the bed the lift
Decor was tasteful. Clean, tidy. Breakfast was better than expected. Staff eager to please and very polite. Bed very comfortable. Room quiet, view beyond expectations.
Location felt somewhat uncertain for safety. Room A/C unit rather noisy and air flow billows the curtains. Bathroom vent perhaps not working efficiently. Need shelf for toiletries! Elevators sometimes slow.
Eating breakfast with plastic cutleries.
Location was good, near to subway which was 4 stops from Times Square. Having breakfast was convenient. Air Con in the room was appreciated.
Breakfast room was very small with not enough place for everyone to sit however on the other hand having the convenience of breakfast was a plus. We had to take breakfast to our room to eat which was fine. Generally a good experience.
Amazing Location .. i can reach any place in NYC not more than 10- 20 mint
Clean. Comfortable. Complimentary Breakfast. Close to Subway.
No good restaurants in the proximity -- had to walk five blocks for Chinese.
The room, the hot tube everything was really nice. I wish I could get discount prices I will be telling all my friends and family
The location is terrible!!! I was afraid at first but my boyfriend said it would be ok and the staff was nice, what I don't like is why you have hold a deposit?? If I'm getting the room already and you don't state that In the contract when you book I read the fine print and it said nothin about it even thought I got my money back it's just the point. What if that was all I had?? So I can't get my room?? Is this standard for all guest or was it because I went to a site online
The only thing I really couldn't complain about was the cleanliness of the bathroom. It was very clean which is a huge plus.
Wow, where do I start?! The location is horrible. The neighborhood is run down. It's right next to the projects and extremely noisy!! Our room was in the front of the building. The windows are not sound proof. You could hear every siren that passed as if it were right in the room! You could hear people's conversations loud and clear as they passed by. Needless to say we did not get any sleep! The bed was king but looked smaller. The pillows were half the size of regular pillows. The room was very small. On top of all of this, they charge a $100 "incidental" fee in case you damage anything. The clerk at the front desk said I will see a credit go back on my account for $100 the. Why next day which I still have yet to see and its going on day #2 since my stay. Bottom line: Unless you are a heavy sleeper and strapped for cash I would not recommend this hotel at ALL. I will never go back again
Overall it is good, the location, rate, service are good, worth to choose if your budget is not so much
The location is perfect if you want to save from paying an expensive yet poor quality hotel in Manhattan. Very accessible with just one train/subway ride(no need to transfer) to Manhattan.
Hotel is quite close to metro station and by orange line you can get to Manhattan relatively quickly. Rooms are nice, clean and comfortable, didn't have problem with wifi even on 6th floor. Services offered by hotel are fine, staff was nice as well.
Except for the metro station proximity, location is a bit scary (especially at night). Anybody who is calling breakfast offered by this hotel "continental" has probably never been to other continent than America. Breakfast in this hotel is as far from being "continental" as is New York from Europe.
Located close to subway
Staff we're not helpful.
hotel close to metro station breakfast nice and cosy room clean bathroom
Location safety, taxi service, noisy all day and nite, room doors have been forced before, door lock and mechanism was very loose with missing bolts...
Staff was very cordial. chose this location due to the pricing. Other than the room we had i would try it again.
Our room was on the 1st floor of the building directly across from the vending and small dining area. First night stay we had to listen to a pump running above our room. Unsure what it was but it pretty much ran through the night. Second night stay the pump sound had diminished, but awakened by the vending machines being restocked at 4am in the morning.
Area is a bit scary and very dirty, this is coming from a small town girl.
We enjoyed jaccuzi very much. It was a great value.
We got off the wrong station, so we felt a little scared walking down the street.
Closeness to subway to Manhattan
Rooms are very small and the neighbourhood is a bit questionable.
My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel as we were going to a couple I shows and exploring the city. There was a subway station nearby and also a Subway restaurant. Staff were friendly, breakfast was good and the room was tidy. Thank you.
The cleanliness as good as always. The location and the comfort are great.
The front desk receptionists (most of them) used to care more. I had some very inconvenient moments this time. They were fair and followed the protocol but kindness was very far away. During this stay one of them was actually rude. In the past we had the best treatment you can imagine. That's a pity because it's a very good hotel but bad staff can ruin it for the guests.
I'd love the proximity of subway! And the morning food.
Not much parking in the hotel. Always sold out.
Proximity to subway. 1minute walking.
It is just beside the road which might prevent you from deep sleeping.
Good location, close to subway and 2 stops away from Manhattan. Big bathroom, comfy beds, helpful staff. Reliable wi-fi, ironing facilities.
Breakfast is not good at all: tastes bland, never changes and is very limited - definitely not worth the money. The room was quite small (barely enough space to move around the beds) and could be cleaner, especially the carpets.
Breakfast wasnt very good. There was no space to sit and have breakfast. People were struggling at breakfast time. We had to grab and go to our room to eat.
