$28 + tax per night parking fee. Rather steep for a hotel that can ONLY be reached by car. $10 per day, per device for internet wifi. For a family of 4, with possibly up to 8 devices, that's VERY pricey. Most comparable hotels offer a flat package of around $15 per day for an unlimited number of devices. Beds were too small and soft.
Small, Quaint & Bijou but classy ambiance. Very clean, well maintained, spacious rooms. In what felt like a very safe, up-market are only 5 mins drive from Beverly Hills and 20 mins from the Hollywood attractions.
Paying $10 a day for Internet access. Walls were quite thin, could hear guests in other rooms. In middle of residential district, no shops/restaurants anywhere close
Staff very friendly and helpful. Comfortable room
The rooms were a bit worn-in, and could need a refurbishment. The area behind the hotel does not reflect the lobby or entrance area, and could also need some updating. The jacuzzi looked inviting in the daytime, but not as much so in the evenings.
The lobby of this hotel is amazing. The staff were friendly, and the very accommodating. Breakfast at the in-house restaurant was pricey, yet very nice. The pool-area near the lobby seemed calming and worth a visit.
The staff was wonderful and the hotel is small enough that they remembered our name. The rooms are spacious suites and ours had a full kitchen. This saved us money by being able to eat a few meals in the room and also have water etc.
The staff is always so friendly and the hotel has such beautiful ambiance. The table of flowers in the lobby are a spectacular focal point.
Bathroom is bit small, shower curtain very chunky so very dark when closed having a shower
Room is clean and good size with lounge sofa and kitchenette. Good location, quiet at night and not far from all the buzz in Hollywood.
the hot tub was cold, jets dont work, loby construction, front desk pissy, room was dirty had to change twice, too old, needs major reno
bed was comfy and back rooms were quiet location was good, lotsa street parking so no need to pay for overnight parking, bell boys are super friendly
it has character and is centrally located
Staff was not friendly.
This Hotel was just so beautiful, we will go back if ever we in LA. You can go with the bus any where for one way ticket of $1.75 or full day ticket for $7, use as many time a day as you like, its also in the center to Santa Monica and Beverley Hills! Thank you for the pleasant experience, friendly and helpful staff!!!!!
I was pleasantly surprised by nearly every aspect of my stay. The hotel was beautiful, the staff made me feel like part of the family and I was charmed by my room. Best of all- I had meetings all over the city (culver city, Santa Monica, Anaheim) and felt I hit jackpot by booking this hotel in such a convenient location.
Location for dining out and convenience needs are at least 15 min walk away. Uber to Santa Monica Promenade is about $10.
The facilities brings you back to old Hollywood. Well maintained and kept up for comfort.
Make sure you turn on the price you do not disturb light! No one told me where it was. I was woken at 8 am by one of the maids pounding on my door. Later that day a staff member knocked once and proceeded into my room will I was in the bathroom !!! Not a pleasant experience .
Nicely accommodation for the price point.
the noise of the airconditioning
the friendly atmosphere, the pool
The internet was very bad
The view is very nice
the stairs, the very small and dark breakfast room!
localisation , quietness friendly staff
I think it's excessive to be charging $10 a day for Internet, there should be an option to access for free for a limited time frame at least... Paying $10 to check your E- mails for an hour is rediculous.
Courtyard and lobby beautiful, appreciated the upgraded rooms, wish I had thought to bring a bathing suit!
The walls are a bit thin and neighbours can be heard. Quiet nights though. The internet is paid per device, which is a very outdated idea if you ask me.
Rooms are clean, spacious and feature a kitchenette complete with pots, microwave and kettle. The location is great for access to most areas. We both travelled and worked in different locations and usually reached places in max 30 minutes by car. The parking is $28 per day but there are free spots on the other side of the street.
The hotel room was filthy. The food is poor quality. The staff is friendly, but some are not totally informed about hotel policies or products. Older property, so do not expect large bathrooms, or latest gadgets. The kitchen utensils and glassware were filthy.
The location is convenient to UCLA and Beverly Hills. It is a quiet property. Shower/water pressure is good.
Rooms were a little outdated... felt like the bathroom could've used a new tub and the walls (wallpaper) seemed kind of old.
Small and quaint Classy outlay Nice, small pool Overall clean facilities - perfect for a short stay for one person (i.e. no kids, pets, etc.)
They should advertise spa and salon services better. Unfortunately for me they were doing work outside of my door on the property so it did get very loud at times
Larger than average rooms. Comfortable living with a beautiful pool.
Friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful facilities.
Only that there were not taxi's available - had to call them to get one but the front desk did that for me. Also that there was not an option to find other restaurant or pharmacy-like services that were within walking distance.
I was upgraded to a larger suite without asking. I appreciated that and only wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the facilities.
