Really beautiful location by the harbour and the old building is also very nice.

There is a constant sound / noise in the hotel probably from the shops below. It is like an AC humming. Not so nice. Also the rooms are having individual AC, which is noisy if turned on during night time.

The style of the building. The rooms, the service, the swimming pool, the proximity to shops etc,

It's only one level and there is no elevator so be careful if you have a heavy bag.

Cozy room and location; helpful friendly staff; very nice patio deck to relax on; easy access to harber and shopping and July 4 action. Maids were very good!

tough stairs and noisy fan in room 30; quick air conditioning was very helpful.

The location was great and the staff very fiendly

The hotel keeps its exterior balcony lights on which can hinder ones sleep.

Great value for your money! There is nothing fancy about it, but if you just need a place to put your head at the end of a long day of sight seeing; this is the perfect location.

Perfect location if you want to view the action in Lahaina from your room. The bar/restaurant is very convenient and serves a good breakfast.

The location is wonderful, on the waterfront, in walking distance of tons of Lahaina shopping and great Restaraunts. Room was clean, bed comfortable.

Room is a bit tight for space, but to be expected because of the historical background of the building, which was one of the drawing points when searching for a place to stay. Staff wasn't the friendliest.

Location is really great (nearby lots of restaurants, shopping, located just in the harbor and whale watching cruises leave just in front of the hotel, US world's largest banyan tree - banyan square - next to the hotel), building is nice, big lanai, hotel has an atmosphere as it is over 100 years old (for example Jack London stayed there).

Our real issue, and that's why we decreased points in Comfort area, was terrible noise from the A/C units. Each room has its own, and when is it running in the room next to you, it is difficult to even speak to each other on lanai. And lanais are not divided by any wall from each other. Also, A/C is noisy in the room as well. So quality of our sleep was quite poor.

I loved the location. It was in the center of the action. Free parking was provided. It reminded me of an old plantation. Exellent value was provided.

Beautiful spot for breakfast! Loved the lanai

Had to carry our stroller and luggage upstairs - but it's a historic building so I accept that there is no elevator. The beauty and charm of the place out weigh this inconvenience

Most staff were friendly and helpful. Great location with an excellent bar/restaurant attached. Good value for money.

Noisy air conditioner. Decor is a bit dated. The pool is quite small and in shade most of the day.

Relaxed historical hote, quiet room, looking over pool. Being away from the street side was good. If wanting resort style, this is not the place, but it is comfortable, clean, nnice bathroom, affordable for single traveller or couple wanting to be in heart of Lahaina. Great location. Good restaurant, cute parrot, friendly staff especially reception staff. Parking included.

Stairs especially when carrying luggage out (had help with bags when checking in though). Housekeeping very good but walked in on me when getting dressed after letting her know that I would be checking out so to please wait to a certain time.

Great location, relaxing pool area and the best front desk service - so friendly and helpful. While check in was at 3 they gave me pool and wifi access and my room was ready even earlier.
