It looked kind of cleanly air condition worked
Old shampoo/conditioner bottles rotting Staff was poor, meaning the one guy that ran it. Stared at in a discriminatory fashion by his wife. People hang out outside
The front desk woman was nice.
This is the a bait and switch deal if there ever was one. It should be 1 star, not 3 star. Our room did not have a fridge, microwave, or Wifi. When I complained, we moved to another room, but packing and climbing stairs is not fun. I found a dead bee in the window sill and a live silverfish next to the bed the next morning. The locks do not work, but the dead bolt did. The train crossing is right next door and there is no way anyone can sleep through that horn going. This was the worst property I have stayed in...ever. Oh...there was NO breakfast in the morning either.
Noting would never stay here or recommend anybody else to stay here.
The staff was very very rude about everything. They made us feel like we were stuck there and could not do anything about it because we already paid for the room. The lights in the restroom did not work. No microwave, fridge, iron in the room or the facility could be used. The rr was vey nasty, toilet seat was cracked. Whatever you do, do not stay here waste of $60!!!
The reservation came with a refrigerator and microwave in the room for the price. Instead the Owner offered me to pay more if I moved to another room with the amenities promised. No give me what your ad promised on Booking. Then the room was only cleaned on Friday and then I was given sheets with a burn hole in them. It was quite an experience. But lesson learned you get what you pay for.
Price and early checkin. I was traveling with my adult son to see a CFB game at NRG Stadium so I wanted to be close to the stadium and most rooms were taken. I paid $60 plus tax ($71 total) for 2 queen beds.. I was allowed to check in at 11:30 am.
They still use a Key. When I pulled in the area was like an Industrial area but very shady looking. The Motel had a clean walled fenced area which looked secure. As I pulled in there was only a couple of cars in the lot. I parked close to the front checkin area. Next to one of the cars in the lot. There was a man sleeping with the seat back and a bunch of crumpled dollars in the fornt seat. It lresembled a crack dealer's setup. as seen in movies. The room was ok, ac was on and it was clean looking. But I checked the sheets and they were clean, the tub was clean but the floor corners had dirt but hey its only for one night and we were only sleeping there. I turned on the TV to check out espn college football games etc but was surprised to see a porn menu when I powered up the TV. Since there was not a TV channel listing in the room I preceeded to change the channels they had the NFL network but no espn but I was surprised to find a totally nude sex act channel... But not my kind of viewing especially with my adult son. Next channel took me back to the porn menu channel. I have NEVER stayed in a motel or hotel with a live porn channel. After the game when we returned to the room there were plenty of cars at around 1 am and lots of activity in the parking lot. We went to the room and my son started to channel surf to see if there was any news about the CFB games and none could be found but there was a different porn action channel showing sex acts plus the next channel was the porn menu. Needless to say we just shut off the TV and went to bed woke up early and headed home. No I would not recommend this to anyone unless there is no other place to stay or unless you are wanting a free porn tv channel but NO espn... I only stayed here after seeing this listed as GOOD by several HOTEL search sites and it was only a few days before the game.
The room had everything you need to sleep plus a mini fridge. The room key comes with the TV remote.
Water dripping from ceiling. A/C was about 10-degrees off. Sheets were dirty. The cashiers in the neighborhood and hotel were behind thick layers of Plexiglas. Room was extremely musty when arriving.
Noisy. Train passed nearby often. The staff decided to pressure wash walls around 10am on a Sunday morning. Rude staff. Only 3 towels given.
cant come and go as you want! cant have friends and family to come to your room, had to pay 30 dollars just for a friend to come over for an hour so i can get dressed to go out smh
The staffers were good and warm.
The location is too far from the city centre. It took so long for taxis to arrive and coming back there is often easy.
Location for access to major freeways, Loop 610 and Highway 288, was convenient. Lowest price around area. Air conditioner worked well. Plenty hot water, good water pressure.
Too noisy. One block from railroad: Blaring train horns and rumbling, banging from linking train cars. Office had a speaker outside to hear phone from property. Parking is immediately in front of rooms. Any beeps, chirps, slams or voices easily heard. No hair dryer. Ironing board, no iron. Filthy light switches and outlets (a pet peeve of mine that no one else I know cares about) Mounted in ceiling above bed, a fluorescent light that casts a glare on television (mounted on opposite wall). Hardest pillows; I bought a $3 pillow from Big Lots. Needed to save cash, but will look elsewhere before staying here again.
it was clean good value for money coffee available in lobby microwave and frig in room
Room was ok
Bathroom light didn't work. Graffiti on the bed sheets. If you plan to stay bring a gun. We lost our money on the room . Leave the hotel after midnight took the lost on the rooms we had 3 rooms . Overall stay.....dont do
Close to reliant park
Train too close and blowing horn at night
room was Ok
Light in bath/shower not working good and no desk to put my little printer and laptop. Also no table with chairs to eat on. Over all good. Area in the hood.
Location, friendly staff
Convenience to expressway and medical center
Carpet very dirty in room and they only clean room when you leave..
It was the cheapest option I had. If you want to save money, and if that's your only concern, then this is an acceptable option.
It was cold in Houston when we visited and the heat barely worked. There were also no think blankets, to we all had to sleep with layers of clothing. The bathtub didn't hold water, so giving my two-year-old a bath was basically impossible. Breakfast was a muffin and cold coffee. We were excited to leave in the morning.
- Good location. It's pretty close to downtown (5-10 minutes by car) and pretty safe. It is rather remote and quiet, so I didn't see any bums or trouble-makers around, plus the reception is right at the entrance and open 24/7. - Good value for money. No luxury, but decent overall. Room was clean, sheets and bathroom clean, had a flat screen TV, microwave, fridge. Good AC, kept the room warm (December), although a bit too loud. - Free parking and Wi-Fi. - Coffee and muffins in the morning - not a lot, but it didn't hurt, especially for the little money you pay.
- Room wasn't cleaned by default. I guess you have to ask for it if you want yours cleaned. Same goes for towels and toilet paper - had to ask. - Walls and floors are thin. I could hear my neighbor from above throwing something on the floor half the night. Maybe I wasn't lucky. - Active railway a few hundred feet away, but it wasn't much of a problem for me, personally. - Nothing around within walking distance.
