The room was very clean and it was so nice to have a refrigerator and microwave. Location was perfect for us. We had easy access to good restaurants, a convenience shop, and of course the metro line. Front desk staff was genuine and helpful. didn't like the layout of the room in the the head of the bed was right next to the bathroom.. Having the bed on the other side of the wall would have been perfect.

It was right in the city, great food around the hotel, and really close to where I needed to work at. The air could not be changed in my room so it stayed a little cooler than what I liked. Also the toilet ran the whole time very quietly in the background.

Where do I begin, the parking is ridiculous. The parking lot does not have enough spaces for all the guests to park. The heater was incredibly noisy. The front desk called our room at midnight, while we were sleeping to inform us that there had been complaints that we were being too loud, when in fact it was the apartments across the way that were causing all the noise. When I brought it to the attention of the staff the next morning how unacceptable it was to call us with out checking it out themselves first, they insisted that they did check it out and " oh we must gave made a mistake" After the phone call it took my mom ad I at least an hour to fall back asleep after being startled out of a sound sleep. Absolutely ridiculous , I would never say there again,

The value and quaint, classic feeling the hotel has. Free wi fi and breakfast! Close to public transportation. My room was very cozy. It was very far from downtown. Dining area is small.

The cleanness of the rooms. To be honest, it looked like a motel from the outside when we arrived at night. I was a bit skeptical, but the rooms are not what you might expect at all! They were reasonably spacious, had every in-room utility you'd want, and was super clean! And the front desk staff were really nice and cooperative. I wish they had small pin-coded safes in the rooms. The rooms where right in front of the road so you'd hear cars coming in and out at night.

The room was extremely noisy and cold due to a defect heating unit. The following day we had to move to a different room which was quieter. The following morning my children had strange bits over their bodies, probably bed bugs.

The location was near a Train (t) stop and near Boston University where I attended a Parents Weekend for students who go to the school. The rooms were dark and dingy. There was no desk or chairs to sit or do work on your computer. Also, there was no pool or exercise room. Room was good for sleeping, but not designed for comfort.

Not much. There were enough pillows and the room was plenty warm. Room shabby for the price (even though I understand Boston is entitled to charge an arm and a leg for cheap motel accommodations).

Room was unbearably hot with no way to adjust heat. Heat in bathroom was on full blast in October. Window only opened a crack and when asked for a simple fan the staff just said that building is hot and never provided the fan. They could have cared less. Dated and overpriced is about what you can expect.

There was a lady whose name was Olevia. She was very helpful. My credit card did n't work the first night and they let stay in which was quite nice. Just be carefull when you get the bill. Mine was over charged with different prices from what I booked and of course later they changed it. Now that I am back I can see that there are extra charges in the bill for Video renting which I never used. This actually doesn't look good if you are in a business travel. There is also another issue with a lady in reception one night. I booked the room for 8 nights and she told me in their system it's only 7 nights and I have to empty the room in the morning. After a fight and forwarding the booking, finally I was able to stay in the room. The location is very far. The breakfast is poor and usally there is a queue.

My wife and I wanted a moderately priced hotel in the Brookline area of Boston and thought we had found the ideal place. This is a motel type of hotel where you can park your car right in front of the room. This suited us perfectly and we appreciated the fact that parking is free. And we also like the Best Western chain because of the no-fuss free Wi- Fi and the no-surprise simple but usually comfortable accommodation. The staff was friendly and helpful as we expected, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the hotel exterior was nice and well maintained. A big plus is that the hotel is within walking distance of the Bamboo Thai Restaurant where I had my most delicious curry dish ever called Masaman Chicken Curry. If you have a chance, try it; it is a culinary delight at a very good price. Unfortunately, the plusses of this hotel are more than balanced out by the minuses. If you don’t sleep well in a hotel, you will not want to return despite the good points. Here the problem was that we could not control the temperature of the room and the hotel staff/maintenance were unable to do anything about it. There is a heating/AC/ventilation unit in the room but, for some strange reason, hotel management turn off the ac to all the rooms at night so our room was way too hot to sleep. To make matters worse, the window could not be opened more than a few inches wide (for security reasons) and a baseboard heater in the bathroom could not be turned off. The inside of the room is rather drab and the furniture is dismal or non-existent. For example, we would have liked to have a table in the room to eat or to work on the laptop, but there was no table whatsoever. Lighting was very poor; and for some strange reason, the rod in the closet to hang your clothes was at knee level, which made it awkward to hang anything longer than a T-shirt. Self- served free breakfast is fine, but spoiled by the fact that you have to eat it out of paper plates with plastic utensils.

The staff helped to book me a car service in the morning. The breakfast was good. The front desk person wasn't there when I came to check in and had to wait for 15 minutes to check in. The room had a strange smell like cat urine. The hotel was nowhere near Boston University and so had to take a car service. Also had to walk to dinner at night which I didn't want to do. Rate was too high for what this facility is.

Location very quiet and looks nice. Stuff was polite but unnecessary after midnight call to confirm late morning taxi request woke us up and ruined our sleep.Breakfast was ok. It's fine to stay though I would ask for the second floor just in case. Stuff member called and woke us up after midnight to confirm a taxi request and direction though request was done about 8p.M. and confirmed/specified on the spot. We were unfortunate enough that persons on the second floor were up at about 5 A.M. and their floor squeaked so badly that prevented us from sleeping. It was extremely frustrating. So if you choose to stay at this place ask for second floor just in case.

The carpet in our room was filthy. My socks were black after walking just a few minutes on it. The staff was very helpful and the Boston t was close by. There was no gluten free cereal available. Usually places have Rice Krispies, but this breakfast room had on cereals with wheat. I cannot eat wheat.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff at reception were all very helpful. It was my first visit to Boston and they gave me information about getting around the city and made me feel welcome. I liked the facility for getting tea or coffee at any time.
