Staff is very friendly and accommodating. My husband and I were given a 1st floor suite, but we switched rooms twice by choice and ended up on the 4th floor. The staff had absolutely no problem with all the switching and remained completely professional.
Rooms are cleans and beds are very comfortable.
There is a Starbucks available within the building.
The hotel itself is very beautiful, both from the outside and inside.
Free breakfast, can't argue with that.
The balconies look out to the neighboring hotels and not the ocean and the neighboring hotels are very close. Too close for our comfort. For us, the closeness to the next building was more inconvenient than the lack of view. Also, the lights on the balconies don't turn off, so if you're out there at night, there isn't much privacy and there's nothing you can do about it.
There was a wedding party taking up the floor where we stayed and they were NOISY in the morning when they were leaving. Not sure if it was due to the noise they were making, the walls being too thin or a combination of the two. We could also hear the vacuums as the staff cleaned the neighboring rooms. We tend to be late sleepers, especially on vacation. Other than that, it was fairly quiet.
Although the wi-fi is free, my husband and I had a lot of trouble connecting. Not sure if it was because of a problem with the wi-fi or if it was something we were doing wrong.
We stayed in December and it was chilly outside. It didn't help that the HVAC system wouldn't heat the room, no matter how high we turned it up. Overall it wasn't terribly inconvenient, but it would have been much more comfortable.
