Location close to Allen street and Delaware.
Ants in the bathroom. When we notified the staff we were told "they're just ants" and given no refund or apology. Hair dryer did not work, and there were little bits of plant burrs in my bed There was a different bug in the tub.
Everything : staff, room, breakfast I really loved my stay at this wonderful hotel
The staff was great- very friendly and helpful.
The vanity area was very small and the bathroom had no fan. In addition the rooms and especially the hallways had a strong musty smell (as if there had been some type of water damage). Also location was so-so. Not an area where you would want to be walking at night.
The staff was great, our room was very clean, furnishings were nice, and a decent breakfast.
Bathroom was a little getting by the shower door with the bathroom door closed.
Hot tub was great! TV was easy to operate and offered the right channels. Room card control of elevator access adds to security.
For a property of this size a bar and/or restaurant is a reasonable expectation.
The staff, from front desk to cleaning were courteous, helpful and proficient
The hotel is being renovated, the bed was not the greatest, and it was a bit pricey for what was being offered, it was graduation weekend so it was a sellers market.
Convenient, pleasant hotel
Quite expensive given limited facilities
We loved the location - mid way between downtown and Elmwood. The hotel seemed well cared for and clean. It is a well run basic hotel. Free newspapers were appreciated. Very friendly and helpful staff at the desk.
The breakfast was very average - the food was fine but I never have enjoyed plastic cutlery and paper plates and cups. Otherwise the hotel was we expected.
A nice size room
Low water pressure a bit high priced for the hotel chain
Very friendly staff.
Rooms are in need of an upgrade: wall paper peeling rug flooring is abominable bathrooms .. old fixtures, peeling wall paper; shower curtain rail coming off the wall, tub was such that my wife did not want to bathe in it. Is there not a Public Health Ordinance in Buffalo regarding the keeping of exotic birds or animals in a public area?
The staff was very accomodating ,helpful and pleasant. It was very refreshing since we have had a couple unfortunate experiences. A+ to the Best Western on Delaware.
