    The breakfast was fine.

We were relegated to the house next door. Room was rather dark. Fortunately there was no rain when we had to go for breakfast. We thought the décor a bit shabby. A plus was that the room was on the back, hence very quiet.

old world charm of the building and room. Plenty of parking.

The request to provide a gratuity to the cleaning and cooking staff when breakfast was an included item in the advertising.

We had a room in the separate house which included the use of a separate lounge. This wd perfect for our needs. Also the breakfast was very good and offered sufficient choices.

The family breakfast setting with china. Homemade goodies from scratch. Safety of home. Assistance when trying to find a good place to eat.

Got hit with 5 inches of snow--LOL

Location to walk to the town was perfect. We came by train.Capitol Grounds a cosy cafe serving pretty acceptable expressos was a good place to start the day. Check-in was smooth and casual. Value for money.

Our room, furnished in the Victorian mode appropriate for the house, was very nice. Plenty of room, scaled just right. Very comfortable mattress on the double bed. Nice tight windows for a winter night, with attractive drapes and new shades. Nicely clean and good walk-in shower with plenty of room, fitted into space for the earlier tub. Breakfast in the dining room was excellent, as was the company of two other couples. Easy to get to from 89, except that Montpelier needs to put up a (prominent) street sign for Main Street. There is none at the intersection with Memorial Drive now.

You've got to like a cozy place -- just like grandma'S. It's not brushed aluminum, modern... Rather, it's a trip to the Victorian era in America.

Convenient to exploring the city. Great breakfast. Beautiful antique furnishings. Hostess and cook both very friendly.

The person staying upstairs got up very early and the wooden floors were very noisy and it woke us up. Not a huge deal.
