Best Inn Motel Salina    

Front office staff was very friendly! When we hadn't arrived by 6, she called to check if we were still coming. Room was clean, and bed was comfortable. Nice to have a fridge and microwave.

With no bedside lamps, overhead light was too bright. NEEDS bedside lamps! Also, no hangers were available to hang clothes. When we arrived there was no cold water in the bathroom. By morning it was working properly.

I thought the photos on the website were a little deceiving as far as space/updates were concerned.

The room itself is very small with a disproportional big bed and a single bare florescent light bulb on the ceiling..

The room was very comfortable and obviously well cleaned and cared for, which can be hard to find anymore. The price for our room was very reasonable and we would absolutely stay there again.

had a young gentlemen greet me at the counter and i dont think he knew what he was doing but was able to get key and checked in later

The room was clean and had a great fridge. Everything worked well. The price was great. Despite the comments on "didn't like" the staff were efficient and registered me quickly.

Some teenagers were having a party next to the lobby. One of them greeted me a bit abruptly before getting the official staff person. There was a large trailer and an ancient car parked in front of my room, so I had to carry luggage to my room from a few spaces away. And the lighting in the room consisted of a bare overhead bulb with no light next to the bed, so one had to get up in the dark and go to the wall to turn on a light.

Friendly Staff. Quiet location. Parking right in front of the room. Great value for money with respect to space of the room.

Bathroom was cold, with out any heat in it. Room could have been warmed sometime before guest arrival. More towels (depending upon # of guests in room)

Recently remodeled rooms for a great price

Several problems - sink drain almost completely plugged, towel rod falling apart, wad of hair in towel, no clothes hangers

It was clean and nicely decorated. Inexpensive but had all the amenities I wanted for this overnight stay as I passed through. The carpet was not sticky!!! I know that sounds funny, but at most motels that are in the lower price category the carpeting is almost always sticky... The owner was nice. I would rather patronize a family owned business than a chain.

Personally there are a few things that could make the room even better. A box of tissues would be nice, a cover on the overhead light would be nice, and perhaps a bedside lamp would be nice. However, not having those things would not keep me from returning if I ever need to spend the night in Salina again.

Very Clean. Thoughtful to have heavy curtain blocking parking lot lights. Good mattress, sheets and pillow. PLenty of accessible outlets. parking right in front of room. Didn't use microwave, mini-fridge and flat screen tv but appreciated their existence. A/C worked well. Great water pressure and hot water. Good desk chair.

Very comfortable room, loved the extra large TV remote.

Bare bones but had a fridge and microwave which some ritzier places do not. Took me a while to find the outlet in the bathroom and I would recommend painting the walls something other than drab white, just to liven the place up a bit. It makes everything look grey and silly next to the very bright and satiny bed spread:)

Very friendly staff, very comfortable bed, pet friendly, clean, easy parking, did I mention the great mattress? The room was compact/small but furnished well and good use of space.

If you are looking for a value then stay at the Best Inn. The rooms are inexpensive, clean, and stocked with a nice refrigerator and a microwave. The staff is very accommodating. We stayed here on our way to and from our destination. Great Value!

This hotel was a very big surprise! We knew we were getting a low price and I expected a not so nice hotel for my money. This hotel is very clean and well kept on the outside. The rooms are small but extremely clean. The lady at the front counter was so nice and very helpful and gave us very good directions to restaraunts and to the concert venue we were going to later that night. My wife and I both said we would definitely stay here again!

Rooms are a little small but everything else more than made up for that.
