we were there for our Son's wedding so we were in festive mode anyway. We also stayed at a hotel in Otay Ranch Town Center which was much closer to all of the Wedding activities and Wedding. Lots of good places to eat and things to do there. We like the Rambler because it is more centrally located to all of the San Diego area and is really easy to get in and out of. We prefer to stay at Hotels that are not the homogenous chain type and that have a more local flavor which The Rambler certainly has. We look forward to our next stay at the Rambler. I loved everything around, wish we've stayed longer but what a comfortable hotel for the little hours we were in it, definitely going back soon! It had a lot of places nearby to check out plus the border being near by is definitely a plus!

The bathroom is infested with cucarachas / 🪳 roaches They were everywhere on top of the sink and on my tooth brush I had to trowed it away The complete bathroom had an horrible smell I asked for a king size bed and I got a queen size Not a single chair to sit on There was no comforter ! Horrible experience, first of all at checkin the credit card machine wasn’t working so the employee send me to the nearest gas station to get cash from an ATM. After I did that we went to our room and as soon as we open the door we notice water on the flood and the room smelled funny. The AC unit was leaking. The bathroom door don’t have a handle nor a lock, just a freaking whole where the handle goes. There was also a water Roach on the bathroom wall. After all that I honestly couldn’t stay there any longer and we ended up leaving after paying $80 dollars for the night.AAnonymous

Also it’s very close to everything we went to stay for Sesame place and it was pretty close so was the mall restaurants stores and gas stations. Staff was very quick to respond, friendly and helpful

I saw a cross dresser leaving hotel 1 morning and on last night saw a tramp that didnt belong in parking lot and sure enough PD showed up and arreated him. The room was spacious and clean and the customer service was excellent. The location was perfect for Chula Vista as it was near plenty of restaurants at a walking distance and the freeway.
