The location is ideal for us. Weren't prompt on cleaning room, breakfast did not have healthy choices, I have a rewards card but wasn't offered aarp discount. We paid 119.99/nite, aarp rate was approx 99/nite, so I over paid 20/nite.plus 11% tax 8.88/wk, and we booked about a week early not walk ins.

We were placed in a handicapped unit..... Very unfriendly bathroom, no tub. The refrigerator awakend us at least 5 times during the night.

When we came to check in there was no one at the front desk for some time to serve us. (10-15 min). When someone finally came to help us, we were told that we did not have a reservation. After some searching they finally found our reservation and we were able to get our room and had about 20min. to shower and dress for a party we were attending at 4pm. We also found the air conditioner very loud during the night.

The suite was quite roomy and comfortable. The pool was ice cold. There were only 3 chairs at the pool. Breakfast items were out of stock. No condiments.

I appreciated the cleanliness and the facilities. I arrived between 1:00 and 1:30PM on a Saturday. I walked up to the front desk, no one was present, rang the bell, and a young lady came out and immediately acted annoyed that I rang the bell. I told her that I had a reservation and she immediately told me in an unfriendly tone "check in is at 3:00, check out is at 11:00 and no rooms are clean." I was taken aback as the tone was so unfriendly, no smile, no sorry but the room is not ready yet, but cold and just plain uninviting. I was now annoyed and asked again, "no rooms are clean", she was more adament in saying the clean staff has just started cleaning and check in is at 3:00. I told her as I left disappointed that I would be back, she had to add "I will be here" in a smart aleck tone. Thanks but I will not be back, love Sebastion but not this place if she is here. Unhappy surfer.

The room was clean It boasts that it is across from Capt Hirems...was over a mile away. Staff was not helpful. There was some confusion over my room rate; could never get a receipt. Now I have pending charges on both my cards. Can't dispute until they actually charge. Had to change rooms and were conveniently charged $20.00 for our inconveience to the hotel; they have to upgrade our room, but the hotel was not booked. Back to they didn't like my rate when I got there thing. Will never stay at this best western again...ever. It's Capt Hirems or nothing!
