The location, the staff (friendly, accommodating, helpful), the value, the comfortable bed, good continental breakfast, quiet, small but well-equipped room, good shower Wifi in the rooms was a little spotty. Other than that, everything was very good.

The rooms were well decorated and clean. The breakfast described as 'continental' was poor with only ceral and a few types of bread supplied. There were no in room tea or coffee making facilities or fridge. The hotel was supposed to have a pool but when we arrive we were informed it had been closed. They did not inform us prior to our arrival that this was the case and were offered no compensation despite stating how unhappy we were. This was one of the factors for choosing this hotel. With no pool and poor breakfast it is poor value for money as you are just paying for fancy soft furnishings.

I liked the quaint decor and the small, intimate design of the hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. And the patio area was just so relaxing and visually pleasing. The smallness of the rooms did not bother us since they were so cute. Also, if you don't mind walking a little bit, you are situated near the activities on Sunset Blvd., the restaurants and shops on Santa Monica Blvd., and the upscale home design and fashion shops on Melrose Ave. The area looks totally safe and has many nice homes as the hotel is situated on a main street surrounded by residential areas. On Sunday, we walked to the Fairfax High School to go to the Melrose Trading Post which was a great "flea market". We also walked thru a farmer's market just off of Melrose Ave. They are in the process of doing some painting to the exterior of the building. Also, we were missing a towel rack in the bathroom.

Fantastic location and a lovely ambience. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room, although small, was very comfortable. The bathroom was tiny but spotless. Loved the simple continental breakfast and its courtyard setting. Would definitely go back and recommend it to friends looking for good value in Beverly Hills. Overall the hotel is a bit tired but it is being renovated so that should be resolved soon.

Location very good, if you have a car. Very nice ambientation and decoration of the common areas for breakfast. Good service in general. I would recommend this hotel. Somebody left me a message at front desk, but they forgot to tell me. My room and bathroom was a little too small. No elevators. Parking space too small, hence car keys must be left at front desk for them to move the cars during night and morning.

I had a very formal wedding to attend at the Beverly Hills Hotel but there was no way that I could afford to stay there. The Beverly Terrace was very close (1.7 miles) & affordable. My room was comfortable & clean, & the staff was friendly (well, most of them were). The building was very old & the rooms somewhat shabby. A new coat of paint on the exterior & to the rooms & new carpet would really perk the atmosphere up. The rooms were very small but perfect for one or maybe two people. It was an economy room but all in all my experience was a good one.

The friendliest hotel staff I have ever encountered. Great location. Very clean. Nice courtyard. Reasonable parking rate. Easy to get in and out. Free wifi. Tasty cookies at the front desk. Oh, and we discovered a fantastic cafe a block away where we ate nearly every day: "La Conversation." We'll be back. We could not receive a wifi signal inside our particular room on any device we had (although it was just fine in the nice, cozy courtyard). Sadly, though, that nice courtyard allowed smoking. I should add that for us, those were only minor issues, really. There is no elevator here, only steps and landings (but the layout is such that you don't have to go far to get to the rooms, so this didn't pose a problem for us). Rooms were small (European sizing). However, we found them adequate and comfortable, and with all the pluses, the smaller room size should be a non-issue for most people. Could be a bit tight for families - but then again, most people are probably going to spend their time out and about anyway.

The Beverly Terrace was a pleasant surprise. Its a quaint, charming boutique hotel with a European or Spanish ambiance feel. The staff couldn't be more accommodating and friendly. The interior terrace is a wonderful place to have breakfast in the morning or chill out there at the end of your day. The rooms are small but cozy with the feel of staying at a friends house as opposed to a hotel. I I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends.

The rooms, the location, the attached mall, the attached casino! Best Place to stay in Vegas! Charge for WiFi! I would urge all hotels to factor this into the cost automatically when offering rates :)

Poor reception quality. No help with suitcases. Thin walls. Small bedroom. Bathroom doors do not shut. Huge gap under room main door. The door rattles and vibrates. No personal room heating. Heating is pumped through a vent as of 12 midnight. No control over heating. Had to call reception to block the vent coming into the room. Charged me room tax when your website showed daily price inclusive of taxes. Too expensive for very run down hotel.

Cool design with L.A. historic feel. Also feeling of seclusion and privacy considering its location. Staff was very courteous and professional. This ended up being a good place to hang the hat for a night. Thought the continental breakfast could have had a few more things. Room was smallish. Had concern about safety of the parking but that was okay. Overall, felt that maybe the room cost should be a few dollars less.

The hotel is a little hidden gem located just off Santa Barbara Boulevard on an intersection between Hollywood and Bevery Hills. The location is perfect to explore LA and provides easy access to both areas (by car). There's some choice of restaurants in the neighbourhood within 10-15 minutes walking distance from the hotel. The hotel has just a few rooms overlooking an inner courtyard with a small pool. Our room was rather on the small side but in excellent conditions, spotless and very quiet. A modest continental breakfast is served in the morning. Private parking available on-site at an extra charge ($8). Free wireless included. They charge $8 for parking.

Location! Staff! Pool! The interior design was so nice, and the restaurant was delicious! I can not say enough good things about the staff. Dihmikka was so genuine and sweet. I had to pump the bottles in the shower too much. I didn't get enough product. Hard to pump. However, I loved the shampoo and conditioner and body wash. Very nice product.

I loved it. I liked the unique, atypical, artistic decor. The pool area with tealights on the surrounding tables was pretty at night. The bed was a 10! sooo comfortable. I bet it was that special type of foam mattress...I Forgot what it's called. But I slept so good and woke up refreshed. The room was small, but I didn't mind. Would like to go back, but it is a little pricey to do on a regular basis. But ohhhhh, I hope to return. I was going to reserve another, cheaper hotel, but when the receptionist answered the telephone in an angry manner, I decided to go to the Beverly Terrace with its 4 star yelp review. The staff was very friendly and polite. The action at West Hollywood is within walking distance. Hope to return!

The location is OK if you want to be close-by to Beverly Hills. There is a restaurant on site, which was recommended to us, but we only got to try the rather poor breakfast buffet. There is no elevator, so if you are elderly and traveling with suitcases... you have to carry them up on the stairs or take a room on the ground floor. Also the shower had a door that doesn't shut and the shower curtain rail was broken. The hotel is on a major intersection but not within walking distance of anything.

It was a very good hotel with rooms watching the road and the pool in the inner courtyard and with some kind of style witch made this small hotel in Beverly Hills cute and cosy. Photos taken from the outside are not very representative of the hotel. It also offered breakfast not rich but satisfactory (coffee, orange juice, butter. Marmelades and fruits). Finally the location is very good within a walking distance from Sunset Strip!!
