I went with my girlfriend and was suppose to have a garden view. I only saw the freeway and heared it all night.No complimentary Hordoers and no piano playing at all like it use too. The dinner place on the complex was terrible. Salty food and no flavor. i wish we could of gotten an ocean view , but was too expensive. Also I could hear children screaming next door early in the morning and the night before. My girlfriend was a return customer yrs ago and was disappointed. Everything had change.

Being right on the beach was wonderful. Though we were not facing the beach it was close by. It was a really nice beach to walk on and on. Also the lobby view was great.

Not enough time.

The lobby and restaurant are both very nice and great staff. Loved the location on the beach. Also really liked the nice privacy window blind system that is electric.

The rooms are a bit old and small bathrooms were small are dark lighting.

the staff was pleasant and helpful and always were always friendly.

the bed was very uncomfortable and the boards on the sides of the bed caused bruising to my thighs and shin.

I liked that the hotel was by the beach.

The staff was not friendly, especially when we checked in the girl didnt explain anything to us (ie how much money is going to be put on hold, and etc). outside of our room smelled really bad and there was a lot of flies. Expected the room to be a little better looking, for what we payed and also paying for parking. Then after I noticed the charge for $728, I went to the front desk and had them explain to me about the charges, which was expected. After I got home I noticed another charge for $628, plus the $728.... All in all I called got this straightened out, to me this was more of a stressful vacation I've ever had. I travel a lot and this is most difficult hotel I had to deal with.

I liked that it had a great view of the ocean, sunset, beach to walk on. It also had a nice restaurant.

For the money, it seemed shabby and run down, but I understand facilities take a beating by the coast. However, I had indicated I was on crutches and had disability issues, but that piece of information got lost in the shuffle. To top it off, they charge $17 a night for parking, and it wasn't even near my room! I had a long walk on crutches from the parking area to my room, which was at the opposite end of the hotel.

The hotel was very nice. Our room opened right to the beach with a beautiful view of the bay. It was easy to get to, right off the freeway. A great value for the money.

The bathroom did not have a bathtub and we have a 4 year old with us. The shower was small and had no door. We actually had to step into the shower in order to close the bathroom door.

Very loud buzzing noise all night from electrical panel beside our room...very little sleep on second night.

The beach

Not very clean. Parking fee! There were no other options for parking. I think that is unfair to charge for parking if people don't have any other choice.

The View of the ocean was fantastic, the grounds are beautiful. the restaurant food excellent as well as the service. I wanted to stay much longer.

The window in the room overlooking the ocean was not very clear. the 17.00 parking fee was too high. I thought it was only for preferred parking and there would be accessible free parking, but that was not the case.

The location. We loved being right on the beach and it is the only hotel around so the beach wasn't overly crowded. Gorgeous beach too.

The parking fee is a bit steep. I can justify (I suppose) it's necessity but I think they could come up with a better deal than $17 EVERY DAY. The rooms are a bit cramped, but we didn't spend much time there so that's not much of a big deal.

We paid the same price as for 5 star in Vegas.... VERY dated and dirty motel, ocean view room was very unpractical and had a walkway in front of it and every person passing by our window would look inside... The only solution is to have black out blinds down all the time. Beds were very uncomfortable, bathroom was dirty. Overall very poor value for money.

The property was located right on the beach, with beautiful views of the bay. I slept soundly listening to the ocean waves. The bed was very comfortable; there was a desk for business travelers like myself.

The room was entirely too small. It was very dated and in need of updating. The bathroom door nearly hit the toilet because the room as so small.

We loved the location and the amenities that they offer. We love the beach and the view was spectacular.

No complaints. They were more that friendly and accommodating to our requests.

The convenience on the beach

I did not appreciate for the 2nd time/visit, that housekeeping not returning to clean room even when called to inform them we were leaving. A bit frustrating to have to call for towels after 9pm due to housekeeping not attending to our room. We are paying and returning customers and still having the same issue.

The restaurant food and staff are terrible!! Food virtually inedible! Also we paid extra for an ocean view room but in order to see it, I had to clean a disgustingly dirty window myself!
