Great room, great location, great value, cool diner downstairs

Location is great. Have stayed there a couple of times. Love Swingers coffee shop on the premises.

Could used a little fixer up on the bathrooms. The elevator brought down while we were there and had to use the stairs. Tough with luggage but hey that can happen anywhere.

Very comfortable & roomy; friendly staff; clean; close to a mall, the Farmer's Market and cbs Studio

Classy hotel with an interesting design. Guitars, music and movie stars on the walls. Large rooms with private kitchens. Spacious bathrooms. Parking available. Good location, cinema and shopping - 5 minutes walking distance.

Wi-fi is not free of charge as we expected. Decided not to pay for it. If you like classy hotels, don't book this one.

Great location , easy to get to from the hotel to sunset strip, hollywood Blvd, Melrose & Santa Monica Blvd. Swingers rest. below. Breakfast / dinner what ever you want.

It was very convenient to where I needed to be. The staff was courteous and helpful. The water was very hot and there were plenty of towels.

No free WiFi and no iron and ironing board in the room.

Location was good in a safe area of town with ample parking.

The restaurant next door can get noisy in the early hours when customers leave.

2 blocks from destination cbs. Swingers Dinner was good. Beds were comfy. Will recommend to others who are going to cbs studio but not much else to see in the area

Your quoted one price but once you get there your charged for parking in their own garage. Much older place but for as often as your in your room it was ok. Need update pictures

Easy access to transportation, have a good restaurant downstairs with good price and foods

Old hotel but very comfortable. And walking distance to Farmer's Market.

Plenty of people passing by in the loft in night could make it rather difficult to sleep.

It was great place to stay and close to CBS tv studios. Front people were very helpful

the room was clean, the beds comfy. the tv was older but it worked. liked having a refrigerator in room but it froze everything (i didn't say anything to the management tho). It was near a lot of the things i was interested in seeing and doing. they had security at night.

in order to turn on the a/c, you had to climb on a chair and then onto the top of the dresser. if you were 7 ft tall you would be able to do it standing on the floor. the room next to mine was with a kitchenette, we were sharing w/that group, 1 set of silverware, 2 plates and 1 frying pan.

The bathrooms are old and funky. The rooms are dated but clean. Overall it is in need of a face-lift.

I like the retro look to the room and the kitchenette. The new bathrooms are also nice along with the new electronic keys

The pillows on the beds need to be updated as they are all very hard and only good for sleepers thats sleep on there backs. Also the shades on the windows should be updated to keep light from coming into the room. Especially for the east facing rooms.

Retro hotel that is updating the rooms. Spacious bathrooms with plenty of outlets, friendly staff and very good restaurant (Swingers) attached to it.

Was a little noisy at times - is set back from main road, but sound carries.

Love the atmosphere of the hotel, its clean and the location is great. You can walk to the Grove Shopping Center. The Swingers restaurant located at the hotel has good food. The bathrooms at this hotel are huge and beautiful. For the price its a great hotel.

Parking spaces are sometimes hard to find

Excellent location...central to everything..lots of good restaurants in walking distance plus Erewhon Natural Food Store and Whole Foods minutes away! Traveled with my Dog, so loved the fact that hotel is located at top of residential block of houses...great for walking pup!

I have been staying there for 15 years, I know as a business woman on the road, its a comfort that they know me and there is a great diner next door. It is also stratigally located to the type of business I need to call on.
