There is near the biggest outlet in Texas.
The room door was stuck and very difficult to open. You actually had to ram against it to enter room. I can't imagine an elderly person trying to get in.
The room was fairly spacious and appeared to be updated recently. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was adequate (hot and cold items).
No elevator, no safe in the room, no shower cap, staff seemed disinterested when the knives (for breakfast) needed to be replenished - she just said they didn't have any when later they were replensihed. As a female traveling solo, I didn't like being in a room with an exterior entry.
We stayed here before. Its a nice hotel it fits our needs while visiting the area. The beds are so comfortable, rooms are clean, breakfast is good. The bathrooms have been updated..There is also a nice enclosed pool area. We would recommend a stay at Best Western.
The one and only complaint would be the lighting over the bathroom vanity. Needs to be alittle brighter..
The hotel was fairly good. The location was perfect for what we needed.
The bathtub drain was very slow. the carpet needed to be cleaned.
Dawn was very helpful; great customer service! Clean and comfortable room!
People hanging out in their cars outside windows, employees smoking in hall outside by ice, need two trashcans in room instead of just one and need two tissue boxes instead of just one.
Everything was clean, neat and comfortable. We loved how comfortable the bed was. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.
The lighting was vey dim. For a woman to try and put herself together in the morning was difficult because the lighting is not bright enough. The WiFi could be better. Understand that when there are several people using it is slow but the service was low at all times.
Breakfast seemed unorganized. Ran out of food and had to wait while they made some more. Area around breakfast was dirty. Staff (Becky) was rude, very argumentative.
The staff was very friendly.
My only complaints were the pool was small and the room had gnats and mosquitos.
Updated rooms were nice. Didn't realize when booking access to room was from parking lot. Pool was old and dirty. Staff was nice and breakfast was OK.
Access to room from parking lot and dirty pool.
Air conditioner difficult to set
Location, beds were great, sheets, towels were clean, food was great.
Rates, roaches in room, room smell like spilled alcohol.
The room was clean and the breakfast was very good.
The noise from the highway was the only drawback and it wasn't that bad.
This is a fairly new hotel, room is very clean and comfortable, very quiet and no freeway noises, property surrounding is clean too. Staffs are so friendly, breakfast is plenty to eat and waffles are great. Rate is fair and not very expensive. We chose this hotel because it locates by the freeway I-35, it links with Hilton Garden Inn property and we felt safe at night without troubles from apartment complex nearby whatsoever. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
The only thing that we don't like are the walk ways on both down stair and upstair between the 2 buildings are not very clean, coke can poured on the floor next to the trash can and cigarette butts are everywhere. Pool had some bugs in it.
Easy access to highway and multiple attractions.
Dirty sheets, drain in tub did not work, hair in tub from previous guest, food left in fridge, and beetles in room. Beds and pillows were uncomfortable. Best Western execs need to stay here, great location but major improvements need to be made. I will not stay here again.
Hotel staff was very accommodating to our needs an request.
Room sinks and counters need to be wiped down better. We had lots of hair on our sink from previous guests.
good location, clean room
pillows were awful and made it hard to sleep
Close to the highway but could not hear any traffic noise at all. So many places to eat and drink only minutes away. Great location for visiting New Braunfels.
Dawn, who checked us in, was outstanding. There were some issues with our reservation. Despite the late hour when we arrived, she had everything fixed for us in no time. She was personable and professional. Best Western is lucky to have her.
continental breakfast. Had to wait too long for food, waffle mix machine not working properly, quality of food unsuitable. Did not feel safe in room with outside door being two females traveling.
Key didn't work twice.
Staff was nice. Good free continental breakfast. Location is close to great Mexican food restaurant, Los Cucos and local attractions, like Gruene. Nicely updated room and front lobby decor.
Found a few hairs under bed pillows the first day there. One bath towel had a suspicious red stain on it. Wi-Fi reception was not good for I- pod. Outside rooms with stairs only--wish I had known this before since I have arthritis.
