Best Western Plus St. Charles Inn    

The staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to please their guests.

No pool and breakfast was terrible.

Location for older traveller was fabulous. caught trolley into city every day going past those beautiful homes. Close enough to be able to go into city ( half hour) but far enough out away from craziness of bourbon st. Mollie moved us into another room without any qualms after I queried first room being above outside aircons. Really good breakfast. All in all a really nice stay.

Location on the streetcar route made it easy to access city. Car parking was good and secure. Staff was quite accommodating.

It was clean and in a good neighborhood and location. Quieter than the french quarter

I was a little disappointed because reviews were so good. Reception was really nothing special. Rooms were ok but too much money. The breakfast was good tho.

Great location. The room was big and clean and well decorated. Bed was out of this world. Breakfast in the morning was generous and delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Noise. Can hear street noise and sounds in the hall. Tiniest American elevator I've ever seen.

It was run down-needs repainting, new drapery,etc. Our room was dirty, the bed linens had stains on them--and the hotel smelled of pine sol to try and make it seem clean. The only good thing about the Best Western was free gated parking. We thought it would be comparable to a Hampton Inn (we tried to stay there-but no vacancies--a good moderately price hotel that we can count on) but they had no vacancies.We will never stay at a Best Western again.

Lacey at the front desk on check in was amazing and very nice. She was very efficient at checking us in, very knowledgeable about the area and was a huge help with helping us to find parking late at night. The housekeeping was very friendly and helpful when we had difficulty with the in closet safe. Very friendly and efficient check out. Good location on the St Charles streetcar line, short walk to the stop.

Safe installed incorrectly causing the closet door to prevent the safe door from opening all the way. Made it very difficult to put laptop in safe but we appreciate the safe large enough for a standard laptop.

The hotel was in a very nice section of New Orleans. Very convenient to leave the car in the secure parking lot while we visited the city. The street car stopped in front of the hotel. Free parking was a great plus.

It would have been nice to have additional seating in the room. There was room for a love seat or small sofa, but there was just one easy chair.

Greatly placed in Garden District. Nice people and nice room, but no view. Family friendly. Easy to take the streetcar to French Quarter. We would love to stay here again.

The room was right next to outdoor ventilators, which made a noisy night...

The location was amazing. I cannot describe how perfect it was. The French Quarter was a perfect distance and so were our friends that we came to see. They even told us that we were in a perfect spot and not in the big crowded area and that we chose a good place to stay! I also really liked how there was a gate that had to be open by someone who was staying at the hotel and you could leave your car there. It made me feel more comfortable about leaving my car there while I was out with friends, unlike if it were in an open area. It was better because I had never been to New Orleans before and did not know what to expect!

The only thing I did not like was in the room there was a ton of dust built up in the air conditioner that it got blown out onto the floor. Also the water sprinkler thing on the ceiling had a ton of dust too and it was so built up that it was kind of disgusting. That was the only I disliked.

There was no kettle in the room, so tea made through the coffee maker tasted of coffee. Even worse for a hotel charging $150 per night was breakfast served on plastic plates with plastic cutlery - definitely not eco friendly.

The location in the Garden district is perfect with the streetcar stop in front of the hotel. Hotel is very good with breakfast included. We have a king room on the ST Charles Ave which is noisy. Very friendly hotel staff which provide us all necessary city info.
