We were there for a taping of The Price is Right. The location was perfect. Also convenient for bus tours. They picked us up at the hotel for Universal Studio tour and Hollywood tour. It is an older hotel but very clean. The bathroom was nicely renovated. |

Location was superb - easy walking distance to Farmer's Market and Grove Shopping Centre (and Sunset Strip/Hollywood Boulevard if you are fit enough). We had a room for 4, which was huge and included a kitchenette and large bathroom with a superb 'wet room' style shower. Free parking was a bonus (spaces comfortably large enough for a 4x4). |

it is conveniently located and has a great diner attached. parking is free. the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. $99 for a hotel in the west hollywood area is a rare find and the beverly laurel is surprisingly well priced. I have stayed there a number of times and always enjoy my stay. I will definitely be back! |

Location - near to farmers market, excellent v trendy swingers diner downstairs, friendly staff and maids, very clean and a great price, free parking too. No safe, a little noisy, though clean, could do with a return but no doubts the prices would go up for this otherwise excellent little hotel. |

This hotel is afforadable and in a great location with a restaurant underneath that serves great food with vegan and vegetarian choices. The hotel is a bit old and tired but the bed was comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. As a female travelling alone I felt safe and I was able to walk to shops, restaurants, cafe's, cinemas etc even though walking in LA is considered odd. Unfortunaely it was noisy due to a combination of the lift and stairwell right outside my door as well as it being right next to where the cleaning staff keep their things and they weren't exactly quiet when they started just before 7am. |

good restaurant; great location; reasonable price parking facilities; increased price because we got a newer renovated room; on an earlier visit the better room was given to us without an increase in rate |

We had a terrific trip. The diner was delicious, and we loved the mod retro 1960's design of the hotel. The pool area was also lovely. No complaints! The parking area really tests your skills for getting out of a tight spot! park in one of the upstairs spots or on the street if your car isn't good with tight turns. |

The size of the hotel (not too big) and the motel style with the swimming pool in the middle. The car park at the basement of the Hotel. The bathroom. Bedroom size (too small) |

The location was so close to The Grove and The Farmers' Market. The Swingers cafe downstairs was so convenient and we thought the food was very good. |

The Beverly Laurel has a great atmosphere -- you truly feel like you're in hollywood. It's walking distance to Largo, the best music venue in LA., and to a number of really great cafes (Kings Road and Mani's) It's the least expensive hotel in the area, and Swingers, a great diner, is attached to the hotel. 1. The water pressure in the shower is low, and the hot water was also hard to find. 2. the wifi should be free, really. |

Good location, free parking, cute retro decor, and the diner downstairs had excellent food for reasonable prices In our first room, the toilet was broken and in the second, the shower was broken. The hotel policy is "not to call maintenance after hours for one room", so we had no shower for one night. I have to assume that if another room had not been available, and the policy were being followed, we would have spent the night in the first room without a toilet all night. This makes me reluctant to chance another visit to this hotel - what if we were not so lucky next time? |

I had one of the newly renovated rooms which was nice and the fact that they had parking was great. The pillows are terrible (flat as a pancake) and since I didn't make my reservations directly with them I didn't get the AAA discount. Next time I will book directly to get the discount. |
