Very friendly staff Walking distance to deli, grocery, etc

Wish they had more work-out equipment such as eliptical There is an ambulance service next door and the sirens sound off intermittently during sleeping hours - not a huge problem, but could be if the service got busier!

The gentleman at the front desk was SO friendly and anxious to please. Great Breakfast...

We had a third floor room overlooking the garbage bins!

Everyone was very nice - and when I had a taste for coffee after breakfast hours - one of your staff members gladly accomodated my "wish!"

We stayed in room 102 and it was quite noisy. We planned on getting away and sleeping in...unfortunately that didn't happen. Kids are fine, but yelling and screaming before 8:00 a.m. was a bit much, and it happened every morning we were there -

rooms very luxurious. Loved the second vanity area. Will stay again. Used the gym and hot tub which was a treat. Felt taken care of by staff. Loved the coffee at breakfast.

Wished the ventilation worked better in the bathrooms.

We were only there to sleep one night as we were visiting family so didn't do more than sleep. Bed was great and bathroom roomy. Two sinks was great.

We stayed in three rooms as a family group for a graduation. Although we all arrived at different times, the management put us in rooms that were close to each other and provided a crib and an extra bed with no problem. Staff were always friendly and helpful; rooms were sparkling. Thanks for a great stay!

Good breakfast

The hotel its self was so nice. It was new, clean and roomy. The staff was so friendly from check in to check out. The staff recommended some hiking locations and they were amazing! Just what we were looking for. The breakfast was so good too! Not just cold cereal and wrapped pastries... real food that would last you all morning. I have already told my friends, family and co workers how nice our hotel was. I recommend it highly, especially for the price. In fact, I tipped the hotel maid, I NEVER do this... seriously!

Too expensive

Room furnishing and space. Bathroom space and design. Hallways design. Pool comfortably warm.

Noisy location (busy street with sirens at night).

Very clean, easy to find, close to everything. Nice room and great bed.

location is close to where we were going to see sports match. Also, friendly staff...and of course breakfast..FREE.

I did not find anything that I did not like.

Not far from the beach but ask at reception about how to get to the main village of Capitola. This information wasn't offered up to us and we didn't realise until a day later that there was a great little seaside main village nearby which was beautiful. However at the end of the main street where the hotel is there is also great walkway along the cliff top overlook the beach and surfers. (The not so touristy part of town). Rooms were huge and very comfortable. Laundry on site, adequate breakfast, nice hotel.

Location location location. We wanted to get away to the beach in Capitola, without staying in the middle of the crowds.

If we must pick one thing it was definitely the pillows.

The location was great -- 5 minutes to Capitola and 10 minutes to Santa Cruz. There was good nearby shopping including Whole Foods and lots of restaurants - especially in Capitola. It was quiet and very clean. The pool was spotless. Service was excellent and attentative. The staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations for restaurants. On the last day, we were late for breakfast and the staff allowed us to have a late breakfast.

Had a great stay, plan to stay again on furture trips to the area.

We felt welcomed by the staff of the hotel. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. They all greeted you as you passed them in the hallways. The first morning we went down for breakfast a staff member showed us around the breakfast room so we would know what was there. We found this most helpful. Our room was always made up in a timely manner with everything in its place. It was just a very pleasant place to be! We would recommend it highly to our friends and family.

All staff was friendly and welcoming. They did the best they could to make accomodations for my requests. It was quiet and comfortable. Would stay there again.
