Comfort . IN room coffee
Breakfast was below standard.
Large screen tv, in room coffee
This is a motel with each room opening to the outside. On a Monday evening there was no parking available and many people hanging around the parking lot after dark.
Nice staff. Reasonable breakfast.
The bathroom was cold, though the room was warm. There was no way to heat up the bathroom.
We had a clean room and good breakfast.
New Years Eve reservation was great .Easy access to the T ...free parking a plus plus
Spiders in the sink and in the room did not give us a comfortable feeling. Our last evening there, the management must have been installing some equipment or renovating the room upstairs - it was extremely loud. Room was in need of renovation. Location was good but not worth the money.
The free breakfast, although the same every day, was plentiful and included hot items. Staff at reception desk and the breakfast room were very pleasant and helpful.
Strange construction, alot of areas of steps to go up then down then up again, rail on steps was icy in the morning and surrounding the rooms on ground floor was an unsteady walk area. In general, getting in and out of rooms seemed a bit of a hazard
clean room, bed very comfortable, breakfast attendant very conscientious, breakfast very good, newspaper complimentary.
Too small breakfast place Squeaky floor in our room and in room above us (heard every movement of guy upstairs
Placed in university district Nearby GreenLine T Excellent breakfast Nice room, full set of amenities
Night staff unfriendly. Poor breakfast. Prices are extorsion. According to all the hotels in the city. Can't understand as the city is nothing special
Place is decent. Nothing else
AC have noise.
I love this hotel! Every thing is awesome!
Wifi was unstable.
Location The staff very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast - not a great variety of food, but adequate.
Very helpful staff. Comfortable room
The rooms were overheated and the a/c did not work. Slept with the window open. When at the front desk at almost midnight changing room keys, the clerk took a call from someone wanting to make a reservation and he said he could not do it, to call back later.
Moved from one overheated room to another....and they reduced the bill by half. Almost made it right....but would have rather had a comfortable night sleep. Good proximity to family living nearby.
Traffic noise on street because of loose manhole cover.
friendly people who knew the community
Facility seems dated. Also, I inadvertently was able to open someone else’s hotel room with my card key. I arrived there late at night and was tired. When I opened the door, there was someone sleeping in the room. I quickly closed the door and found the correct room. I brought up to the person at the front desk. But this should not have happened at all, I should not have been able to open someone else's room with my card key.
Price, location. Able to get to Copley Square area without switching trains. Could take Logan Express bus to Copley Sq, then Green line to hotel
dated place but clean.....bathroom small but doable...
no real variety of local dining opportunities
Saw a rat running along the hotel room pathway. Enough said...
The value just wasn't there. For $262.00 a night (including taxes) I would expect more. Perhaps that's a decent weekend rate for a fall weekend night in Boston. If it is, I'll be staying home in the future.
The room was adequate, nothing special. It was not spacious, but it was clean. The television was a large flat screen and it was quiet. The bed was comfortable.
Hotel was overbooked. We made it clear by booking that we would be late, still our room was sold bedire we coudl arrive, so we had to sleep 4 in a 2 person room the first night. This was deducted from the bill. We were allright by that. Breakfast is served on paper and plastic which is not sustainable and bad for the environment. Parking spaces are not sufficient for late arrivals although we mentioned needing one it is first come, first serve.
Staff was helpfull Breakfast was good with much options. Easy acess to Boston tube Once we had the right room all was fine
There was a very loud mechanical noise in our room. I tried to mask it with the AC/heating unit. It was cold in the room so I turned up the heat only to find out in the morning that they had turned the heat off! Cold and noisy--not a great place to sleep. Very expensive for what we got and it is quite far from the city.
Breakfast was good. The grounds are nice looking.
For me, the mattress and pillows were much too soft so I didn't sleep well... When coming home, the hill back to the hotel seemed steeper than coming down! ... Breakfast could have included some sliced cheeses or cottage cheese for the vegetarians... the hotel is on a one-way street so if you bypassed it or needed to go somewhere, you might have to circle around to find it again.... the AC tended to be too cold; it was hard to find a medium setting that satisfied both of us.
Not too far off I-90 for arrival or departure. Very clean hotel; the room smelled clean when we arrived. Breakfast was included. It was only a short walk downhill to pick up the T and you could get the train pass and have it re-loaded at the 7-Eleven on the corner across from the T stop... this was one of very few hotels to include on-premises parking; many other places had you give your keys to a valet and then you'd have to wait for your car if you wanted it. (But take the T into Boston as street parking is almost nonexistent or truly exorbitant if you find a spot or a lot to park in!).. the ride on the T to Fenway Park from here was about 8-10 minutes long and trains run both ways all day.. the staff was very helpful in giving directions and general advice... this was also one of the most affordable hotels in the area!
Outside was extremely hilly, steep ! Kind of scary ! If you can park on flat, ok. Not good if you have mobility issues !
Inside was clean & quiet
Close location to the T, air con, wifi.
