Location-walking distance to Soldier Field and Grant Park, Friendly staff. Good breakfast
very dated and worn, long wait at check in because rooms were not ready. No onsite bar or restaurant except for Breakfast
Very poor guest parking, long wait for room, empty vending machines on all floors, expected more for the price
staff were ok. location was great.
toilet was leaking , beds were not comfortable, did not get size bed I asked for, building looked old and outdated. house keepers didn't understand English too well. elevator only held 6 people
Front desk staff awesome. Really enjoyed working with Tiara and Pablo. The hotel needs a little upgrading to raise the star level but so close to Soldier Field and other attractions. Worth the stay
The elevator was very little 6 people occupancy We had a king size bedroom but it was very small
This hotel is in much need of an update - the decor etc is very dated and tired looking and in comparison to other Best Western Hotels I have stayed in, this was disappointing
Grant park (Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, Soldier Field) right across the street. Nearby restaurants. Right on bus line to Michigan Mile
rooms are big, clean and comfortable. ohhh of course location.its awesome.
no breakfast and there is not smoking room :)
Location. Walking distance within Shed Aquarium and museum. Not too far from Navy Pier.
Soda machine on several floors was out of several selections.
Location convenient to everything in Chicago. The staff was great. Beds were comfortable and clean. Air quality was good.
Had to park off-site. The pool was a bit dingy. The bathroom sink dripped.
Being able to take a walk to the park, and shop's was very nice!
I don't have any dislike!
The bathroom is to small, no refrigerator
We had a view of grant Park and the museums. On Wednesday evening we could see the navy pier fireworks. The staff was very helpful with advice about buses, sights for the kids, restaurant recommendations.
Location and reasonable rate.
Pool and outdoor patio was right beside the window. We could not open curtains without losing privacy.
The location is very convenient. the beds were very comfortable.
I felt it was very overpriced, and it was very noisy the whole night.
Location and comfortable beds. Nice size room. Great value.
Everything was good or better.
We had a great stay at the Best Western Grant Park. We attended a concert at Northerly Island and were able to walk from the Hotel,
location, friendly and helpful staff, valet parking at reasonable rate even when we left car there the following day. Everything was good.
Location was excellent. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to Soldier Field.
majority of staff were very knowledgeable and all were very responsive and friendly and the hotel room seemed well soundproofed and was very clean. Cafe attached to hotel was very good for breakfast and very reasonably priced. Parking facility was very well secured. Close to L station and transit stops
Main floor reception area needed updating -chairs were worn out and uncomfortable to sit in while waiting for cab, etc
The desk employees
I tried 5 floors before I was able to get a bottle of water from the machines. The carpets are old and musty.
The location was good for walking to local sites.
We used the paid parking for two nights over a weekend while we were there. In the 36 hours our car was parked in their ramp, rats chewed the wiring in our car and rendered it un-drivable back to Minneapolis. We had to find an open shop on a Sunday to get repairs done.
pool is not heated
Good location, comfortable bed. Wifi worked.
Sulky staff, minimal facilities, dirty swimming pool, generally very tired and in need of a refurbishment.
The free wi-fi line.
The fair cleanliness and comfort and the huge noise (from the street and side room).. The price-to-service ratio is one of the worst I paid for.
It was in walking distance to Soldier Field, since that was our primary reason for picking this hotel. The computer in the Lobby was for our usage to print our airline tickets, free WIFI, sheets looked clean and towels. The maids didn't bother us with our DO NOT DISTURB sign, which was nice. The Lobby staff was very nice and accommodating.
The pool was outdated, scary due to old. The hallway carpet needed to be replaced, hallways needed painting.
