We appreciated the location, the living space of the suite and the pool area as well as the friendly and helpful parking staff.
We didn't like to have to pay 10$ per device per day for wifi (!!) and 28$ for valet parking. We are not sure we will consider this hotel for future stays.
set in a good neighbourhood, bus stop right outside took us everywhere we wanted to go. Fridge, kitchenette, spacious lounge area. Pool and spa. Quiet and well presented. Restaurant on site very nice. Century city mall, restaurants and supermarket all within a good walk.
All four pillows in room too high, all the same, which affected sleep. Asked for an extension on room, due to late flight and was told to pay full rate. We thought half rate was fair for a few extra hours.
The rooms, the friendly staff, the food and location . Just everything about this hotel is amazing
Staff at this hotel were excellent, very attentive and efficient. The food was good and not over the top cost wise. Nice accommodation if a bit pricey. Quite good location for getting to other places but you need a car as it's on a very busy road.....
..so it wasn't possible to walk to shops/restaurants if that's what you want. The kitchen wasn't well equipped - if you provide a kitchen make it user friendly! Thought charging for wifi ($10/day) and parking ($28/day) was excessive given daily rate. Irritating pool music.
Free upgrade to very large apartment
Having to drag heavy suitcases up and down stairs as floor layout is strange
Staff we're very helpful, pool area nice, room very clean
Very small bathroom, kitchen could be better with a kettle
The staff is gracious and really helpful.
Overdone draperies in the rooms and the bathroom is cramped with a ridiculous overdone shower curtain. Less is more. You really have to travel to get to restaurants. Courtesy car would be great.
Nice employees, clean and spacy suite. Bedrooms out to the back, no street noise
Through the room connection door from the neighbor suite we could hear music the whole night Not very loud but still disturbing
Noise from old air conditioner units and you can hear your neighbors do everything
Location was great. Close to Beverly Hills, the I-405 and Santa Monica Beach!
Staff on the desk were really unfriendly. Hotel was tacky in places e.g using stickers on walls that looked like brick or 'fake doors'. Overpriced. $10 a day for wifi on each device. (Which I've never experienced in any 3/4/5 star hotel before.) $28.99 for parking a night which they tried to charge us twice for even though we used it once (only because we needed to check in and there was no parking spaces on the road) so make sure you check your bill! The bar shut earlier than the time stated and we were forced to get room service which was extortionately priced. We used the bar once for breakfast, it was super small and dark and not 4* food. Ironing board had no cushioning so imprinted the metal crosses from underneath the 'cover' on to your clothes. They barely replaced the products in the bathroom, even the soap. Super disappointed with this hotel as it was the only negative in an otherwise perfect trip.
The hotel has a nice feeling as you come in, and your staff is the best.
I found a dirty-dirty napkin in the kitchen as i was looking for a spoon.
Excellent location. Clean and well maintained facilities.
The staff particularly at the reception could have been a bit more courteous - they were too stiff (it doesn't take much to smile a bit). The room was far too deep into the building and we had to go through a series of corridors.
Location, room size, interior
Scent of old furniture or smth in the room For such price category - the need to pay additionally for quite questionable internet for every deviceis is quite confusing
Nice room and pool
Our alarm was set to 6 am on a Saturday. The maid should make sure no alarms are set. Also our room phone rang couple of times in the morning but only once each time before it stopped again.
Valet service Very friendly staff; explaining you on how to get to touristic places in LA
Unfriendly staff, outdated decor, low quality linen, nightly rate is too expensive for the room I got, noise (could hear people upstairs in the shower and walking around on squeaky floorboards), paper thin walls (could hear people talking next door)
The bell boy who carried our luggage up 5 steps of stairs without complaining and with a big smile on his face. The host (possibly manager) of the tiny restaurant who greeted us with enthusiasm and graciousness even though we arrive 10 minutes before closing. The pool was lovely though we did not have time to stop and enjoy any of the facilities of the hotel. A nice place to stay, however, good location and good value for the price. The valet was also wonderful - although I did not use the valet he always greeted us with a great smile and something nice to say! I see a lot of complaints about the rooms that are located upstairs...they are a little dated but my daughter and I actually enjoyed the old time glamorous Beverly Hills look of them - it was our first time here, so it was a fitting atmosphere.
Front desk staff for the most part were not friendly - did not even look up to greet you when you walk past. They appeared to be tired and worn out. The exception was a young Asian gentlemen who check us in, sorry did not get his name.
Gorgeous hotel with great character. The beds are really comfortable - just what you need after a busy LA day - and the pool area was really relaxing. By LA standards the hotel is small but beautifully decorated, very charming and spotlessly clean.
Although situated right in Beverly Hills it is at least a 20 minute walk to get anywhere as the country club lies between it and the busier Rodeo Drive area. Nobody in LA walks so felt very conspicuous if we did. On the bright side it cost less than 8USD for a cab to Rodeo Drive and the bars and shops.
Staff very attentive & welcoming! Nice, comfortable room!
Kitchen could use a little work.
friendly staff, great location, very clean rooms, I got a suit and I loved it!
you will not find your room easily! very confusing. Also, although the hotel from the outside and the lobby as well look very classy, the way to the rooms is kind of two stars hotel.
Staff were lovely, great cocktails, food was nice, the quaintness made it feel intimate
there were a couple of flights of stairs to get our bags down and we had 5 cases.
Great location! In the heart of Beverly Hills, close to everything. Swanky boutique hotel with lots of old Hollywood charm and decor. Loved it!
Pool service could have been better. Needed more staff out by pool taking food/drink orders!
they do not let me to stay more than 12:30 pm for check out and they do not respect them customers
Staff Lobby pool decor room size Coy carp pool outside room ice machine
Road outside, crazy! Room was under stairs= loud gym not great Room service breakfast not great
Everything! Courteous, friendly and efficient staff. Beautiful room, very nicely presented, clean, welcoming. Great attention to detail. Exceptional! Wished we were staying much longer. We will definitely return for a longer stay.
Could not fault this place in any way!
