Cerca a Manhattan y a la estación del metro
Everything was unexpected the room was huge and to my liking and just enough for me and my husband. We will definitely be staying here again. It's close to his family even though it's the projects it still was peaceful
The staff especially front desk person Jasmine was extremely helpful and courteous. The breakfast was very welcoming, both hot and cold with pastry. Will recommend to everyone to stay here.
The only negative was the location. Once acclimated it was ok. It was though very convenient to transportation. Just 8 minutes to Manhattan.
If you do not want to pay double price for similar hotels in Manhattan, this is the perfect place to stay. The room is generally ok, the bed is comfortable and clean. We had also nice view on Queen's bridge. The colors could be more inviting - the curtains and the carpet are brown.
The towels are not fully clean. When holding it aginst the light, you could see yellow/orange spots on it.
Just two metro stops from Manhattan. Breakfast was good and, although the breakfast room is very small, staff was really kind and always helped us in finding a table.
The area around the hotel. I think it is safe but there is not so much to do. We had a room with Manhattan view, but I think it was not really worthy the extra money we paid for that.
Distance to city and airport
No in house restaurant
Staff was friendly
Same hot breakfast every day No room service availability
Price Personal Breakfast
Good value for your money. The complementary breakfast is great.
The hotel didnt even have a wine opener at their disposal. The front staff is only there to check you in/out and that is it. Do not expect much help from them for anything else.
Clean for all it was worth. Was not a lot of noise. Close to the train.
The $100 deposit was a bit much. The neighborhood is bad. Staff could be a bit more courteous
Even tho it's in Long Island city, there are three subway stations within a 10 minute walk and one that's a stone throw away. All subway lines will bring you to Manhattan.
I didn't like the service. They just didn't know how to talk to us. My bath was with hair. Didn't have park because there is just few parking in the hotel. My view wasn't the way they said would be. The location was terrible. I couldn't find any kind of good restaurants or bar near there. I couldn't sleep because you can hear everything that is going on in the other rooms, and they were doing what all couples do. Oh and i had few marks of bed bug on me.
I liked the cleanliness and the location is great, beds are comfortable.
When we first arrived front desk male staff was extremely rude and seemed bothered we were there.. Told us systems were down and theres nothing he can do about it. Also the showers had to be running for about 10 minutes to get hot and our curtain didnt stay closed so the floor was soaked after every shower
Nice clean room and bed. Comfortable. And refrigerator was a plus! Also a block and half from subway!
Some of the tv channels didn't work. I asked front desk twice and they said it was a problem on the cable side. I eventually called direct tv for hotels and they told me all the hotel needed to do was reset the audio cables by pulling them out and then in. I was disappointed nobody from the hotel bothered to do that themselves. I emailed the manager and didn't receive a return email.
the bed the lift
Decor was tasteful. Clean, tidy. Breakfast was better than expected. Staff eager to please and very polite. Bed very comfortable. Room quiet, view beyond expectations.
Location felt somewhat uncertain for safety. Room A/C unit rather noisy and air flow billows the curtains. Bathroom vent perhaps not working efficiently. Need shelf for toiletries! Elevators sometimes slow.
Eating breakfast with plastic cutleries.
Location was good, near to subway which was 4 stops from Times Square. Having breakfast was convenient. Air Con in the room was appreciated.
Breakfast room was very small with not enough place for everyone to sit however on the other hand having the convenience of breakfast was a plus. We had to take breakfast to our room to eat which was fine. Generally a good experience.
Amazing Location .. i can reach any place in NYC not more than 10- 20 mint
Clean. Comfortable. Complimentary Breakfast. Close to Subway.
No good restaurants in the proximity -- had to walk five blocks for Chinese.
The room, the hot tube everything was really nice. I wish I could get discount prices I will be telling all my friends and family
The location is terrible!!! I was afraid at first but my boyfriend said it would be ok and the staff was nice, what I don't like is why you have hold a deposit?? If I'm getting the room already and you don't state that In the contract when you book I read the fine print and it said nothin about it even thought I got my money back it's just the point. What if that was all I had?? So I can't get my room?? Is this standard for all guest or was it because I went to a site online
The only thing I really couldn't complain about was the cleanliness of the bathroom. It was very clean which is a huge plus.
Wow, where do I start?! The location is horrible. The neighborhood is run down. It's right next to the projects and extremely noisy!! Our room was in the front of the building. The windows are not sound proof. You could hear every siren that passed as if it were right in the room! You could hear people's conversations loud and clear as they passed by. Needless to say we did not get any sleep! The bed was king but looked smaller. The pillows were half the size of regular pillows. The room was very small. On top of all of this, they charge a $100 "incidental" fee in case you damage anything. The clerk at the front desk said I will see a credit go back on my account for $100 the. Why next day which I still have yet to see and its going on day #2 since my stay. Bottom line: Unless you are a heavy sleeper and strapped for cash I would not recommend this hotel at ALL. I will never go back again
Overall it is good, the location, rate, service are good, worth to choose if your budget is not so much
The location is perfect if you want to save from paying an expensive yet poor quality hotel in Manhattan. Very accessible with just one train/subway ride(no need to transfer) to Manhattan.
