Best Western President Hotel at Times Square

Hotellin sijainti on aivan erinomainen, melkein kaikki New Yorkin tärkeimmät nähtävyydet ovat kävelymatkan päässä. Parhaimmat(ei kyllä halvimmat) shoppailupaikat ovat myöskin vain muutaman korttelin päässä. Central Parkiin on mukava mennä aamulenkille, n. 10km:n lenkki onnistuu helposti, kun juoksee hotellilta Central Parkin takapäähän ja takaisin.

Hotellista ei saa aamiaista. Hyviä aamiaispaikkoja kyllä löytyy hotellin ympäristöstä pilvin pimein ihan niistä halvimmista alkaen. Eniten kävimme syömässä Blue Finissä, joka oli hintava, mutta erittäin hyvä ja ihan korttelin päässä Times Squarella. Meillä oli käytössä deluxe-sviitti ja paras sviitti(nimeä en nyt muista, mutta se kallein) ja molemmat olivat naurettavan pieniä. Deluxe vastasi kooltaan lähinnä suomalaista perushotellihuonetta eikä kalleintaan sviitti kovin kummoinen ollut, mutta käsittääkseni se on normaalia New Yorkissa. Hotelli ei todellakaan ole mikään kovin kummoinen, mutta loistava sijainti korjaa pahimmat puutteet.

Sijainti oli erinomainen ja toinen huoneemme sopivan kokoinen (3 henkeä).

Lämmitys takkuili aluksi, mutta saimme sen toimimaan. Äänieristys ei ollut paras mahdollinen (naapureissa kun ovet sulkeutui, ne paukahtivat niin lujaa että ääneen heräsi kesken unien).

The Staff were all so rude and unhelpful, the toilet got blocked at least once a day.

When we first arrived to the hotel the room was a disgrace it was absoloutely tiny so we went down to complain and they gave us an upgrade, the upgrade room was bigger however the door was broke, the safe would not open, the toilet would not flush, the phone wouldnt work and the air con wouldnt work one night it was 94 degrees in the room i would never go back to this hotel and it is far from a 4 star

Staff service, unfriendly, uninterested, impolite.

The location was the big draw - midtown and close to the theatre district.

The whole building (stairways, elevators, etc) felt cramped and short on space. The exercise facility was not yet open.

Location was perfect - everything you needed within a block or two. Concierge desk very helpful, friendly doormen. Very comfortable bed and pillows.

Ice machines on only three floors, and the one closest to my floor never had ice. Single cup coffee machine in room - brewed one cup at a time and shut off, so coffee got cold fast. A microwave and fridge would have been nice amenities. Only one computer and printer for entire hotel so had to wait in line to print anything.

The location of the hotel was good for my stay and i did enjoy my stay there. The guys at the front desk were efficient - i would love to point out 2 exceptionally efficient people but can't remember their names (one is a tall fair guy on the afternoon shift of 27th thru 29th of October and the other his back to back i suppose - a female that uses glasses. also commending the lady at the bar Jannette. I had a nice time and will definately be back there in Sept or Oct 2010 with my family and other friends

Nice room, clean, small but well maintained. Pleasant stay. Support of helpdesk well appreciated

No new towels at the room when arrived

It is close to the center, simple but convenient. Good service for departure

No safe in the room

The location of the hotel is really excellent, the rooms were recently renovated and have new equipment, free wireless internet is available.

The elevators were quite slow.

The hotel was very central in Manhatten and when entering the hotel the new refurbishment represented a modern and trendy feel which is new for a Best Western Hotel.

Service not very friendly on arrival. Staff seemed disinterested and harrassed. On checkout very helpful,friendly and obliging.(Thank-you Suny)
