The reception staff was welcoming and informative about the city. The access was good to the Convention Centre The Restaurant very eye- catching design. The decor needs some improvement. There is an exposed with ducts and pipes ceiling in clear view from the lobby, I do not know if this is intentional this is not good it gives the impression that things are falling apart. Also the fact that the sheets are crumpled on booking in and on every return after cleaning does not give one the impression that the sheets are clean. A little pressing with a steamer would give the bed a finished look. All the upholstery and linen need to be replaced.

Big room, nice shower head, located very close to light rail, good price (you get a lot of room for your money), nice breakfast, small kitchen in room with fridge (very handy). Although due for renovation, the hotel does look a bit run down at the moment. Toilet was blocked on arrival, so I was given a plunger to unblock it myself - found that a little weird.

The hotel was great, centrally located to the laces that I needed to go. The staff was wonderful, very polite! My only request for change would be an upgrade in the quality of the beds. They were not as comfortable as many of the places that I stay. Otherwise, great job!

Location, price, proximity to light rail and dining, coffee/tea in lobby. Noise from adjacent room. Average breakfast. Shabby overall appearance.

The staff was awesome! Front desk agent as well as the maids. The cafe could've been open though and the breakfast selection also could've been better. Location was great, close to down town, but not in the mist of all the chaos. Breakfast options...no restaurant.

We stayed at the Lexington for New Years Eve. The hotel requires some renovations but overall its not a bad place. The room was clean, the staff were pleasant, the cost was reasonable.

The room was large, clean and adaquate for my stay. It now has a restaurant and bar which it did not have previously. It was totally reasonable. I will stay there from now on when I come to Phoenix twice a year. Not just the Lexington but everything closes so early in Phoenix! Not like LA where everything closes at 2:00 a.m. 11:00 p.m. on a Saturday night is just ridiculous.....

Pros: location - within walking distance to restaurants, the art museum, large park and the metro! Close to the freeway too! Excellent customer service from employees -- Cons: Fall 2011 they appear to be in renovations. Exercise facility was closed, hotel restaurant was in "transition".

The hotel is right next to the light rail station. The carpet was disgusting. I have a 10 month old that I didn't want to let crawl around. It took 2 baby wipes to clean his tiny legs after 5 minutes of crawling. Shower water came out yellow and staff never came to check it out, even after repeated calls.

I was there on my 22nd anniversity. The check-in clerk took not of that and gave me a top floor room with balcony (9th floor) with a southern view of downtown Phoenix. Was a nice view at night of the city lights. I apreacheated the acknowledgement.

Nothing, the air conditioning in the hotel was not working properly, and that was in June when the temperature outside was 112 -115 F. It was not just our rooms but the entire hotel system was not up to snuff. Also the staff were reasonably courteous, but very few. They could not locate light bulbs on a Sunday evening. As stated above very little was to like.

Metro Rail is right across the street - very convenient to get to downtown Phoenix. Air conditioner fan had to be set on "high" the whole time we were there to keep the room cool, sort of loud.

Close to downtown I took 50 mins to get checked into double bed when I booked a King room. Beds were very uncomfortable. Front desk person was nice, too nice, he helped everyone out and answered phones while I was still waiting for them to fnd my reservation and find me a room to stay in.
