Location of the hotel very convenient onSunset Strip, just opposite stop for hop on hop off bus. Nice breakfast. Rooms big and good beds.

I travelled to LA with my daughter, for our first holiday to the USA. From the time that we arrived at the hotel, we had a wonderful experience. Our room was ready early in the morning as soon as we arrived, which was an unexpected and generous surprise. The young lady who greeted us to check in was lovely, helpful and proffesional. Throughout the time of our stay, all staff were excellent. The hotel was well situated, and faultless. My daughter considered our stay there as the best part of our holiday! I congratulate all of the staff.

Nice breakfast included, very good location, parking costs $16 each 24h, the other hotels can cost $36, and it was one of the points to choose it

Room was extremely close and stuffy with no air circulation....AC was of no help as it did not cool the room off....

Location on Sunset Strip was excellent. Good choice of breakfast items.Spacious room.

Reception staff a little impersonal (but not rude) - perhaps typical of a big hotel chain.

The privacy and the comfort of the room

Landscape was very pretty. Bathroom was large and clean. Carpet was clean in bedroom. Bed was comfortable. Sheets were clean. Appreciated having microwave and refrigerator. Breakfast was good. Housekeeping staff and cook were friendly. The desk clerk that was there when we checked out was friendly. Great having taxis and resturants so close.

Most of the desk clerks were not friendly. Only one was friendly, and that was the morning we checked out.

No bar or restaurant. Breakfast served but on paper plates, cups and plastic cutlery.

Central location and the room was well-furnished, and well looked after.

Reception.The fact that they had my credit card number for six weeks. When we were staying there there were at least 4 fraudulent or mistaken! Claims on the card. I will be writing to them and asking for the number of the local police to investigate.

Staff attitude was not very friendly, no offer of help with luggage. Breakfast was poor. On day of checking out we needed to leave at 5am we asked if it was possible to have some breakfast either b4 we left or to take with us; we were told tea/ coffee was available but no food, however the breakfast was still charged for.

Hotel staff were very, very pleasant. Room was very clean and comfortable and quiet.

Bath room door needed to be non auto closing type door to allow air flow into bath during shower use. Fan did not control build up of humidity in bath and made it tough to use bath after showering, I.E. make up application.

Staff really needed a lot of prompting when we asked for assistance Our room access required several stairways and no elevator and no one offered to help with our luggage. Around our room was VERY noisy from early in the morning

We loved the overall european feel of the building, the privacy of our room and patio, and the breakfast was top-notch.

We didn't like toting all of our luggage up/down stairs. I wish there had been an elevator to our room floor or for the price we paid a bellhop at our disposal. Also, there was not enough room in the breakfast hall to accomadate all the guests. We found the tiny little sign much later in our stay indicating there was room upstairs. That was better but still awkward to wait for the elevator with hands full of plates etc, since there weren't enough dinner trays.

Location was fabulous. Even with the 3 competing hotels/clubs next door; we never were disturbed by noise. We were just one block from House of Blues, which the police and ambulance were at both nights we were there (St Patrick Day weekend) and we never would have known they were there if we hadn't walked by. Bathroom was huge and parking was reasonable in comparisons with other hotels.

I understand this was an older establishment, but the Heating and Cooling unit woke me every time it kicked on the first night. We did without the 2nd night. It was in the 40' and 50's so we didn't need either (heat or air). The mattress was firmer than I was used to. My husband had no complaints.

Location is great. Accommodation very comfortable. Parking lot excellent - 16$ per day is not too expensive when compared to other hotels in the region. Breakfast is good. Nice atmosphere with a view to la.

The price could have been a bit lower.

The rooms were spacious and the pool area was nice.

The fact that my TV didn't work and that the staff came knocking on my door twice to finish cleaning the bathroom after I had checked in around 5 p.m.

Well really enjoyed our stay.. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay again... In fact we did end up staying there twice while in America. We enjoyed the location and accommodation so much we came back a 2nd time before we left America. Thanks so much guys!!!
