
March 15, 2015
I didn't like that my room wasn't ready in time. It didn't have a fridge or a microwave. Also room service skipped me over.
I loved how the staff went to every length to help me
March 15, 2015
It was more than I was used to paying for a hotel, and given the area it was in I thought I was only paying for the location, but it was so much better than that. Everyone was friendly, it was clean, the room was big and they did everything they could to accommodate us on our vacation.
March 12, 2015
No parking area
March 7, 2015
The pillows were really poofy. So much that they went completely flat! Bring your own.
I loved the price and the staff helped us above and beyond. They even had coupons for food behind the desk! The bed was AMAZING.
March 5, 2015
The heating and cooling unit in the room was very loud. I had to unplug it to get some sleep. I didn't get my wake up call and the front desk person didn't seem to care at all that she hadn't done it. Booking.com say the hotel is a 10 minute walk from Dearborn station. I could find no such station and ended up walking for 30 minutes to try and find it. Turns out the hotel is literally around the corner from Roosevelt station on the Orange line which takes you right to Midway Airport.
The hotel was good value for money, the room was clean and comfortable.
