Out od several hotels I have stayed in on 28th street over the last five years this was the absolute BEST. Very Clean and Friendly staff.... True of all hotels now, I would like smoking accomidations....

Updated furnishings, comfortable bed, good location and price. The staff would not realize this unless they showered with the curtain fully open and I forgot to say anything but the inside of the shower curtain had a small few very light reddish pink areas...possibly mold or who knows what. We stayed at 28th st in Grand Rapids mi room 154... The curtain needs cleaning or replacing. The room was very nice and updated other than the tiles in the bathtub area which showed age. Breakfast was great...loved where it was located. Only negative was the processed eggs...not as good as fresh cracked eggs. These were flavorless and milled texture. The waffles that you made yourself were the best!!
