Comfortable, Clean, Pleasant
It's a little small. Don't book if you like big rooms.
Perfect location! Helpfull and friendly staff in reception and other facilities! Beautifully designed and comfortable room! Clean bathroom!
Lots of smelly garbage just outside the entrance is the first sight of the hotel upon arrival and that gives a bad impression of the hotel! Constant noise outside the window from fans.. Plastic forks and nives at breakfast is not what someone expects at a hotel of this price range and is not consistent with the profile of the hotel as environmentaly friendly! Very poor breakfast buffe as well.
The size of the room and cupboard very small!
Fantastic location and friendly helpful staff. Breakfast included.
Although room very comfortable and has everything you need, space a bit small between beds especially if youre only staying over for two nights and dont want to unpack your suitcases. Little storage in room for suitcase even once it has been unpacked. In spite of this I will stay in this Best Western everytime I travel to New York. Thank you!
Everything was fantastic! Thank you to the staff who made our trip wonderful.
Maybe, some homemade pancakes for breakfast.
Clean, modern rooms in a very central and convenient location. Reception and Bellman (Lou) friendly and helpful. 5mins walk to penn station, and times square/broadway. Short walk to the start of the Highline.
problem with the keys not working - a number of times each of us had to get new keys set has they kept deactivating. rooms on the small side - not much space around the beds, but predict this to be a common problem across all similar hotels in NYC.
This hotel is well-located for midtown meetings, and also close to Grand Central and city transport. Recently remodeled. Nice, clean rooms (tiny, as always at this price point in NYC). The rooms are quiet and clean.
Great location for main tourist sights. Empire State building a couple of blocks away. 3 blocks from penn station if you are travelling by train. 5th ave and Macy's also right on doorstep. Broadway theatres 10-15mins away
Not much of a view but not too noisy - not a problem if you are just sleeping in the room. Rooms are small but has everything you need including a small coffee/tea maker
Very quiet room, excellent location. Plus for a breakfast being served and included in the room cost, but the room was very unpleasant
Staff of the hotel was either completely useless or super frienfly and helpful. Very big differences from day to day.
Location. If it were't for location, I would not have chosen here.
Not worth for the money. Tiny rooms. Crowded breakfast.
-Location. On 36th St between 5th Ave & 6th Ave. 10 min walk to Penn station -Room. New, clean, chic. though small was alright for one person. Toiletries provided. -Staff. Helpful -Breakfast included. Water and coffee provided at lobby
- 10 min walk to Penn station.
The room was at 2th floor. I could not sleep at all for 4 nights
- Staff was really friendly, helpful and always on a good mood. - Perfect location: not in the middle of the crowded and noisy Times Square, but a few blocks from it. You can get to most of the sightseeings walking. If you are looking for shopping, you can't get a better location.. Hotel is half block from 5th ave and 3 minutes walking from Macy's biggest store. - Hotel was very clean. - Breakfast: nothing to complain about. Fruits, yougurts, breads, eggs/omelet, fresh juices, etc. - Excellent wifi! Works really well in common areas and also inside the room.
Rooms are compact, but this is not a big issue. I shared a room with 3 more people and it worked fine for us.
Location was great, breakfast was good, rooms where awesome.
The staff signed me up on their rewards program and I never got the points for my second nights stay, plus they mislead me when telling me I would earn a free night stay when getting signed up.
close to business area ,breakfast nice ,room compact ,staff are warmly . .
no refrigerator ,no twin bed room .
staff was OK
small breakfast room
The dated rom
Modern look and feel. Clean and professional looking. Breakfast service was comprehensive. The room was just the right size and well appointed.
On the 17th floor, the equipment noise from the elevator made it a bit difficult to fall asleep. For a light sleeper, it could be a problem.
Adorei minha estadia no BW. I loved my stay at BW. The location is great, is close to the Empire State and in 10 minutes is already in Times Square. I did not think the size of the room was small, as I saw some reporting that, on the contrary, thought ideal. Everything well organized, clean and without any noise. I nominate and I'll be back for sure.
My time at best Western was all good
Wonderful hospitality. It is a compact building with a touch of stylish design for those who enjoy appearances. The rooms were very clean. The bathrooms were clean as well and have great shower heads. The large windows are a great touch to the rooms. It gives a more exciting design then just a typical hotel room.
There was nothing I didn't like, but if you want the advertised large windows in angle where you can lay in bed and look up, those are the very top floors.
Good location and nice room.
*The location was amazing. Walking distance to Penn Station, Times Square, multiple subway and bus routes and other points of interests. *The breakfast was good and the breakfast staff was friendly and attentive. *We appreciated the tea/coffee/water station in the lobby. *The room was very clean. Cleanliness and safety are two of my highest priorities when selecting and booking hotels.
*The rooms were small. I have stayed in other Midtown and Herald Square hotels with much larger rooms for the same or slightly lower price and comparable quality and cleanliness. *There was a very strong smell of natural gas on the C level and in the lobby during our first night. My travel companion alerted one of the maintenance staff members who was walking around the C level. The staff member dismissed the claim (although the odor was so strong that our noses were burning). He said that if there was a gas leak, then the alarms would have gone off. Interestingly enough, the next day the smell was gone. It appears that someone else reported the leak as well and it must have been taken care of. I would advise staff members to take all claims seriously and not to dismiss the concerns of a guest, especially regarding something that is potentially hazardous to everyone. *There was no microwave or refrigerator in the room.
