Great location - close to the subway but in a quiet location so you sleep well at night. It's a great price for hotel.
Very close to subway. Didn't have any worries coming home at midnight after a great day in Manhattan.
After seven days of watery egg mix and meat looking patte looking thing, breakfast became a chore. I know they said continental, but just a tiny bit of variety would have gone a long way.
Close to metro
Small room, unhelpful staff, no where to sit for breakfast, not enough tables
Rude front desk people upon arrival came looking for me after I checked in said they had to run my card again then they wanted to photo copy my credit card
Distant view of the Skyline of Manhatten from the Hotel room. Bed clean and comfortable.
21st Street in Queens is not an area you want to walk from the subway to the hotel at night. Breakfast - poor! Long ride on the subway to downtown Manhatten.
First floor rooms are good but staff makes to much noise in the morning
The service was good but my television didn't work
Secured parking underground, lobby was friendly and clean, breakfast choices, screened windows for fresh air!
Location was questionable at first. I'm a country person so not familiar with big city environments. Would like to see café/dining restaurant on the premises.
The staff was resourceful and extremely friendly, it was a very good service. The establishment was clean and so was the room. The breakfast was awesome like you would expect from similar hotels. Overall my stay was more than satisfying.
The only issue was the ventilator in the bathroom (not the most effective).
The staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the surroundings. Rooms were clean. Good view of the Queensbourough Bridge, if you spend the extra money for a "city view". Only 2 blocks from subway stop.
Rooms were smaller than they appeared in the photos when booking. The pillows were very soft. Mattresses soft. Good showerhead, but for the price of the room, it would be nice to have some decent toilet paper in the bathroom that didn't fall apart just by looking at it:(. Over all, not worth the price.
Only good thing it was 2 minutes walkingf from Subway
Besides being 2 minutes walking from the subway the location is pretty bad. Not easy to find a good restaurant nearby. The street in from of the Hotel is too noisy. There was not also a good isolation from the noisy from other rooms. The price is a little bit below from other Hotels in Manhatan but it is not worthy.
It was amazing to find a hotel this close to Manhattan at a budget price without having to share a bathroom. We had a lovely view of Manhattan from our window, the breakfast was adequate, and the facilities were well set up.
Friendly, professional staff. Clean, comfortable room. In gritty industrial area but just one subway stop from midtown Manhattan.
not to Much choice for breakfast
Had a high chair for my son Staff were friendly Not far from train station 20 mins to get to Times Square Breakfast was great The pack and play for baby was great
Lifts takes too long Room size was small Air con noise even when switch off
I liked the bed it was comfy and the bathroom mirror was great
I didn't like the limited selection of tv channels most of my channels didn't have sound. Every best western I've stayed in had great tv has to be privately owned
The location of the hotel was very good. For the money spent, access to Manhattan was above expectation. Overall experience was positive as well, the room was adequate in size, cleanliness and furbishing. Nice, flat screen TV and a very good view on Manhattan (free upgrade as offered by the hotel personnel).
A minor downside was the breakfast area. Although the breakfast itself was good value for money, there was barely enough seating, and the breakfast area itself was quite small. Although we didn't have any problems with the neighborhood, some people might. When visiting New York as a tourist, this shouldn't be a problem though, as you'll most probably go directly to Manhattan, which is accessible via a subway station just two blocks away. Wi-Fi speed was just good enough for movie streaming via Netflix.
Really nice hotel, staff very helpful. We had a jacuzzi in our room!!!
Very helpful and friendly staff. Room spacious, comfortable, and clean.
Elevator didn't always work and the location is not extremely accessible to get to the city and back. It's not a terribly long walk to the metro, but it is a couple blocks.
Hotel was nice, clean, staff was helpfull and friendly. Subway 2 blocks. Great view (but we payed for it.)
Location was poor, next to a gas station, facing a factory, nextdoor a ghetto, but safe. Subway station didn´t work during weekend. Modest breakfast, everyday the same.
Location is good. You get to see the real New York and it very close to the Subway. 6 or 7 stops and you are in Mid Manhattan.
The elevator was a little slow.
It was close to subway, rooms were clean, air conditioner worked really well.
Not exactly the neighborhood you're going to be staying in but great location as far as being close to a subway stop. Literally a 2 minute walk, then maybe 15 minutes to get to the city on the subway. The staff was nice and helpful and assisted us in finding where we needed to go and gave a helpful handout telling us exactly how to get to the top attractions.
It wasn't in the nicest part of town, but like I said, we didn't really hang out in that area.
very small rooms.
