The bed and how noisy it was. But I'm from the country so the being loud doesn't really count because u can't be quieter than the country in the city.
Free off-street parking Free hot breakfast Fluffy Towels Lots of lovely pillows Very nice staff Keurig in the room Starbucks a block away Good Location
I primarily liked the friendliness and helpfulness of the hotel staff. When I checked in I wanted to know how to get to Kauffman Stadium from the hotel. The lady (didn't get her name) googled the information for me even though it took her over 5 minutes to do so. The room and bed were very comfortable and very clean. There was also a pleasant garden and small patio at the rear of the hotel. I did not partake of the complimentary breakfasts so I can't comment on that. The hotel is also conveniently located near the Country Club Plaza - with their numerous restaurants and shops - about a 10-15 minute walk. Also conveniently located bus stops near the hotel that will take you downtown in 10 minutes or will connect you to other routes. Handy if you don't have a car. All in all a pleasant stay and I would recommend to others.
I had a room that fronted on Main St. and on occasion it was quite noisy. There was a group of young people Fri nite/Sat morning who were somewhat noisy at one of the tables in front of the hotel. Also a group of motorcyclists who revved up their bikes on Saturday morning; but at least they had the courtesy not to do it too early (about 8am). Other than that it wasn't too bad as far as noise went and as I had my earplugs in I had very relaxing sleeps. Rooms away from Main St. will be quieter.
Fairly close to the Plaza but relatively cheap Good but not exceptional overall hotel experience
The plaza is in walking distance, but it's a longer walk than I would have liked. The "hidden" areas of our room were less than immaculate. (dust bunnies and beer tabs were found behind the bed, etc.)
Location was handy to our event.
We reserved a room with two queen beds. Upon check in, we discover one king. The front desk said they would bring a roll away and be set up before we returned. The bed was there but no pillow, sheets or blanket. It took two calls and a visit to the front desk to obtain enough material to make the bed.
Close to the area we pplanned to spend time. Reasonable price.
Heating/cooling unit had some type of deodorizer/scent material in the vents. Had to pull them out and open up the room to get rid off the smell.
Breakfast was great. Wasn't expecting the eggs, sausage and hash browns (although they were over-done)--nice surprise.
The pillows were not to my husbands liking. And although I knew going in, my children would have preferred having a pool.
It would have been nice to have a balcony or patio attached to the room. There wasn't a pool or outdoor area where you could sit in the sun.
Horrible location. Seemed to be in a ghetto area, far away from the city centre. Did not feel safe there and was afraid for our car.
My room needed maintenance help. The towel rod was falling off the wall, TP holder was missing a screw, shower curtain rod was loose. Need some updating. Break fast was ok- staff more attentive on 2nd day.
Too many steps, just to get to front desk, out to pet area. If someone has any trouble with walking, hotel will be a challenge. I traveled with a pet, rooms for pets are on first floor, which required walking up/down six steps or so.
The beds and breakfast loved the waffle maker
no pool with the price should have one
location was ok, but need to let client know that you are not on the plaza
computers were down during check in and it took a long time.
Was very pleased and would stay here again.
We asked for and we're given a Sr. Citizen discount.
staff is excellent, breakfast, updated room, garden area
mold in bathroom, no toilet paper holder, located on a busy street, parking is a bit difficult, lobby is small and hard to move around in with luggage cart, elevators small.
Beds were very comfortable; wifi was working very well. Breakfast was good too. Good value for money.
Great location and value! The room was very clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable. The facilities are at the end of a renovation and the restrooms have been redone with high end finishes. The grounds around the hotel are beautifully landscaped, doesn't even seem like your in the middle of the city. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and one of the better I've experienced. Free parking was a great bonus. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in Kansas City!
No pool or spa facilities. The breakfast area was very small with very few tables for guests.
Eventually the staff gave us a room.
Arrived and were told didn't have reservation. Showed my printed documents and called booking. Com. We're eventually given a room. Not clean though. The location was terrible across the street froma liquor store. Parking was not safe. Left as soon as possible the next morning. Not for families
Patio, nice layout
Good situated. Only 15min to walk to the Plaza and 10min by car to Downtown. Jaccuzi ?. Day curtains. Friendy staff.
We missed a table, a desk, a chair, tissues and toiletpaper, it had no light bulbs in the reading lamps, the ballpoint was empty. Did we had bad luck?
The staff was outstanding! The facility was supposed to be closed during renovations but our online reservation went through anyway. Ramon at the front desk was very apologetic and went out of his way to ensure our room was ready anyway. It was clear this was a stressful situation, but everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming despite the craziness.
The staff at the Best Western Seville Plaza truly went out of their way to make the stay pleasant. Each and every staff member we interacted with from front desk to housekeeping had a smile on their face, great attitude and were all extremely friendly and helpful. Just excellent service!
This is an older property, and had a few of the normal issues that can crop up, such as noisy pipes and slow draining shower. Overall clean and comfortable accommodations.
Friendly staff, good breakfast.
Stain on side of toilet when we arrived. it was cleaned up day 2
Location. Walking distance to Country Club Plaza and Westmoreland. Very dog friendly
