Did not receive the room showed in pictures.
The office staff was easy to work with and willing to move rooms due to uncleanliness.
The renovation process made the facility uncomfortable and a feeling of unsafe.
The night desk clerk was so helpful and nice. This hotel is very convenient to Opryland Hotel and surrounding attractions; just right down the street. The room was decent and appeared clean.
Seemed to be going through some renovations. At one point we heard hammering next door, but it did stop before bedtime. Some pictures/décor were noticeably missing and there was no living room furniture (couch, chair) as stated in the room description. The sitting area had only a desk on one wall and a table on the other. Also, there was no Wi-Fi or it just didn't work while we were there.
staff did not know what rooms people were in and had us and them knocking on 4 different room doors at midnight.
Convenience to Opryland.
Upon arrival in our room, something seemed amiss. I had reserved a whirlpool suite and it was less than that. Yes, the whirlpool bath was awesome. However, there was no couch in the "living area" section of the room. I was told they were remodeling, but only after asking if there was supposed to be a couch in the room. Very disappointed for the cost of staying a week.
The rooms were spacious, and breakfast was good.
We could not get our Keurig to work. When we called to the front desk for help, she seemed to be extremely aggravated being required to help us. She never offered to come up to our room or bring us another coffee maker. When we asked for "creamer" from housekeeping, and she couldn't understand so kept him handing us tissue.
Wifi ..towels...wanted smoking room
Staff was not knowledgeable regarding room types. Was put in Presidential Suite - what a joke. Room was filthy. Had spa tub could not utilize due to lack of water pressure. Shower had mold. Furniture was broke down. Would never stay here again. Is in need of major upgrades.
The room we had was more than I expected...it was huge! We had a king size bed in a suite that came with a jacuzzi. We also had a refridgerator and microwave and 2 TV's. I could live in this place!! Also breakfast was served every morning and it was awesome...I highly recommend this place to everyone!!
The hvac didn't work - wouldn't shut off or cycle. You either froze or sweated.
Large Rooms Great Location Friendly Staff
Rooms are being remodeled so the sitting area in our room was missing the couch and paintings on wall.
Young Spanish lady at desk very nice, brought tea bags up to room, location good.
Not big enough for a suite, no where to sit (lounge)no pictures on wall, breakfast staff unfriendly, slim supply for breakfast.
Location was good.
Our online checkin was fine. But we requested one bed on high floor. Placed in a room with double beds and 4th floor. There were no pictures on wall, dresser had 2 drawers that you could see in( open), no couch or chairs, no bedspread, mattress was lumpy and slanted downward toward headboard, and room was cold when we arrived. Breakfast was not replenished well. Staff not too friendly. We asked about the room conditions, desk clerk said they were renovating. We were not aware of this and could not cancel reservation. We were ready to leave and lose our money. Will never stay here again or recommend this hotel.
Convenient location, accommodating staff, good breakfast. Clean.
Beds were not to comfortable and a little lumpy.
All the pictures were missing from the walls but the hardware was still there. Thought it was a bit tacky.
Convenient location to major highway connections .
Almost Everything!!!! Bill was very helpful!! Thank you!!
Wish there had been a comfy chair in the room! We did not partake in the free breakfast either morning because room was over-crowded probably due to it being the Christmas Holidays.
It was in a pretty good location with easy access to the things we were in Nashville for.
The hotel is under remodeling. Not all the furnishings were in the room. No chair or seatings for guests, even though it is called a suite. The first room we were assigned to had no electricity. While trying to find lighting, the door closed on my right hand and bruised and cut it. It was bleeding really bad when I went to the lobby to report no electricity and to get assigned to another room. They gave me a bandaid but showed little other concern. When we checked out, I asked for my receipt. They said it would be emailed to me. I never received a receipt. I have no idea how much they charged to my room. With the rooms not being complete and fully furnished, I feel we were overcharged for the room rate. We have no plans to stay there again.
One mile from local attractions.
My parents gave me this trip for my birthday. The three of us planned to go to the Grand Ole Opry and we're excited about the trip. Mom had a terrible call the night befor my birthday and was airlifted to a specialty hospital for brain injuries, she died two days later. I called the hotel and explained what had happened, but was told that "Booking.com" would have to request a refund or change to a later date. I contacted them, and was told that they would request a refund for me. A couple of days later I received an email stating that Best Western would not accommodate me. Our trip was a week from mom's injury, so they did have several days notice. All of our other destinations granted a refund with no problem, and the Oprey even sent us a condolence card. I couldn't believe how heartless they were.
The staff & cleanliness.
Only chair was one for the desk. No chair for rest or reading. Light bulb missing in one lamp.
Quiet and good beds even if they were short-sheeted. And practically no towels for two people.
No kidding. The room we stayed in had no lights in the bedroom. There was two canister ceiling lights in the ceiling and one floor lamp by the window. No other lights in the bedroom whatsoever! The breakfast was the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel offering a free Continental morning meal. They put the dried pre-cooked oatmeal in the cereal containers. People thought it was granola and put it on yogurt before realizing the truth.
THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE FOR THE AMOUNT OF SPACE, KITCHEN , SAFE AND FREE PARKING. WE HAD A CAR -NASHVILLE HAS VERY GOOD SIGNAGE- IT WORKED GREAT FOR US.
WOULD HAVE PREFERRED TO BE DOWNTOWN WITH FREE PARKING - BUT WAY OUT OF OUR BUDGET.
Was convenient to airport, Opry Mills, gas station. There was construction going on but didnt impact us any.
Had booked and paid for King room, was given a room with twin beds. Ah well, slept like a log anyway so all good.
1. The heating & AC vent in bathroom of unit 523 was covered with lint - I cleaned it to keep lint from being forced into the bathroom. 2. No complementary newspaper was available 3. Remodeling was taking place on the floor of our room - paint scraping on floors - hallway was not clean 4. Unfriendly reception by staff 5. Breakfast room was not attended - food items were not replaced when depleted 6. My reservation was not on file even though I presented your staff with the printout letter which included your confirmation number 7. I've stayed at Best Western more than any other hotel during my travels. This was my most disappointing stay.
