The staff is gracious and really helpful.
Overdone draperies in the rooms and the bathroom is cramped with a ridiculous overdone shower curtain. Less is more. You really have to travel to get to restaurants. Courtesy car would be great.
Nice employees, clean and spacy suite. Bedrooms out to the back, no street noise
Through the room connection door from the neighbor suite we could hear music the whole night Not very loud but still disturbing
Noise from old air conditioner units and you can hear your neighbors do everything
The hotel has a nice feeling as you come in, and your staff is the best.
I found a dirty-dirty napkin in the kitchen as i was looking for a spoon.
Excellent location. Clean and well maintained facilities.
The staff particularly at the reception could have been a bit more courteous - they were too stiff (it doesn't take much to smile a bit). The room was far too deep into the building and we had to go through a series of corridors.
Valet service Very friendly staff; explaining you on how to get to touristic places in LA
Unfriendly staff, outdated decor, low quality linen, nightly rate is too expensive for the room I got, noise (could hear people upstairs in the shower and walking around on squeaky floorboards), paper thin walls (could hear people talking next door)
Staff very attentive & welcoming! Nice, comfortable room!
Kitchen could use a little work.
friendly staff, great location, very clean rooms, I got a suit and I loved it!
you will not find your room easily! very confusing. Also, although the hotel from the outside and the lobby as well look very classy, the way to the rooms is kind of two stars hotel.
Staff were lovely, great cocktails, food was nice, the quaintness made it feel intimate
there were a couple of flights of stairs to get our bags down and we had 5 cases.
Great location! In the heart of Beverly Hills, close to everything. Swanky boutique hotel with lots of old Hollywood charm and decor. Loved it!
Pool service could have been better. Needed more staff out by pool taking food/drink orders!
they do not let me to stay more than 12:30 pm for check out and they do not respect them customers
Staff Lobby pool decor room size Coy carp pool outside room ice machine
Road outside, crazy! Room was under stairs= loud gym not great Room service breakfast not great
Everything! Courteous, friendly and efficient staff. Beautiful room, very nicely presented, clean, welcoming. Great attention to detail. Exceptional! Wished we were staying much longer. We will definitely return for a longer stay.
Could not fault this place in any way!
staff at frondesk
The stuff were excellent- kind and helpful, sleeping was great on a nice bed. Coffee maker, plates, cups, silverware etc. Made it comfortable to bring in food and have quiet breakfast in the room. The hotel has nice plants all around and nice pool though I didn't had the chance to use it.
The location made it impossible to get out without a car, so walking around is out of the question. The elevator does not reach all rooms so big luggage is hard to carry without help. The rooms had a kind of "old" smell but after opening the windows it cleared up.
I love the water feature throughout the west rooms; that's where I like to stay. The pool is lovely, the entire setting very relaxing. I love the kitchenettes, a huge draw for us.
Allowing guests to smoke at the pool and at the hot tub. We stayed in room 614 right next to the hot tub; the smoking there is annoying. But it did not get in to our room, so the seals around the door were really good.
Our upgrade room was fantastic. we were given a suit with seperate bedrooms, ensuits and a huge lounge. Staff were so polite and ready to help. Service around the pool was great and the standard of food and drinks were excellent. If I return to Beverly Hills I will certainly stay there again.
WiFi was terrible.
This is the 2nd time I have stayed at the Beverly Hills Plaza Hotel & I really cannot fault it. The staff are fantastic & it is a really lovely property & the rooms are excellent & the food although limited is great. All round a first class experience!
The only thing I can fault the hotel on is having the bar close at 9 pm.They really need to change that.
The people in the room next door were up talking loudly until 3:30 am. The walls are very thin. I had to call the front desk to complain. Hotel management never even apologized for the inconvenience. Hotel staff were not helpful at all when I asked for recommendations for transportation to a local attraction.
The lobby and and main property by the poor was beautiful. The room was luxurious and the bed and bedding was very comfortable and of high quality.
I was supposedly "upgraded" to the "Penthouse Suite" which was a major hike to the back of the property far away from the pool and lobby areas. I had to literally hike through a confusing maze of corridors and several different flights of stairs. I would never have found my room or found my way back to the lobby without the bellman. The two sliding glass doors in my suite were the original doors circa 1950 and faced the roof of the adjacent building and a wall of air conditioning units (thankfully I travel with ear plugs). Entering into the suite was like stepping back into 1960 ' s Beverly Hills, which in some ways was cool, but not my preference for business travel. I prefer modern updated accommodations. The sofa and carpet were worn and had stains. The aimoire was on visible wooden shims to level it. If probably will not stay here again, but if I do, I will definitely request a poolside room and will not accept a room on the "back 40."
Interesting hotel design. Great value for money. Fantastic facilities. Very good bar staff. My first stay they left little chocolates on my pillow!!!
The food is a bit pricey. WiFi is not free anywhere.
Slippery by pool
I really liked this hotel and had nothing to complain from the facilities and the room and the location
Maybe, it was just our bad luck but our room had bed bugs and after complaining for 2 nights we had to finally change our room for the last night. Also, the on site restaurant left a little to be desired with the solitary dish we ordered so we didnt try again.
