Bienville House Hotel  

The staff at Bienville House is always professional, helpful and friendly. We've stayed there for the past 5 years during Jazz Fest. Beds are very comfortable, and the rooms are always cleaned to our standards. The courtyard/pool area is a very pleasant place to relax after a busy day. They offer guests a nice continental breakfast daily.

The breakfast was horrible. Plastic plates, paper cups, old pastries. Is better if they don't even offer it and lower the room price instead!

Proper old world New Orleans charm. Charming with excellent staff. Friendly and welcoming. Close to everything in the French quarter. Gin and tonic fabulous.

We asked for a king sized bed but were given two singles. The mattresses were very soft which we found uncomfortable. The breakfast is basic served on plastic plates with plastic cutlery. Must mention the breakfast staff were friendly and fun.

Location was great, not too far from the action but far enough that it didn't bother you. Service was VERY friendly

I made reservation for two double beds but got one king beds that was to big for the room. Bienville House staff said it was Booking.com fault.

Everything but breakfast. There was nothing but an apple for gluten free diners.

The location can't be beat. Near everything and within walking distance to all of the French Quarter. Despite being close to the action, it was very quiet and restful. Continental breakfast was good and enough to get you going for the day. The bar was very nice and staff very responsive. Our room was small, but had everything we needed. Would highly recommend.

The valet parking was atrocious. Even though we called ahead for our car, we had to wait over 30 minutes for our car to be retrieved, and caused us to be late for a meeting. The excuse was they couldn't find it. We also thought there was a lack of decent soap for the bathroom.

I almost accidentally booked a Kingsize bedroom with no windows! Also it was quite noisy at night from the position of the Hotel in the street.

The historic Bienville House Hotel was steps away from all the activities in the French Quarter but in a quieter area not swarming with tourists. The decor was befitting a New Orleans hotel exuding elegance and charm from yesteryear yet updated with modern conveniences. The staff was attentive and friendly, which made for a pleasant stay.

Spacious, beautifully furnished room with comfortable bed. Staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. The hotel was old-world New Orleans, but clean and well maintained.

The towels were rough and smaller than I would have liked.

Beds were much too high and required placing a chair to reach. For prices breakfast was a bit skimpy.

Location.

No hot water, after a long fly all I wanted was a hot showwer, no hot water.

We thoroughly enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and competent personnel at the desk. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast which was fresh and delicious. We will definitely return and will recommend the Bienville House to our family and friends.

Nice stay

Excellent staff, rapid check in for 5 rooms, immaculate and comfortable rooms yet elegant, excellent site in French Quarter, close to all activities - a very pleasant experience. I will be back.

In room coffee was below par for everything else. The community coffee in the breakfast bar was wonderful.
