Everything beds not comfy. But would return.
The staff were very slow and not so polite. First night, I needed to stay in a long queue, in order to check in. My room was in second floor, no elevator and awful tall steps. There were also no one to help me with my luggages. On leaving date, I found out that I have forgotten my cell phone charger in my room when I checked out the room in the morning. I waited by my taxi till they bring it for me, and without exageration it took 30 mins! There were no respectful explanation about such a long delay from their side to as if it is totally normal! Better staff, could improve the hotel a lot!
Beds were a little uncomfortable
Comfortable and clean room. There is a coffee maker which takes a pod and makes good coffee. The hotel bar is small but the bartender was great fun and friendly. We ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant and it was good value with helpful and friendly staff. My husband left a pair of his favourite shoes behind, but with the help of the duty manager, Jessica and the admin lady, Desiree they were posted to my son's home before we left for the UK.
We really liked the hotel and staff. It was close to the things we wanted to see. Liked that we could park right in front of our room.
It rained the whole time we were there. No ones fault tho. Found the restaurant very pricey and they could have left more than one coffee pouch in the room.
Being overcharged , we stayed 2 different times, the first Nov.25 , 2 people, booked for $ 66.90, charged $134.16. the second ,Nov 30, 4 people booked for $116.00 charged $134.16
The staff was great, the pool was very warm, and the rooms were good.
The restaurant was probably the only thing that disappointed us. And, the gate to the pool 10 feet from our room didnt lock.
I meant to write this earlier but I remembered as I am booking another trip through booking.com! The staff was very friendly! The shuttle team know their stuff ( you have to be sure you communicate exact time you are leaving FYI) My room is always clean ! no bugs! I did not even hear the hwy and we were in the back right next to the fwy in the 500. I only noticed it about 10 in the morning as everyone was checking out. They had a washer and dryer 24 hours and ice buckets and when the ice was gone the front desk advised to just go to the restaurant! Very nice time I already told them I will be back to this hotel when I come back to san diego! Great price!
Just a little to close to the hills for my scary taste thinking of coyotes LOL . the shuttle could run a little longer then the last stop at 9:30 because san diego has lots to offer!
Excellent location to many of the sightseeing areas!
We were first put up in a room where there was obviously a Pot Fest because the room reeked of Cannibus. The second room the put us up in happen to have a broken microwave sitting at the front door. A grounds keeper was called and we were told it was funny because there are no microwaves in the rooms. Interesting. Walls are a bit thin for noises and the bathroom was shabby with missing tile and terrible chalk work. The room in general needs some work. If I hadn't purchased thru Expedia, we wouldn't have stayed.
I stayed at Best Western many times, all in different locations, because the name gives you an idea about the standard but this one is anything but the standard. The room smells dirty, bed too small, sheet, blanket and pillow cases were too old and worn out, breakfast not included.
Staying at the Seven Seas is almost as great as staying in your own home. My wife and I enjoy our stay every single time. Very friendly staff.
I didn't like that we couldn't stay longer.
The hotel was very affordable, the jacuzzi was very nice, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the cafe had delicious desserts.
They tried to charde for bottled water that did not exist in the room, in their resturant tried to charge for for coffee i did not order
First of all you only have one bartender which was Pamela poor thing she runs around with a chicken without a head she needs help very sweet but deserves a helper. The food is horrible are onion rings where frozen inside the guacamole had a horrible taste nice hotel but food is terrible. And the reception girls have no experience.
Beautiful lush grounds Proximity to public transport Availability of two hot tubs
Will not hesitate to stay there again when visiting San Diego. Nice motel, rooms are not spacious but still clean and tidy. Cofee maker, fridge and microvawe in the room. Wi-fi was good. Short drive to shopping and exploring the old city.
No complaints at all.
The well kept grounds, the restaurant, bar, friendly staff, and cleanliness were just some of the things we enjoyed. This turned out to have everything we needed and I didn't mention, the location is also very convenient for anyone visiting San Diego's activities.
Dated furniture if I have to find something, but certainly low on my list of things I "need" when staying at a hotel.
We spent the day at the zoo , came to check in around 7. Relaxed and went to Gaslamp Quarter for dinner around 9. Proximity to both was key to our satisfaction. The bed was comfortable - or perhaps we were both so tired to care.
Our smoke detector started beeping loudly when we returned from dinner. When we called the lobby they just recommended to take it off and remove the battery. Not sure if that was the best solution.
We came off a 15 hour flight so we were happy to relax in the hot tub and swim in the pool. Right off the highway and easy to find. Large parking lot.
Room was small but we only stayed 2 nights and were never in the room.
Price, pool, close to train and easy access to all San Diego has to offer.
Easy to hear highway from building facing the pool. Noise from folks in pool can be loud. Best to ask for building in the rear or property on second floor.
The pool was great
Staff I though was a bit snotty.
Heated pool. Friendly and professional staff. Shuttle service. A driver at best western named Steven was very professional and courteous. He made our experience very pleasant.
On site restaurant food quality was poor.
The location was ok, it is on the hotel corcle and by car it is convenient
Wifi was not working in the room, had to go out in front of the door Room was not so nice as in other best western
