Breakfast area should be larger in size.
Room air con was basic and bathroom small. Poor at replacing items used and had to ask. Expected high quality for the price we paid
It was in a good location close to town with good access to the Metro to DC. Room was comfortable but a little basic. Hotel lobby nicely done and outside seated patio a good feature which we enjoyed
Late at night and early in the mornings people were loud and running through the halls. Very noisy.
Price fit the facility.
lots of restaurants within walking distance 3 blocks to metro
Free breakfast was just okay, but there are plenty of places to eat nearby
Great location - close to lots of restaurants Bed was comfortable Refridgerator, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker in the room.
Heat went out in room walls thin you can hear others conversations staff was a nag and unprofessional when we complained about the heat he waited till i walked back to my room to tell my friend he needed me to movethe car when i come down to do so and question what was the problem he lied to say he didn't bring up the car my friend did in the same breath he said i had to move it cause the parking was for guest when i stated. I am a guest he told me different guest this is after charging me 45 for parking then the day we left we were supposed to have free 2pm extended stay that was not honored they called and knocked repeatedlyto assure we left at 12 i felt unwelcomed
Victoria was wonderful
The hot water in the shower was slow to "arrive" in the morning.
Unfortunately, Bethesda experienced a snow storm accompanied by extremely low temperatures. We could not modulate the room temperature to compensate for the extreme cold. (The thermostat did not function, so we were up several times each night to adjust the room temperature.)
Really liked the location central to Bethesda shopping and dining.
Continental breakfast was only so-so.
Staff was friendly, helpful, accommodating. All went the extra mile. Front desk staff especially focused on customer service. Room was clean, beds comfortable, room heat/ac was easily controlled. Convenient location.
Room was comfortable - cramped bathroom
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a nice perk
Room, breakfast, staff, location, reasonable parking, near excellent restaurants and metro.
We love everything esp. The free shuttle and the staff.
Price was too high and didn't include additional parking charge which was a surprise if you didn't read the fine print. Breakfast was ok but the breakfast area is very small so you have to stand in line and wait a bit.
Rooms are a reasonable size and the bed was comfortable.
No whole grain options for breakfast (except the cereals) How about some whole wheat bagels?
Clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated room - much better than expected. Parking is so easy - open lot right next door - quick and easy to get in and out. Breakfast included hard boiled egg, pastries, bagels, English muffins, cereals, bananas, apples, juice, yogurt, canned fruit. We would definitely go there again.
the heat wasn't working properly
Unfortunately, I have gotten used to big hotels with rooms available that might be used for meetings, etc. This is not available here. But the price, and older hotel ambiance was great.
The breakfast was great. The staff were very helpful and kind. The courtyard is great, wish it had not been winter for this visit. The staff even helped me to pay less for parking, because on weekends the public parking is free just across the street from the hotel.
I have stayed at Bethesda Court many times and have always found the accommodations and staff excellent. Hotel is convenient to D.C. and excellent restaurants.
Was very disappointed in what I found for the rating it was given with Booking .com. This boutique hotel should not have had a rating higher than 3 star, at the most! The lobby was small, the eating area was way too small (couldn't eat comfortably) and the furnishings/carpeting were run down.
The staff was nice and responded quickly to requests. Unfortunately, we had a lot of requests because the hotel was not up to par and the staff (other than the person at the front desk) did not speak English.
Doors slam and the walls shake. Too much noise in the hallways. Staff hanging out outside the front door and talking late at night could be clearly heard in our room and made it hard to sleep.
Close to metro and good restaurants.
Reasonable price with breakfast Convenient location, near supermarket or restraints. This hotel is best for visiting Washington D.C. for sightseeing
Polystyrene plates, plastic cutlery and paper cups. Staff were sitting around outside, so why not have them clean reusable stuff? Breakfast area was cramped too. Noisy heater (hot air blower -- also an air-conditioner).
Reception was friendly. 5 minute walk to the metro down a busy street so easy and (seemingly) safe access to Washington DC. Reasonably quiet. Breakfast selection was reasonable.
Good help at the desk.
Very small elevator. Had ti pay $15 to park in hotel lot.
First Impressions are lasting impressions. Hotel had that vintage look and feel. Room was nicely decorated. Had view of street. Bed slept great.
i saw hotels in the surrondings. now next time i know where to go
nothing. not even the coffee
Water pressure was low in the shower, but it was nice and hot. Next door guests were overly loud very late but management tried to fix that. Somehow I missed the $15 parking fee when setting up the reservation. I suppose that is probably standard in a big city, but I wasn't aware of it ahead of time.
Accommodations were comfortable.
