dated place but clean.....bathroom small but doable...
no real variety of local dining opportunities
Saw a rat running along the hotel room pathway. Enough said...
Staff was helpfull Breakfast was good with much options. Easy acess to Boston tube Once we had the right room all was fine
Hotel was overbooked. We made it clear by booking that we would be late, still our room was sold bedire we coudl arrive, so we had to sleep 4 in a 2 person room the first night. This was deducted from the bill. We were allright by that. Breakfast is served on paper and plastic which is not sustainable and bad for the environment. Parking spaces are not sufficient for late arrivals although we mentioned needing one it is first come, first serve.
Breakfast was good. The grounds are nice looking.
There was a very loud mechanical noise in our room. I tried to mask it with the AC/heating unit. It was cold in the room so I turned up the heat only to find out in the morning that they had turned the heat off! Cold and noisy--not a great place to sleep. Very expensive for what we got and it is quite far from the city.
Not too far off I-90 for arrival or departure. Very clean hotel; the room smelled clean when we arrived. Breakfast was included. It was only a short walk downhill to pick up the T and you could get the train pass and have it re-loaded at the 7-Eleven on the corner across from the T stop... this was one of very few hotels to include on-premises parking; many other places had you give your keys to a valet and then you'd have to wait for your car if you wanted it. (But take the T into Boston as street parking is almost nonexistent or truly exorbitant if you find a spot or a lot to park in!).. the ride on the T to Fenway Park from here was about 8-10 minutes long and trains run both ways all day.. the staff was very helpful in giving directions and general advice... this was also one of the most affordable hotels in the area!
For me, the mattress and pillows were much too soft so I didn't sleep well... When coming home, the hill back to the hotel seemed steeper than coming down! ... Breakfast could have included some sliced cheeses or cottage cheese for the vegetarians... the hotel is on a one-way street so if you bypassed it or needed to go somewhere, you might have to circle around to find it again.... the AC tended to be too cold; it was hard to find a medium setting that satisfied both of us.
Inside was clean & quiet
Outside was extremely hilly, steep ! Kind of scary ! If you can park on flat, ok. Not good if you have mobility issues !
Close location to the T, air con, wifi.
The staff was really friendly and helpful with everything.
The breakfast really wasn't acceptable to us, especially considering the price of the hotel. Buffet with paper/plastic cutlery and dishes, hardly any option for someone who does not feel like going into a sugar coma right at the beginning of the day. "Omelet" and "bacon" available, but both microwaved. Not enough space in the breakfast room, so we had to wait a bit. The rooms are arranged 'motel-style' with an individual entrance from outside for every room.
Location is great. Breakfast is ok. Be prepared to walk on hills. Clean.
The breakfast room was a little crowded, especially when the families descended on it. It's ok if you get there early enough.
Free parking, breakfast and friendly staff
The cost was ridiculous for a room with worn furniture and rugs.
A nice hotel 300 m away from the subway station (it still takes a good half an hour ride to get to the city centre, though), ample free parking, breakfast included (it pays to be early or you may have to wait for an empty table), friendly staff.
Friendly reception Closeness to Boston College
Hotel was in a safe and quite neighborhood
A nice hotel
The staff was very helpfull and nice
The room next door was very loud very hard to relax
The staff was amazing. They were very helpful and offered many suggestions.
parking was very difficult.
Proximity to T Train and Fenway Price was reasonable Friendly staff, cleanliness
A/C was not working effectively or efficiently and it was a warm evening. Instead of just saying that the units are old and are in the process of being replaced, front desk clerk made a show of attempting to fix and insisting it was "better now".
breakfast, cleanliness, location
to many noise from the outside airconditioning
We were attending a concert at Fenway and the location and included parking made this a great deal!
Proximity to Harvard campus.
AC/Heating system not working. Called for help but was not resolved so a portable space heater was used for the first night. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom so after shower the room was stuffy.
This is not even caled a mote.
The breakfast was good, with many options. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Air conditioning not working it was hot in the room... But have a great time
I was given a late check out. Doors opening outside the yard. Accessibility to restaurants, train station and Whole Foods. Best hotel room coffee.
I was checked in an accessible room, I didn't like the bathroom of accessible rooms. electrical socket covers kept moving. Coffee maker didn't have its designated socket.
