We were visiting family in Rapid City and the hotel's indoor Water Park proved to very popular with the entire family. The hotel helped to make it a great weekend in Rapid City. The Sunday Brunch was also very good.

The size of the property is both a positive and a negative.

We loved the pool and the restaurant was great too, staff was awesome!

The floor was a little slippery when going back and forth between pools, wish there were "specials" at the Restaurant- kind of pricey...the bathroom needs a fan...

The water park was a nice feature. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

The front desk staff was extremely rude and uneducated on how their hotel is ran. The hot tub was dirty, it had a layer of filth floating in it and a ring of dirt around the edges, we had an issue with kids playing in the hall until 1am and the staff was unwilling to do anything about it. I have 3 kids from 1-9 and couldn't get them to sleep bc of this. Overall i would rate this hotel a 1 star!

I loved that the hotel had everything right there; pool, resturant, bar, casino, and nearby attractions (Mount Rushmore). The food was excellent and my son loved the pool. The staff was friendly and happy to be of any kind of assistance.

There were unsupervised children running all over the hotel till late in the night. Also when I took my son swimming later in the evening (8:30 pm) there were no towels available and the restroom was disgusting. There were many under-age children in the pool with no supervising adults. Last, the water in the jacuzzi looked dirty.

My wife and I had a great time chatting with Ken (the gentleman running the water slides). The room was very clean.

The room looked nothing like the pictuers, We booked a romantic suite. It was suppose to have a garden tub and french doors by the picture. It had neither. Just a regular standard tub.

We were traveling with our dog, a lab, and this hotel is always very welcoming without charging an extra fee for the dog. They also provide a room that is very convenient for letting the dog outside. They have an on sight bar and restaurant with great food.

The location right off the highway is ideal! Located next to many restaurants and shopping gave us great options with small children on where to eat and what to do. However, we stayed in the hotel, mostly due to the water features! Great value!

Some of the corridors were messy and the wind blew in a lot of debris around the doorways. I don't think that can be helped at times.

The only thing I liked was the location

The front desk staff was horrible. Kaleigh was the one "helping" me but Cindy was also unbelievably rude. Only one of the two rooms I reserved showed on Kaleigh's computer and she hardly did anything to help me. I had to call booking.com to get it resolved. She did not want to speak to the booking.com rep and had me relay her messages. She was taking call after call while she was supposed to be helping me. After I got the matter resolved, she tossed my our room keys on the counter and gave us no instructions on how to get to our rooms. She was so unprofessional. I intend on calling and complaining to the managers.

It is very close to restaurants and shopping.

Location, size of room and cleanliness

Beds were very comfortable! Loved the number of pillows! Air conditioning was bad. We were given a fan to help because maintenance said it read 55 degrees so there was nothing more to do. It was cooler in the hallways.

Location is a plus but remodel is needed.

Rooms and halls need to be updated. Hotel is showing the wear and tear from use and abuse. Rooms and hallways reflect what you would find in a $30-40 night third rate motel/hotel. Does not reflect well on normal best western standards. Will not stay there again till hotel is remodeled.
