Best Western PLUS Hollywood Hills    

Great hotel, excellent value, nice rooms with 4 star bedding, so soft! Great diner, fun pool area and super fast valet parking. Loved this hotel! The only negative is some highway noise from our room, but everything else was fantastic. Best value in town!

Location: walking distance to the Walk of Fame and all tours. Bathroom: huge and clean. Café/Restaurant downstairs: great food, great staff and great price. Room: clean, comfortable, loved the movie stars theme.

Location is the best. One block away from Hollywood Boulevard, which is the most touristic area of LA. The tours are well arranged and start from nearby. The staff was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. Cost is also reasonable. Shops, grocery store etc. are nearby. Indian and other restaurants also nearby. Rooms are clean and they change linen and towels daily. They clean the room daily too. But facilities are a little poor considering its an apart-hotel. No cutlery or crockery, No washing machine or dryer. No cooking utensils. Only a micro wave. No other cooking facility. The room we were given was very small but the staff changed it to a bigger room which was decent sized but still small.

Excellent location, friendly staff, comfortable room. Loved the décor! We were in town for my son's wedding & were in and out of the hotel frequently. The friendly valet staff always had our car available. The first morning we asked for extra coffee & the housekeeping staff had extra for us every morning.

The one downside was not with the hotel, but with the diner that's attached & billed as a plus. We had been told by locals that it was a great place. Our experience was not great. Service was poor & food was typical chain diner.

Loved the large room with a small kitchen area. It was quiet and the laundry facilities were very much appreciated. The valet service was quick and very polite.

I liked everything about this hotel. It was super clean our room was fully refurbished with big beautiful granite bathroom. Beds were super comfy. I actually saw staff cleaning the iron railings around the pool & also stair banisters! The front desk staff were friendly, courteous & helpful. One of the big pluses of this hotel is the location, you can walk everywhere! Also the 101 Cafe is conveniently accessible through the hotel. They are open til 3 a.m. I was told by one of the front desk staff that 101 Cafe is a great place for a celebrity sighting. Low & behold, while having breakfast there I see two actors from one of my favorite SHO time programs. Yes, this is really a great place to stay while in Hollywood!!

The room is huge and comfortable. If you want to go to the Walk of Fame you just need to walk 10min the problem is the the people till you get there... We order some books and clothes in the internet and sent to the hotel and when we arrive they gave us all the packages.

You need to pay a lot to park the car (15$) and the street next to the hotel you can park free and now one told us. The hotel is 5min driving to Burbank (Warner brothers studios, Jay leno, Universal). You need to have a car in L.A. it is impossible to get around by foot, train or bus.

The walls seemed very thin, we were woken several times by people carrying conversations in the room next door.

The location near Sunset/Hollywood Blvd. And the 101 fwy...The Mid- Century decor...The cool coffee shop on the premises frequented by locals...Clean rooms, comfortable beds, refridgerator and microwave...Very friendly and accomodating front desk staff and management (especially Brian, the gm)

Having to tip the Valet Parking staff every time we parked. I understand that non- hotel guests going to 101 Coffee Shop should pay but not guests.

101 Cafe is convenient, however their staff could use a little training in customer service...we realize the cafe is not affiliated with the hotel, but it is mentioned on line with the hotel so just thought we would make that comment.

The staff were absolutely amazing! Including allowing us to checkin exceptionally early after a very long flight! The room was well appointed and clean! The facilities were great and all conveniently located. It's a great location to Hollywood bvd only a $5 cab ride. We stayed as part of our honeymoon and the staff could not have been more helpful and pleasant to deal with! Cafe101 is attached and provides affordable and good quality food! We would most defiantly stay again!

there are more disadvantages than advantages. Location and a nice staff are the only reason to stay in this hotel There is a good supermarket some four blocks from the hotel

too weary, needs renovation, the 101 cafe which is advertised so much turned to be just another like petrol station cafe and the price is too high, look for better deals in the area
