It was good for the price I paid.
Booking. Com assure me that they would not go into my credit card till I was there. The approved my card one day before I was there. And also said that I had till 4:00pm to cancel or they would charge my card, but nevertheless they went into my card the day before. Not a very good thing to do, say something and then do something else.
It is a bit tired; walking in the hallway I could smell the disinfectant. The carpet was very warn out.
Wlan worked well.
Although a nonsmoking room was booked, it took us half an hour to eliminate the smell of previous smoking.
Smell of cigarette smoke in hallways and room all night long. Room mini-fridge did not work.

We reserved a room with two queen beds for 4 adults on Sept. 13, 2014 for Oct. 11, 2014 at the Best Western Merrimack Valley. We were shopping in Merrimack until 8pm when called the hotel to confirm our reservation. A women informed me that we had a room with one queen bed and one sofa bed (thinking it would be a normal - double bed size sofa bed)... So I asked if we could get switched to get two queens since we paid 152.00$ for.. and she said it was not possible since the hotel was fully booked. At this point, we are tired and hungry. So, we went for supper and drove to the hotel. We get to the hotel around 10:15pm to check-in. Cody at the front desk (who was very polite and empathetic towards our situation) informed us of the situation again, that we had one queen bed with a sofa bed, we complained about the rate staying the same since we didn't get the room we booked, so he said we needed to talk to Val Robichaud or Angela Gilkes to lower the rate. He also informed us that the nearest available hotel to accommodate us would be in Bangor.. 3h away. Again, we are tired and just want to go to bed since we have another big shopping day in the morning. We get to our room, and realize that the "sofa bed" was the size of a Toddler bed and we are expected to sleep 2 adults on this bed. Unacceptable. So we return to the front desk and finally they go to the storage room and found us a double bed mattress to put on the floor. The next morning, we ask to speak to the lovely Angela Gilkes! No customer service skills what so ever. I have never been treated with no respect like that by a Hotel Manager in my life. She was defensive, unapologetic, kept interrupting us, raised her voice and did not seem the least bit sorry for the inconvenience. She offered to lower the rate by 30$. Unacceptable. We had to argue with her to have the rate lowered to 85$ which I still think is too much considering the experience we got and service received.
Just improve on the WiFi network specially the one located at Haverhill MA

Not WOWED by anything really. Staff not that friendly and actually seemed bored of their jobs. Bad smell in the rooms. Fragile furniture in the rooms. Maid service was sloppy at best

Problem with a room key not working. It needed to be reprogrammed. Appliances in the room were connected to extension cords that appeared to be stressed.
comfort of the room- clean, unexpected balcony. washer/dryer room. hotel amendities-pool, use of computer. pleasant lobby. convient shopping in walking distance. Downtown area a few miles down the road. one night stay. It was great.
We had no complaints.
Contrary to other comments read on various sites, we were very satisfied with our stay. The little minor issues (insufficient towels and toiletries) were dealt with without delay and satisfactorily. The breakfast was basic but included varied items that were replenished continually by the employee tending the buffet. Everything was very clean in the room. The hotel itself was quiet at night. The diner across the street offered good meals at a reasonnable price.
Please bring the temperature down in the hot tub in the pool area. No need to scald the skin off our bones!
hotel needs heavy remodeling feels like traveling back in time
We got here late at night after reserving a room through Booking.com. When we arrived, there were no double rooms left, so they gave us a king for the same price. Kelly, at the front desk was so nice, and tried her best to accommodate us. Room was spacious, clean and pretty. Bathroom was huge, and we loved the shower head! Room comes with all the conveniences. They take pets too for $20. Nice stay.
Regular prices are a bit steep. The room would have been $190, which seems high for a place off the highway.
quiet, couldn't hear any noises outside of our room even though we were next to the elevator and there were many children staying there
layout of hallways was confusing breakfast was very crowded, couldn't get near the one and only waffle machine. breakfast hours ended too early
The room opened into the closet area which was pretty inconvenient. The tub and sink in the bathroom did not drain, not even over night. The toilet would only flush if you held the handle down for a minute or so. The wallpaper in the room was peeling and there were cob webs from the lamps to the wall. Breakfast was terrible and the hallways smelled bad
staff was very friendly, however, when i asked them any questions they didn't know the answer and/or gave me the wrong answer. cleaning staff always made sure we had what we needed.
when we checked in i asked 3 different times that nothing more would be charged to my card because i had already paid for my room they told me NO all 3 times and 2 days later i had a hold of 125 dollars from the hotel. mold in our room and all they did was wipe with bleach didn't open a window or offer a different room. it rained and the hall way flooded. power went out while doing laundry and we lost the money we paid for it and had wet clothes. a couple was arguing and swearing and yelling out front while we were walking in the hotel and scared my kids. also a guy about 20-.25 came running as fast as he could out of the hotel and knocked my son on the ground and when we got to our room another male staying across the hall came bursting out of his room chasing the other male, which scared us all. it also smelled like marijuana all through-out our hall way and the smell was coming into our room. not happy and i feel like i wasted a lot of my money.

Continental breakfast was ok but the space is very loud.
The rooms were dirty. Carpet stained. Dated. Pool wasn't operational (which was part of what we were looking forward to on our trip so disappointing). The hot breakfast items were cold. The wifi didn't work. Just generally disappointed.
Hotel matched our expectations,room ready (although delayed due to flight, staff friendly and helpful , breakfast adequate , room comfortable, value for money
