Staff was wonderful and room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!!
The room was spacious and had a nice fridge and microwave. Although we didn't use it, the whirlpool tub was a nice option.
The decor could use an update, the hotel seems to have a lot of unused space. Our room had double doors that opened to a public sitting area, the glass was only covered with curtains; it did not feel very private.
Comfortable bed. Fairly clean hotel.
20+ lady bugs in our room. Crumbs/dirt in chair. Very dated hotel - light fixtures, signs, make it feel like you're in Old Germany. No pool. Must use to be Victorian Inn because our binder in room had papers that said Victorian Inn, which would maybe explain the decor. Don't feel like it was worth $87.
The restaurant attached was decent.
Right when i walked in the room I couldn't believe that they charged as much as they do for such a poor quality room. Everything is really outdated, there were flies buzzing around and I had to program the tv to get some channels working. I figured if the internet was good I could just work and deal with it. While there was an excellent WiFi signal, there was no internet on the other end of it. I asked the front desk about it and he said he didn't know what was wrong, I asked if could get it going and he just stared at me. I was supposed to stay here 2 days, I didn't. Go to the other hotel in town. Close to the same price and it is clean, WiFi works, and the staff is friendly.
The television lost it's ability to scroll thru the digital channels. It had to be re-tuned once per night to enable this feature - otherwise the analogue stations were the only ones available.
It has a neat log cabin type feel to it and everything was fine
Everything was fine
Room was hot and noisy
The bed was comfortable. The lobby area looked nice.
The room smelled smokey. Everything was dusty.
I booked 2 rooms 1 for our friends. When I booked all they had was 1 with 2 queen beds & 1 king room. We were both given rooms with 2 queen beds and they were charged for a king room. Said they couldn't do anything because it was booked on line. Also bad parking because of construction. Had to walk a long ways to our rooms with two people that had walking and seeing problems
Location and breakfast. Location handy and quiet. Good breakfast selection.
Wi-Fi did not work for us at all. Facilities are clean but a bit dated and are undergoing total remodeling after building purchase from single hotel ownership, so i assume not yet up to Days Inn standards.
The people were great and very helpful
Musty smelling, security on the doors could,nt have kept a child out, the pool area was not welcoming at all.
The pillows were very lumpy and sheets were" pillie".The air conditioner ran constantly, did not ever shut off automatically, unless you turned it off manually. It seemed very damp in the room.Carpet felt damp to walk on.Smelt musty in the room. Both my husband and I coughed a lot after leaving there.
The air con. was very noisy and worked poorly. The service in the adjoining restaurant was poor.
Very nice. Good location. Friendly staff.
Window wouldn't open.
The hot tub in the room did not work properly and the pull put sofa was broke.
Cost and location
not the best internet, very few TV channels
air conditioning did not work
Had a suite. It was very nice, roomy, and good deal for the price.
Not much room in the breakfast area & very warm in there.
It was a good price and was decorated like a bed and breakfast.
The pool was kinda creepy with ceiling tiles broken and stained. The doors slam loud and that made it hard to sleep when others were opening doors and slamming them
The secludedness of our suite. Room size very decent.
We only had the jacuzzi. No shower! No shower curtain around the jacuzzi. Very uncomfortable. No game room which was listed online when booking.
Nice amenities. Resteraunt / bar on location was very nice as well.
Property is a little outdated. Could use a facelift.
noisy night with a group of volleyball players staying there
the curtains on the glass doors going to the pool didn't fully obstruct someone from looking in, the door handle fell off the inside of the main door (huge safety issue), the furniture was worn and ugly, the beds creaked/screeched every time you moved. The hotel is in need of a complete remodel.
we only stayed a few hours, so basically slept and took a shower. breakfast was good also
couldn't seem to regulate the heat in the room - even a WAY cool heat, it was was too hot
Maid service - helpful and pleasant. Front desk clerk at check in. Location - convenient and easy to find. Breakfast.
I booked a king suite 3 months in advance. It was important to my family that we stay in a suite because my son was competing in a championship swim meet and needed a separate bedroom with a closing door to go to sleep early while I was up later. It was also appealing to have a room with a spa tub. Two days before our arrival, we received a call from 'Jenny' that said our suite was not available. When I called her back, I asked if there were any suites available. She said no, pipes had burst at the hotel and all the suites were affected and unavailable. No choice but to accept a room with 2 queen beds as all the hotels in Hutchinson were sold out. While I was at the hotel, it was clear that the suites were in use as I was on the 2nd floor near the suites and could see guests come and go. I found out that only one suite was damaged from the pipes that burst. How was it decided that I would be the one to be rebooked? Our room was very cramped and did not have a fridge or microwave as expected. The male front desk clerk when I check in brought one to our room right away. Sunday morning I awoke late and did not have time to pack before heading to the swim meet. I asked for a late check out at 1 but the front desk clerk said the latest she could grant was 12. The meet ran later than expected and since I was an official, I could not leave. I arrived back at the front desk at 12:40 and encountered a front desk clerk (female, mid 20-30s, long, straight, blond hair) who was quite rude. She told me that I should have called and I explained the fact that I was officiating and she responded that they should have just taken all of my things out of the room because I was holding up maid service. At this, I did not respond but could not believe her rudeness. I left to clear my things out of the room and noticed that there were at least 4 open doors were guests had checked out and the rooms had not been cleaned.
