I like that the front dest staff was very friendly and without any hesitation change my reservation from bunk beds to double queen beds room. The mix up occurred during booking. The room was clean, and the cleaning staff kept that way throughout our stay, no problem when I ask for extra shampoo and towels. Breakfast was good, they had issue of running out of eggs and plates when the crowd of hungry swimmers went through but they were able to recover quickly and restock the items.
not related to the hotel , the weather was an challenge.
Room was nice, we however anticipated a suite with a privacy door but got a room interconnected. Clarity is key in advertising.
The breakfast was fantastic. The location of the hotel was great.
close to amenities very clean staff were nice
pool was closed due to painting put in a handicapped suite so no bathtub tried to check in when expected and had to wait two hours instead
I enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. Having biscuits and gravy was a treat.
Check in was slow. Even though we got there late (after 10 pm) there were people checking in that seemed to take a long time and only one clerk. The parking lot was dark. After staying there I noticed my antenna had been taken. Not sure if it happened there or not.
We waited 2 hours to get a room and were repeatedly told it would only take a few more minutes. The one housekeeper on staff was also the airport shuttle driver, so all check-in came to a standstill whenever she had to make a run.
It was close to wild waves :)
Staff didn't even bother to great me as I came up to the desk. Just stared at me like "what do you want??" Room was average to below average. Breakfast was horrible. didn't even bother eating it. Used to be that a 3 star hotel was decent. Won't be staying at any 3 star hotels again.
location was nice and rooms were clean but nothing special and no fans in the bathroom!
check in was VERY slow! When we finally got the staff to check us in we were told the wifi was down, but not told that the jacuzzi was cold water and we didn't need to waste our time. It was Labor Day weekend and we were charged very high rates and it wasn't even a pleasure trip for us. (funeral out of state) No discount offered. Not even a sorry for the inconvenience.
Location, ease of access, hot buffet, free wi-fi, nice and clean room.
It would be nicer to have a king size bed instead of a queen bed.
Excellent staff and cleaning crew were always available if we needed something. Somewhat dated in appearance, but very comfortable bed and amenities. It was in a good location, close to shops and restaurants, and right off the interstate.
We ordered food from the restaurant and the chicken I had was uncooked on the inside, very crunchy and rubbery. They took it back and brought the same piece of chicken, cooked some more, but still was not edible. We assumed they would have cooked a new chicken instead. Finally I ordered another dish and that was better. I was not charged for the non-edible chicken dish. Our single king size room came with a door that opens to another room, for use by families travelling together that want two or more rooms together. Because of the door, sounds and noises were easily heard from the other room, though our neighbors seemed cautious about it too and kept noises down. There was no Wi-Fi available for 2 of the 3 days we stayed there. It was repaired on Tuesday, the day after Labor Day. The pool and spa were out of service. The pool opened on Tuesday, the spa never did.
clean and friendly
The room was very worth the money
The person checking us in was very rude! She checked us in to a room that hadn't been cleaned yet. No towels in the pool area even after asking for them twice at the front desk! WiFi never worked
The wi-Fi didn't work. When we called to ask for assistance with the TV and wi-Fi we never got a response. When we went downstairs to the front desk to complain they said there was nothing they could do. The bathroom door wouldn't stay shut or locked. The shower curtain had been cut 6 inches short so every time you used it, the floor would flood. There was no water pressure in the sink and the room wasn't ready when we checked in.
Excellent facility and friendly staff; very helpful. Most important to us -- very clean.
Convenient location, great value for the money. I love the hot breakfast buffet. Will come back again!
Price was good. Room was clean and modern. Nice to have coffee maker and fridge and microwave. The buffet breakfast was awesome and the restaurant was good as well. I would have no problem recommending this hotel to friends.
The loud air conditioner. It would have been nice to just open window but traffic was too noisy. Just used ear plugs no big deal.
T.V. did not work. Bedspread cover Dirty. Breakfast serving area too crowded. Need more than 1 waffle maker for the size of this hotel. Reported T.V. not working. Told to waiting because other T.V.s were not working, as well. It was 10 p.m. so we said we were going to bed. Asked for compensation for no T.V. Was told manager would call us. He never called. 2 days later I called. Found out manager was not going to return my call. I was told there was nothing they could do. I asked for comp to be credited to my credit card used. They gave me 15%, which I don't feel is adequate. We will never go back.
Good quality products
I liked that you offered a hot breakfast. I had an early meeting at Humana everyday all week and the last thing I wanted to deal with was restaurant breakfast decisions. The breakfast was delious the staff in the dining area was exceptional! Your front desk gals can learn some customer service tips from them. Housecleaning did a wonderful job!
Clean rooms and friendly staff. The complimentary breakfast was good.
The location was a bit too far (9 miles or so) from the airport for me but nothing else was available.
The front desk clerk (I think it was Paula?) was extremely helpful and friendly. I discovered when I called from the airport asking about the shuttle that I had no reservation. She found that it was in the system as a "No Show" for July 15th instead of the day I was there - August 15th. She put me in another room and I found my email once I was there showing the confirmation for the correct date so it was a mistake by the hotel. Fortunately there was another room or I really would have been in a bad situation as I was traveling alone from Ketchikan Alaska to Newark NJ and had no other options, nor could I afford to pay for another night. The charge had already been put on my credit card when I made the reservation. The shuttle driver was a very pleasant young man, helpful with information about the area and things to do. I enjoyed his company very much.
The air conditioner had no controls so you either plugged it in or unplugged it. Plugged in, it was blasting cold air which was way too much. Either the pillows or the pillowcases smelled like they were not clean, as if someone had already used them. I put towels over them but I found that to be very unpleasant. The remote control changed channels but nothing else could be done as far as looking the guide or info on each channel. The book in the room with hotel info had 2 different pages with tv channels but no indication of what was correct. Also, I know there was a gym but nothing in the book about where it or the pool was in the hotel. I went to 3 different floors (none of which was mine) to find ice and a snack vending machine. I only found soda machines, 1 of the ice machines was out of order, 1 I got a few pieces of ice out of and then it wouldn't give anymore. That was frustrating. And the only snacks are in the "store" next to the front desk which I find inconvenient, especially when you are on the 5th floor. There should be vending machines for snacks so customers don't have to traipse down through the lobby whenever they want something to eat. Also the restaurant doesn't open until 5:00 which means there is no place to go for lunch except to leave the building.
I continually asked for a manager to call me and was always told they were not available of there on site. Never once did I get a call from the manager after twice daily trips to the desk.I was unable to get on WIFI for important business calls and had to spend the whole day into evenings at competitors hotels to do my job. A concession for the night stay was in order and traveling with a 7 year old where I was unable to do any business in the hotel room is simply horrible leaving teh room each day at 6 am. Later the staff admitted wifi did not reach that room - still I expect a call and some sort of concession even if minimal it is the right thing to do and shame on the owner/manager that does not empower their team with the tools they need to do their jobs- Truly the worst experience and I travel all over the country and have never been compelled to share any negative experience until now.
Good room at a good price
I signed up for the shuttle to the airport. They didn't get me down and I had to get a $45.00 cab ride to seatac.
very clean,comfortable great breakfast,great location
restaurant could have been better, pool was lacking
Front desk staff was very cheerful and helpful. Breakfast included with room was a good value.
Stained carpets in the rooms and horrible worn out bed which was very small and did not seem to be queensized. Wait for shuttle on the day we took it to the airport was one and a half hours and left without us even though we were waiting where the front desk advised us to wait.
