Staff were accommodating
They advertise a free shuttle service but it runs only once an hour which was very inconvenient and I almost missed my flight because of it.
The frequency of the shuttle service and the fact no shuttle is waiting for passengers at the pick up point

when we got into bed we all started itching - we couldn't sleep it was so bad. My mom stayed next door. Her bath plug did not work. They did attend to it quickly but couldn't fix it.
Shuttle free to the airport
In all everything was very good. Me and my husband stayed overnight in the hotel just to be close to airport to fly next day. The location is good as you don't have to pay much for the taxi from JFK airport ($9.00-$15.00 without tip), the room and bathroom cleanliness is very satisfactory (soft and shiny). There is also a coffee making machine in the room for free, which I liked a lot. A shuttle bus leaves each hour, so you can get to airport that way too.
The one and only thing that would need an improvement is the meal. We had breakfast which suggested too limited variety of food.
I booked a night here for myself and my 4 year old after a long day's worth of travel. The airport shuttle picked us up and help me with my bags. It was door to door service. The staff was so helpful and kind. They even handed me a few menus of restaurants that deliver, as it was just around dinner time. The room was clean and smelled nice. The bathroom was clean and they had good brand name toiletries. The following morning they had a lovely and nicely stocked continental breakfast. I very much enjoyed my stay.
Perhaps they could have more luggage carts, as I had to wait almost an hour for one upon checking out.
Staff was helpful
Wasted too much time outside in the cold waiting for a shuttle. Hotel operator could only give a stock answer as to when the bus would arrive. The shuttle to the airport only leaves once an hour. Expected higher standard. The room was fine, but tired. Better off, cheaper and faster to stay somewhere further from the airport and take a taxi. Poor value for money.
We had stayed here the previous week and were very displeased with the staff. This time the manager went out of her way to welcome us and most of the reception staff were very warm and helpful. Very convenient location to airport and reliable shuttles.

After arriving at 2 in the morning to the Federal Circle, I COULD NOT GET IN TOUCH WITH HOTEL to be picked up because no one answered the phone at the hotel. I came from abroad so I couldn't use my cell. If it hadn't be for a nice passenger that allowed me to use her cell to call a taxi, I would still be there scared and alone. TERRIBLE IMPRESSION!!!
Location and proximity to the airport were great. Shuttle service back and forth were courteous and prompt.
Front desk staff were inattentive and in some cases, downright rude. We never received a wake up call as requested, we called asking if it would be possible to check in one hour early and were told "it is first come first served so you can take your chances" and refused to check to see if we could do it (at the time we were driving in to the city and saw we would be arriving at 2 instead of 3 pm), the early am desk reception had to be asked if we could have some pick up breakfast (it was 4:30 am and there was a roomful of people waiting for the airport shuttle and breakfast didn't start officially until 5 am). He agreed and brought a plate of muffins fruit etc but why wasn't it offered? So overall a decent place to stop over on the way to a flight but staff does it care much about folks coming through.
There was no coffee in the room each morning of my stay. I had to get dress and go from the 4th floor to the 2nd floor just for coffee....
No restaurant/snack facility. Brought in food not very good and no facility to eat this in the room
Staff said they reserved a spot for my car to be parked while gone on two week vacation overseas and she gave me my paid receipt. When I brought it and my car to air park next door they said a reservation was never made in my name and they were completely full ! So I was left with no place to park my car the morning I was to get to our flight. Staff gave me a hand written note to put on my dashboard and left car in best western parking lot so it wouldn't be towed. I am now in London and hopefully my car will be where I left it when I return in the same shape I left it. Not happy. Hoping to get partial refund gor this
The most comfortable hotel bed ever. Easy transport links - even managed journey back from Times square on Metro.
Was not comfortable with the pillows! Other than that I enjoyed my stay.
Everything was as advertised. The shuttle service was prompt. The gentleman at the desk was professional and courteous. The room was clean (a bit tight). And the breakfast was decent. For a place to stay near the airport, it's a very good value
