The staff were excellent! Air conditioner was too noisey to have on during the night. Noise and proximity to the road. |

The 101 Coffee Shop is always enjoyable. The service and food are quite good given how crowded it often is. It is open late and can be noisy if you are on the side of the hotel where the 101 is located. Parking for this hotel is abominable. On the Saturday night I last stayed there after driving around the neighborhood to find someplace to park, I had to be very disagreeable with the night staff. After some heated exchange, they found me parking on the premises. If I pay for a room, I expect a parking place and not an argument. |

The location is excellent for visiting the tourist attractions in Hollywood, especially close to Universal Studios. Free parking a real bonus for the location. |

Room was large, clean and included a kitchenette annexe with fridge, sink and coffee maker. The 101 cafe on the side of the hotel was for 20 hours a day for drinks, snacks andmeals. Bathroom was large with "wet room" type shower area. No problems. Room opened to the rear of the property so not affected by any road noise |

The hotel was close to the points of interest we visited in Hollywood. The 101 Diner on the premises was very convenient, the food was good and very reasonably priced. The room we had was recently remodeled, the bathroom had granite tops, two sinks, lots of counter space and lights. The room was very spacious. When we arrived the refrigerator was not working and within the hour it was... There was a new flat-screen TV mounted on the wall, but only a few stations came in clear. We complained and were told that they were having problems with the reception and were working on the problem. |

It's close to the heart of Hollywood, which I could go to those main visitors' site within a short time, this would be great for non-drivers like me to visit a country which there are not much public transport available. My room was located right next to the main road, even though I have mentioned in my booking that I would like to have one located far from the main road, despite of the fact that I made a pretty advanced booking, I still could not get what I need, so I wonder if the staff there really read those descriptive stuff that we put on the booking form. |

There is a 18 hour/day restaurant on the ground floor, and we could walk to the subway to catch a train to Universal studios. |

The renovated rooms are exceptionally large and very nicely appointed. Just down the street there are about 5 restaurants - all excellent and very packed all the time... the Hotel restaurant is also very good. |

The room with double queen size beds was spacy anf the bathroom as well. The area where the hotel located was quite noisy from traffic and the area in general not so nice with no green area nearby. The hotel in general was a bit dirty for a family with three small kids. |

The hotel was "Hollywood" themed and appeared to have been recently fully refurbed, so our room was clean and new-feeling, with free internet. Parking was free too. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The "101" diner was excellent. The staff were super friendly, the food was excellent and well priced, plus there was even a juke box with something for everyone. We really didn't like the hotel's location. It's only a few blocks from the seediest part of seedy Hollywood. We didn't feel safe walking around at night, as it appears to be out on a limb apart from easy access to the 101 freeway. Plus, even though our room was "new", the walls were paper-thin and we could hear everything from the next room, especially at 3am! |
