    continental breakfast

The pillows were very lumpy and sheets were" pillie".The air conditioner ran constantly, did not ever shut off automatically, unless you turned it off manually. It seemed very damp in the room.Carpet felt damp to walk on.Smelt musty in the room. Both my husband and I coughed a lot after leaving there.

Had a suite. It was very nice, roomy, and good deal for the price.

Not much room in the breakfast area & very warm in there.

It was a good price and was decorated like a bed and breakfast.

The pool was kinda creepy with ceiling tiles broken and stained. The doors slam loud and that made it hard to sleep when others were opening doors and slamming them

The secludedness of our suite. Room size very decent.

We only had the jacuzzi. No shower! No shower curtain around the jacuzzi. Very uncomfortable. No game room which was listed online when booking.

Nice amenities. Resteraunt / bar on location was very nice as well.

Property is a little outdated. Could use a facelift.

    great location

the curtains on the glass doors going to the pool didn't fully obstruct someone from looking in, the door handle fell off the inside of the main door (huge safety issue), the furniture was worn and ugly, the beds creaked/screeched every time you moved. The hotel is in need of a complete remodel.

Maid service - helpful and pleasant. Front desk clerk at check in. Location - convenient and easy to find. Breakfast.

I booked a king suite 3 months in advance. It was important to my family that we stay in a suite because my son was competing in a championship swim meet and needed a separate bedroom with a closing door to go to sleep early while I was up later. It was also appealing to have a room with a spa tub. Two days before our arrival, we received a call from 'Jenny' that said our suite was not available. When I called her back, I asked if there were any suites available. She said no, pipes had burst at the hotel and all the suites were affected and unavailable. No choice but to accept a room with 2 queen beds as all the hotels in Hutchinson were sold out. While I was at the hotel, it was clear that the suites were in use as I was on the 2nd floor near the suites and could see guests come and go. I found out that only one suite was damaged from the pipes that burst. How was it decided that I would be the one to be rebooked? Our room was very cramped and did not have a fridge or microwave as expected. The male front desk clerk when I check in brought one to our room right away. Sunday morning I awoke late and did not have time to pack before heading to the swim meet. I asked for a late check out at 1 but the front desk clerk said the latest she could grant was 12. The meet ran later than expected and since I was an official, I could not leave. I arrived back at the front desk at 12:40 and encountered a front desk clerk (female, mid 20-30s, long, straight, blond hair) who was quite rude. She told me that I should have called and I explained the fact that I was officiating and she responded that they should have just taken all of my things out of the room because I was holding up maid service. At this, I did not respond but could not believe her rudeness. I left to clear my things out of the room and noticed that there were at least 4 open doors were guests had checked out and the rooms had not been cleaned.

The hotel has a nice set-up but needs to be updated and remodeled.

The hotel was old and our beds were old. The bathroom faucet in the sink did not work properly. The door to our room would get stuck and not open.

It was exactly what we needed...a place to crash so we didn't have to get up super early for a swim meet. Kids loved the pool! They even let us bring our dog, last minute.

It was very dry. Static electricity everywhere when you touched anything.

Breakfast was free. Could not hear other guests from room.

Room was cold upon check-in. Heater was loud and obnoxious, did not provide a regulated temperature. Breakfast choices were unappealing- seriously, it was all carbs.

The staff was very willing to fit my needs. I ran into a few issues and needed to do some room changing which they made every effort to satisfy my requests. Also there were some technical difficulties on one of the rooms and the staff did what they could more than once to try to fix it. I appreciate their willingness to make my stay as good as it could be.
