Location to subway
The fact that if you pay with a debit card they hold one hundred dollars.
The faculty was awesome from arrival to departure the view perfect, the bed was cozy, breakfast was warm and good variety for Continental breakfast
Really don't have anything to say negative
Subway to Manhattan
Broken ceiling, a small selection of food for breakfast.
the breakfast staff were friendly and kept it well stocked. the cleaning ladies leave the room spotless every time, great job.
the desk clerk said they were changing shifts and had me wait (the young man coming in had a bad disposition) to check in. I added days to my stay and the other clerks were excellent (nick, jd)
Room was very clean.
Asked for quiet room. Room was on 21st. Not quiet. Ask for room facing the back.thermostat was difficult to adjust. No extra blanket.
Heater very slow.
super close to the metro 'F' line to get into Manhattan.
The neighbourhood is poor
The sheets and towels were clean Employes that worked in the breakfast area were nice. The hotel is 5-7 minutes walking from the hotek, but the area is really bad and maybe dangerous.
1. 1st and 2nd night we couldn't sleep because of an alarm, coming from a storage across the road. Employees should have contacted the storage to find out a solution. No soundproof windows, we could hear every noise coming from the road. 2. P a r k i n g lot very small and not protected. We were lucky to find an empty spot but the spaces are very narrow! The last day we found a huge scratch on the back of our car. No door to protect cars 3. Very bad area, no restaurants around, ugly buildings, some homeless people 4. Low budget, really poor breakfast, no place for everyone to sit. People were loading plates and were going back to their rooms to eat. 5. Employees at the reception desk not very polite, especially those who were there at night 6. There was a bad smell coming from the matress under the sheets, which was disgusting.
Closeness to amenities, smart rooms
Rude restaurant staff, policy to lock fridges with yoghurt, fruits and bread because of a minute delay for breakfast
Customer service was great. Young ladies and men at the front desk was very helpful.
The parking was terrible . We had to pay for parking. Going down the parking lot was very tight.
The bathroom was not cleaned every day and there were no comforters. The Room was do tiny and we could barely move
Great price and value for the money. It's just a couple of subway stops from Manhattan. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Just tried the exercise room for the first time--for a small hotel they have a couple of really nice pieces of equipment.
Have been here several times. This time I got a room on the first floor right across from the breakfast room. This isn't a good location for a room. Try to avoid a first floor room and you'll be fine. First floor is a little noisy.
The breakfast was nice. The one security guard walked us down to our car, he was very nice. Front desk staff very helpful!
The constant alarm going off all night long across the street all 3 nights. We got no sleep. It was terrible. The rooms were very tiny.
1 . The space of resturant is too narrow the cost increased by $15 per day which make the cost enlarged to $500 instead of $ 422 which is not clear during reservation
clean & quiet
For us the location works fine. The room was nice and quiet. Also the breakfast including it's not a bad idea.
The parking situation . They should have more parking space.
I didn't like that parking was additional money on top of paying for the room. It should be included. As well as having to pay even more for a roll away bed. We felt as if that was a rip off. They are amenities that are usually included with a stay in a hotel.
I enjoyed the free wi-fi to upload my holiday photos at the end of each day.
I wish there was Bacon on the breakfast menu.

Proximity to shops and public transport.
Staff needs more training. I was given a room that was already occupied. Breakfast was a bonus but needs a bit more selections. Otherwise good accommodation .
The breakfast was very good, as was the cleanliness of the dining area. Jasmine from the front desk was excellent and engaging with a sincere smile.
Overnight desk clerk was not engaging or personable.
room thermostat didn't seem to work, was quite cold at night.
We had a king size room with a city view (room 805) and it was fantastic. The bed was so comfy, I wanted to bring it home!!! If this hotel was in Manhattan you would be paying at least 3times more than what they charge. But it is so worth staying in long island city and getting the subway (2min walk from the hotel) into Manhattan. The free breakfast in the morning offers a wide variety and is delicious. Before we left for New York we were planning on where to leave our suitcases in the city on the last day after we checked out. But when we arrived the people at the desk told us they looked after them for free which was really really helpful. I was really impressed with this hotel, we will definitely be staying again in the future, I couldn't recommend more.
Nothing I didn't like!
Great service at breakfast, excellent food. Great location. Staff went out of their way to make the stay as enjoyable as possible
They charged your credit card up front. Which I was not expecting that at all.
