Best Western Inn & Suites - Midway Airport    

The staff really did everything to make our stay exactly what we wanted. When I had trouble getting on the internet, they immediately gave me a cable. When we locked ourselves out of the room, they gave us new cards on the spot. When I needed directions, I got courteous, helpful directions and a map!

I did not like how the receptionist was not in some sort of uniform, (she had on stretch pants with a coat the entire time I was there) she seem to either be tired or just had a nasty attitude because we had complaints about an upstairs window being open in the hallway. Also our room seem to have a strong cigarette but musty smell. She told us it was the carpet and gave us a spray to spray the carpet with. We asked for a rollaway bed for our room and she brought it to our floor and left it in the middle of the hallway near the elevator. It was a horrible experience.

Room was nice and clean and enjoyed the pool.

After a certain time night (11:00pm) the hall became noisy with running through the corridor and stairway, along with marajuana smell through the corridor as well. Loud noises from the parking lot. At that point I was no longer comfortable with my surroundings at this location so I checked out 11 hours early. In speaking with the front desk clerk, and expressing my dissappointment (which the clerk was very understanding and customer friendly) he stated the he too has in the past expressed security concerns to management for this location. (8200 s Cicero) Burbank, il. If this is the type of clientele this location caters to then I strongly suggest that Best Western invest in hiring security for this location. It appeared to be the place where the young (under 30) crowd hangs out, and they were out of control. I thought I had found an additional Hotel to come to and Relax and get away. I was very disappointed in the outcome. Please forward this to the proper personnel, for review and consideration. Thank You!

Location near Midway airport

Need for taxi to Midway, rather than a shuttle service.

Staff is very kind and market is located near site from here.

Midway is sor far from here by walking.

Location and price

Nice big room with frig and microwave plus free breakfast. Wish we had remembered to bring a bathing suit to use the hot tub but didn't think we would need a bathing suit in Chicago in December! We hadn't planned to get a hotel but family was too far from the airport to commute in the morning for our flight. We were very happy with this hotel, plus FREE parking close to the airport. We would stay again.

There was a very bright light on the side of the building right outside our room which bugged me during the night. Everything else was great.

Cheap, and easy to get in and out

There was a major screw up between booking.com and the hotel - resulting in multiple phone calls over the course of 2.5 hours, preventing me from going to sleep and forcing me to make multiple calls to my credit card company.

The first night the road noise was unbearable. I did not sleep a wink. Even though they gave me a different room the next night my stay was horrible. I had to call the front desk four times to get them to address the party that ran to 4AM. on Friday On the last night of my stay as I was preparing to check out the power went out for an hour and a half. I will never stay at a Best Western again!

i stay at bestwestern at 8220ciciro the stay was wonderful i always stay at this one . everytime i visit chicago i stay right there.. they are so help, and pleasent.

The room was just ok. I didn't like the fact that everytime I went downstairs I saw the exit doors leading out to the front of the building and the rear of the building Propt open with towels and rocks. I went to the front desk and told the girl working That day about it and she said Oh, some of the guest go out to smoke And do that to keep the door from locking. From locking? It has a slide for your Key to open it. What I guess is that some of the guests Propt it open for their priv encounters.

The location in relation to the airport.

When I arrived the desk attendant was speaking with someone, looked like a friend, in Spanish and I waited for approximately 5 minutes before being acknowledged. Once I was acknowledged I got checked in pretty quick. As a frequent traveler I could see some of the amenities but none were mentioned by desk attendant, not even of the breakfast. Due to the location ofthe hotel and overwhelming majority of Hispanics, I did not feel comfortable leaving my room that night. I ordered some food to be delivered and quickly checked out the next morning. That is probably the last time I will stay in a Best Western. Thank you.

It has free WIFII very very roomy. Love the location everything was right there when I needed. Felt very secured with the camera survalience. Staff was friendly and room were very clean

the room smelled musty/moldy. there was garbage overflowing in the hall way garbage can every day and the key card deactivated every night.

I have stayed at many Park & Stay locations and I was very surprised to find that there was no shuttle to the airport. If I had known, I would not have stayed at this location. It cost us an additional $35.00 for taxi service.

Excelente realcion precio-calidad. Las habitaciones en muy buen estado y el servicio en general muy bueno.

que no tengan un shuttle o transporte al aeropuerto o a la estacion de Midway. La ruta de bus (page 383 y 385) no es nada agil como los sericios de CTA que desafortunadamente no cubren esa ruta y hace que sea complicado el traslado al hotel.
