The room allocatted was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was acceptable. Kanab is a quiet town with limited good eating opportunities.
Very noisy as room faced directly onto main highway and there was also heavy plant machinery operating across the road resulting in excessive noise and vibration. Half of the hotel was undergoing noisy and dusty refurbishment which made the spa virtually unuseable. Sound levels from other guests above and in hallway seemed excessive too.
Easy to find Easy to park and unload car right outside the door of our room. On highway 89 Restaurant nearby
Room was clean, bed very comfortable. We were in the "Pet friendly" building which had a nice grass area next to it--very important!
There were no problem areas at all. Entire experience was great!
No negatives here! One of the nicest, friendliest staffs I've ever encountered, comfortable bed, spacious shower/dressing area, good breakfast station, good fitness center, refreshment area (coffee, tea, water) in the evening.
Convienent place to stay between our home and grandchildren. Breakfast was nice .
At 2:30 AM a tow truck came into the parking lot near our room and unloaded a car and then loaded another car from the parking lot onto the bed of his truck. My wife and I heard the noise that a truck makes for a warning when backing up twice. We then thought we heard the dumping of gravel twice but it was chain of the unloading and loading of the cars . This went on for half an hour or more. I asked the front desk at checkout what noise was during the night.
Close to town, restaurants, etc
Staff was nice, room was clean and spacious, breakfast was nice.
The mattress was not firm enough to support the body.
Breakfastroom not big enough. Groups which made noise. Old furniture.
After reserving a room weeks in advance & requesting ground floor room. My wife and I (retired couple), were sent to the upper floor of a building in the back of the lot without an elevator, and no parking within a 1/2 a city block, while bus loads of younger people flood the bottom floors being rowdy half the night!
Clean, good location, nice view out of the window, relatively comfortable beds.
1 - no Wi-Fi !! It simply never worked! The front desk staff was helpless when I called and complained about wi-fi quality. 2 - When we arrived, the first thing we discovered the AC was not working. It was not blowing cold enough air and it would suddenly shot down. The front desk sent a technician and the unit was replaced within 1 hour. The only problem was that the replacement unit also would shot itself down down while on Low or High (not on Auto). The next day they were nice enough to replace that unit as well. However it did not solve the problem. The unit would only work in Auto mode (while I need it to be blowing constantly otherwise I have trouble sleeping). The front desk lady was aggressively pushing back telling that this is the only way it'll work, that I should keep it at 62 degrees setting not lower and not higher... Well, I don't think I'll be staying at this motel ever again. I do not like the idea of being told that to keep the AC settings the way I don't feel comfortable. Anyway, we ended up sleeping with the door open. 3. People are allowed to smoke (they have ashtrays all around)
This is a very well run Best Western. Everything seemed to run smoothly and as expected. The breakfast was top-notch every morning. We stayed at this property while volunteering at the nearby Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. Would highly recommend the Rocking V Café for dinner. . .just across the street!
Tour groups clogging up the breakfast area if you got there at the wrong tome.
Desk staff ordinary. Two night stay room not cleaned. When I asked staff if that was there norm when I checked out I was told it was not but the staff did not seem to care. Room entered by outside flight of stairs.
Breakfast is poor.
Noise from room above
Great location for seeing Zion and Bryce national parks. Breakfast staff was great and food was good.
The hotel was great.
Friendly staff, excellent location, oversized room, fitness center.
Enjoyed it all.
Very clean with a beautiful view! The laundry room was clean and easily accessible. The pool and hot tub were extremely clean and well maintained. Overall an excellent hotel!
Breakfast was not included but that wasn't a problem for us.
Rooms are outdated, smelling badly, furniture also ols school and needs renovation. Breakfas is a disaster - it was hudge line next to breakfast and people were pushing each other trying to get food and coffe....
A bit pricey for just a queen size room. It was the most we paid for any room in an 8 day trip.
Great friendly staff and very comfortable. Breakfast was GREAT!
Enjoyed my stay every thing as should be liked early breakfast
Our room was very spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was totally removed from the main room, much as a suite would be. Free breakfast was very nice.
The Red Hills was centrally located and convenient for our sight-seeing and dining purposes. The staff was well informed, accommodating and courteous.
The "Hot Tub" wasn't so hot...more like a cool jacuzzi. The pool area towel shelves were empty in the early evening. The shower's water temp controls were a bit touchy and extreme care needed to be taken to prevent scalding. The low flow shower head is understandable but a good hard shower is preferred after a long day...
