Breakfast room is quite small, be sure to be there before 8 AM and there will be no problem with seating.
Excelent located, close to everything on Midtown and close to Subway. Breakfast surprisingly good with different hot food everyday during our 8 night stay.

Room is a little small and dining/ breakfast area too small to cater for all guests.
Conveniently located to transportation hub and major landmarks.

Room too small Elevators didn't work and we felt trapped. Breakfast room incredibly small. Nowhere to sit with our food and we'd have to walk up 12 flights of stairs to get to our room to eat our food? Also, very expensive for as little as we got
Location to subway , restaurants and shopping

The room windows were either not double paned or cheap ones, and certainly did not have storms. The cold poured into our room. The heater could warm the room up adequately, but not completely and the cold poured in. It is a real problem. One that would keep me from staying again except in warm seasons. .
The staff was excellent. The premises and rooms were perfectly clean. The breakfast was surprisingly good. Even the fresh coffee and lemon water in the lobby were fresh and a nice touch. Also the incredible view of the Empire State Building from our back room window was a startling and wonderful surprise.

The area of the hotel. I asked one of the staff a question, they knew the answer.

Plastic or paper disposable plates, cups and cutlery were used for breakfast. Porcelain and glass would be more environmentally friendly.confortable
The location, only a few minutes walk from the Empire State building.

What I didn't like was the staff was very judgmental , rude and unkind being that my partner accompanying my visit is identified as a transsexual. The bed in the room was poorly constructed and as a result, she fell and cut her leg and was bleeding and the staff was very inattentive and in bothered that she was injured due to poor construction of the bed which had a sharp metal plate at the corners. After the incident , their focus was to get us out no later than the forementioned checkout time not taking into consideration that the malfunction of the hotels facilities inflicted injury onto a guest.

but on the other hand the manager & a cleaning lady had a fight in the elevator while I was in it which was not professional.
Staff were very helpful in telling us how to ride the subways and where to go etc. The free breakfast was great! And The room was a little small but more than enough for us! I'd definitely go here again!

The only complaint I had was that the windows did little to shut out the noise outside. I understand though that New York is a very loud city so this is near impossible and probably is the same with all hotels in NYC. If noise is a problem for, I suggest bringing earplugs, they make a huge difference.
This hotel was in an excellent spot in downtown Manhattan! We were within walking distance to a lot of main attractions, and near the subway to get to farther locations. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The rooms were spotless and the maid service was excellent. The free breakfast that was included was also very tasty, and they provided a lot of different options to please everyone. The rooms are small but that is to be expected in NYC. The beds were extremely comfortable. I also loved that they provided 4 pillows, which most hotels don't seem to do. The bathrooms were also really nice. Everything is very modern and up to date. Very nice hotel, will definitely stay here again next time!

Cons: The room is on the small side, but doable and didn’t bother me. Zero internal soundproofing. I could hear the person in the room next to me sneezing. The doors to the rooms are so loud!! The constant slamming sound makes it impossible to sleep at night. Housekeeping is always present on the floor, starting at 8:00am - It was such a disturbance. This also means be woken up at 8AM by vacuuming, banging and housekeepers talking VERY LOUDLY to one another ( this happened 2 of 3 mornings of my stay). This was my biggest issue and main reason for my negative review. I don’t know how mgmt allows them on the floors so early in the morning. I don't know that I've ever had a more frequently interrupted sleep. Unfortunately, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
Pro: Front desk staff were kind and accommodating. That’s about the only positive.

The room is on the small side, but I guess that's just what New York city is like.
The location is absolutely perfect! Just a few blocks away from Times Square, Rockerfeller Center, Empire State Building, Macy's and many others. As for the hotel the interior is excellent! You are getting the best bang for your buck. They have an amazing continental breakfast, gym, business center, lounge with drinks and small plates. This hotel literally has everything you need. In addition they have the most friendly and helpful staff you could ask for!
