We love everything esp. The free shuttle and the staff.
Rooms are a reasonable size and the bed was comfortable.
Price was too high and didn't include additional parking charge which was a surprise if you didn't read the fine print. Breakfast was ok but the breakfast area is very small so you have to stand in line and wait a bit.
Clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated room - much better than expected. Parking is so easy - open lot right next door - quick and easy to get in and out. Breakfast included hard boiled egg, pastries, bagels, English muffins, cereals, bananas, apples, juice, yogurt, canned fruit. We would definitely go there again.
No whole grain options for breakfast (except the cereals) How about some whole wheat bagels?
the heat wasn't working properly
The breakfast was great. The staff were very helpful and kind. The courtyard is great, wish it had not been winter for this visit. The staff even helped me to pay less for parking, because on weekends the public parking is free just across the street from the hotel.
Unfortunately, I have gotten used to big hotels with rooms available that might be used for meetings, etc. This is not available here. But the price, and older hotel ambiance was great.
I have stayed at Bethesda Court many times and have always found the accommodations and staff excellent. Hotel is convenient to D.C. and excellent restaurants.
The staff was nice and responded quickly to requests. Unfortunately, we had a lot of requests because the hotel was not up to par and the staff (other than the person at the front desk) did not speak English.
Was very disappointed in what I found for the rating it was given with Booking .com. This boutique hotel should not have had a rating higher than 3 star, at the most! The lobby was small, the eating area was way too small (couldn't eat comfortably) and the furnishings/carpeting were run down.
Close to metro and good restaurants.
Doors slam and the walls shake. Too much noise in the hallways. Staff hanging out outside the front door and talking late at night could be clearly heard in our room and made it hard to sleep.
Reasonable price with breakfast Convenient location, near supermarket or restraints. This hotel is best for visiting Washington D.C. for sightseeing
Reception was friendly. 5 minute walk to the metro down a busy street so easy and (seemingly) safe access to Washington DC. Reasonably quiet. Breakfast selection was reasonable.
Polystyrene plates, plastic cutlery and paper cups. Staff were sitting around outside, so why not have them clean reusable stuff? Breakfast area was cramped too. Noisy heater (hot air blower -- also an air-conditioner).
Good help at the desk.
First Impressions are lasting impressions. Hotel had that vintage look and feel. Room was nicely decorated. Had view of street. Bed slept great.
Very small elevator. Had ti pay $15 to park in hotel lot.
nothing. not even the coffee
i saw hotels in the surrondings. now next time i know where to go
Accommodations were comfortable.
Water pressure was low in the shower, but it was nice and hot. Next door guests were overly loud very late but management tried to fix that. Somehow I missed the $15 parking fee when setting up the reservation. I suppose that is probably standard in a big city, but I wasn't aware of it ahead of time.
Internet did not work
Loved the court yard where you can enjoy breakfast or a drink.Great location for visiting D.C. Lots of nearby restaurants.
Breakfast area is too small. The huge difference between the weekend and weekday rates!
Good nightly rates Close proximity to Metro Rail Station Friendly staff
Older hotel transmits noise really well Alarm clock was broken and woke me up at 5 a.m.
Good location, just 2 blocks away from red line metro. Good size rooms. Good continental breakfast included. Ideal for visiting DC
Small breakfast room. WiFi slightly temperamental
convenient to downtown Bethesda
very small shower no vent or exhaust in bathroom.
The staff in the morning was so sweet. I had an interview at nci. I happened to ask for directions and they actually offered me a ride. I thought it was a very kind act. Both were hispanic women. I wish I caught their name but it was the morning of September 23rd.
Comfortable bed and bedding. Kuerig machine for tea was nice.
Carpeted floor felt sticky on my bare feet.
Booked a room for 2adults 2 kids.Came few hours later and was told the only room aavailable is a small room with one bed, because two other poeple came after my reservation. Luckily the other adult did not come. Had to squeeze myself and the 2 kids in a full size bed. Not fun at all
location was good
no fan in bathroom
