Really good location to the subway, awesome breakfast, nice and friendly staff and a nice view of Manhattan from the room!
Having to take the subway every time I went to Manhatten which was every day as it was a shopping trip I was on.
Staff assistance....we were in the city to help with funeral arrangements of family member. Eeryone was helpful, especially the manager, Mr. Peter Reyes. They are to be commended, signed, Serge Shewchuk, MD., PhD Potomac, Md
"Teeny pillows"? what eveer happened to regular size?? AND because we were two brothers and needed two beds, the room was TIGHT
Subway outside the door Complementry breakfast Location to Manhattan Comfortable bed, nice bathroom Fridge in the room
The only complaint we have is the size of the pillows! Way too small for adults, dont understand the thinking behind that.
breakfast Steam room gym good location
lack of some accessories like tooth brushes and slipper as needed. maybe free parking for guests too?
Convenient location Friendly staff
Wi-Fi, though free, is a bit finicky
I felt very comfortable and safe in this hotel. Great location for subway and supermarket. I would recommend it and stay again.
The key cards were always losing their charge.
Good bathroon Good bed
Too noisy air condition/heating Parking not included and not explicitly stated in the description of the hotel Business center was a closet
Room was not cleaned On Sunday 16th during all day long even when it was requested twice from front desk after my return at 14:00 indicating that I will return again at 16:00. on my second return to the hotel at 16:00 again the room was not clean. I have approached the supervisor who I met in the elevator explained that I wish my room to be cleaned by 17:00 when I return since I have 7 hours diffrence and I need to go to sleep. She responded that she can't promise anything but will do her best. At 18:00 the room was not cleaned and I had to look for the cleaning trolly, get some toilet paper and coffee for the morning and go to sleep. Not cleaning my room at reasonable time and not at all is only part of the problem, the state of mind that you can ignor client request, almost baging, done twice by 2 different personal is what should be looked at carefuly. This attitude is reflection of management culture, attitude and behavior to the same personal that is responsible in example to the hygine of our personal staff left at the room and bathroom, to the food hygine and not just for documenting and charging our bills.
Subway across the street
Small breakfast room
Staff was friendly and helpful Bed was really nice Subway station across the street, 35 mins to Manhattan
The bacon at breakfast. But my friends liked it.
1-Breakfast was good 2-Clean and new furniture 3-Quiet area
1-Additional charge for parking lot, which was not mentioned clearly in the internet reservation. 2-Rate is not stable
Very clean. Good breakfasts. Close to the subway stop.
A fire alarm went off and it took the staff over 40 minutes to get it turned off. One of the elevators went out, so I had to drag my luggage up & down stairs. It is not in Prospect Park as advertised. My room was right by the ice machine & entrance to the floor, so it was very loud.
Near to Subwaystation, Good breakfast
Our room in the basement, small breakfast room
50 feet from subway. Small grocery store next door. Clean and beds comfortable
Very small dining area for breakfast
Price, comfort, safety, great staff, and a decent breakfast.
Pillows a little smaller than usual.
Convenient, close to the train.
I was at the hotel this past weekend for a girls weekend. We LOVED this hotel. It was very clean and very comfortable. The staff was fantastic. So incredibly friendly and helpful. It's located right next to a subway stop for our visits to Manhattan.
Though it took some time to get to Manhattan by subway, this Brooklyn hotel cost at least half what a comparable hotel in Manhattan would have cost us. There is a subway stop just a few steps from the hotel's front entrance, a real bonus. Our room was very clean and nicely appointed. Despite being on a main thoroughfare, we had no trouble sleeping, thanks to both the very comfy bed and limited street noise.
When the hotel is full, it is hard to maneuver the breakfast room.
The hotel is fine. The people are friendly, the rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast is good. The surrounding area - Park Slopes, the Greenwood monumental cemetery - pleasant and worth seeing.
Not ideal if you have to go into Manhatten every day. You rely on the subway and the R and the N trains - usually referred to as the Rarely and the Never.
Cleanliness, staff incredibly nice and helpful, breakfast pretty good, location can't be beat for Prospect Park. Parking available for $22/ night. Our room was on the small side but ok. Bathroom large and nice.
Front room on 4th Ave had no drapes, so only a sheer curtain between guests and street, temperature was fine for us but others in our party were very cold as there was no heat, and only warm water in shower. Furniture too big for small room. Duvet very lumpy.
Overall it was ok
It was not fair that even I was there only for 3 hours they didn't wanna give me parking free I have to pay $22
The tube station was right outside the hotel door - fantastic!! Breakfast was a good selection buffet. There is a Peruvian restaurant next door which is good. Everything was a high standard. Would definitely recommend. Not far from Coney Island on the tube either - worth a visit too!
Staff was nice and it seemed pretty clean.
I got stuck in the elevator twice, when I pushed the call button the first time, no one responded. Second time, I didn't even bother. The rooms were very small, a little on the claustaphobic side for me. Location was not ideal for us, we ended up checking out the night before and staying at the Marriott in Time Square.
very nice staff, very clean, fairly quiet despite being on the ground floor; very comfortable bed; easy off street parking (for a fee).
the fire alarm, although the staff handled it very well; room location: essentially basement room on the street so had to keep curtain closed tight at all times to avoid people walking on the sidewalk looking right down into our room. The hotel was not full and I would have thought they would have given this room out last.
