Location was close to major tourist attractions, such as Fishermen's Wharf, Lombard Street. Also located within Japantown, which has an interesting array of Asian restaurants at affordable prices. Room was decently sized with 2 queen sized beds that were clean and comfortable. We like the bay window within each room, as it was a cozy corner for reading. The reception was helpful, and was able to direct us to several good restaurants in the vicinity. There was also a cozy restaurant in the hotel which served a good breakfast menu. Hotel website stated that daily parking at $25 was available, and free wireless internet access was available in all rooms. Unfortunately, upon check in, we were told that the car park was full and directed to another hotel's car park which charged $16 per night and additional per entry and hourly charge during the day. We were also unable to access the wireless internet services, as the hotel reception told us that Apple products (Ipads, iphones and MacAir Book) were not compatible. The reception tried to help by moving us to another room that was adjacent to the one housing their modem. Unfortunately, that did not work either.

Design and decor was visually interesting.A Few blocks from Fillmore street with lots of stores, shops and dining options In any city parking can be a hassle. Being able to park under the hotel was nice but $25 plus tax is a bit pricey.

The room was a good size, comfortable and well equipped (balcony/ HBO, cable/good size TV/fridge) Friendly staff Handy location for both sides of town Easy access to city by bus - walkable on a good day Right in the middle of Japantown Great restaurants nearby Free wi-fi from room No free breakfast - food options in hotel restaurant were a bit expensive Internet in lobby was expensive to use ($4.95 for 20 minutes) Wi-fi was not accessible on my phone due to login screen not appearing properly

Great style and design friendly feel. Good location in Japantown too The building underneath the cool design and artwork is quite old and there's no hiding this. Noisy air conditioning unit was annoying.

Close location to Hospital and Japantown, All the Staff were very friendly and efficient, from the Front Desk to Housekeeping. Hotel was very clean and had an interesting theme. Had a small problem Logging-in to the free WIFI. Called the Front Desk and the problem was corrected straight away. Even with a large party checking in at the time, the woman at the other end of the phone took the time to reset the WIFI connection for me. OUTSTANDING! I didn't have more time to stay longer.

Room was clean, staff was friendly, safe area, cool art in rooms, and there was a decent amount of parking (on the street) around the hotel so we didn't have to pay the 25 dollar parking fee. Restraunt in hotel wasnt very good.

Nice interior and location. We were four people, each with a separate room. Two of our group of four woke up at 5 am because they burnt oil from the kitchen stank, leaving clothes and everything with a horrible smell, let alone sleepless guests. When we told the staff, there was no response. Would never consider staying there again.

The hotel is in an excellent location; very close to Fillmore street (lots of nice places to eat, drink and listen to music) Rooms are spacious (and if you like me are looking for a quiet room, then ask for on towards the courtyard instead of the street.) The hotel has a gym (though so small it hardly qualifies as a gym) Parking is good, though spaces are limited. When we stayed there the air condition was not working. (It didn’t get fixed during our 3 day stay) It was very hot few days in the room. We got a $40 discount, but I still think it is disappointing all things considered.

The air conditioning was not working - our room was stifling as a result and we had to sleep with the window open all night - only at check out did the desk clerk admit that they knew the ac was out of service but offered no rebate - the refrigerator in the room did not work properly either
