Clean, comfortable rooms. Charming courtyard. Friendly and helpful staff. A great deal in the French Quarter.
Room Bed and awesome continental breakfast. Beautiful courtyard and pool!
Parking priceis too high!!
Rude people parking your car
THE STAFF WERE GREAT; VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY.
DID NOT KNOW THERE WAS NO WINDOW IN THE ROOM. FELT A BIT CONFINED WITHOUT A WINDOW.
Location is excellent. The breakfast included in the room price is good enough (although just based on pastries). Staff is nice and helpful.
No stairs, just one elevator. Breakfast could improve with some fresh food.
3 minute walk to Bourbon Street. Huge room with huge comfortable bed.
A little pricey. Breakfast could be better and availability of seating could be a lot better.
Use of space in room was wise and creative
Check in staff was LACKING in hospitality for sure. Breakfast server was much better.
Great bed and pool. Great desk staff. Good valet, though he seemed over-worked (maybe additional staff needed for busy times).
The locks were being replaced. So we had to either stay in our room when they were being replace (took about 45 minutes) or leave all of our stuff unattended in the room with the door open (no way). That was very inconvenient and there's no reason the door locks could not have been changed before check-in or after check-out. Also, the location of the stairs was not obvious. Not everyone likes elevators and we should be able to use the stairs if wanted or needed.
The housekeeping, breakfast, front desk, and concierge staff were very friendly and helpful. The concierge, Thomas, was extremely helpful and polite; he helped us navigate the many different tour guides and places to see and where to eat.
We specifically requested 2 beds but only got one. Was told when we arrived that bed requests were indeed only requests and that they did not have to honor them. There were two big conferences that week and we could not book a room elsewhere, so we were stuck. The hotel computers were down the entire first day we were there so things were a little chaotic but that presumably was just a glitch so very forgivable. The breakfast was ok but could use a bit more variety of fruits other than just apples. Overall, a good stay, however.
Easy to get to both the Quarter and the Central Business District.
Back rooms have a nice shared patio, but no view.
The WiFi was complementary, and the parking was not as much as i thought it would be. What i needed was in walking distance, Bourbon street was close enough to walk, but still pretty quiet. the room size was perfect. The lighting was a bit dim, however the bathroom lighting took care of that. The staff was friendly, helpful, and full of useful information as to how to get around, what to carry and what not to carry.
The lobby could get a bit crowded at times, also one elevator that was moving a bit slow made the wait times a bit long. Also it would have been nice if their restaurant would have been open.
The hotel was really nice with a great view of the river.
The grumpiest hotel staff I have ever encountered. Walked up to check in and they did not even say hello, we had to do all the talking. Not happy at that job - Go get another one!
Perfect location for walking around town. Close enough to everything. Loved the valet parking.
Breakfast was a little on the high carb side. Would like to have seen some fruit. Coffee was very weak.
Very loud music every night
Charming oasis in the middle of the city excitement. Close to the beautiful river walk Jackson square and bourbon street. The inside rooms are very quite. I liked the fourth floor because of the small courtyards.
Room is a little small
The decor was amazing and the staff are so warm and friendly we did not want to leave.
Breakfast choice was limited, however it was still good value.
Staff provided professional, informative, and courteous services during our stay.
Although the individual providing Valet and luggage services did a great job, there was only one person during a holiday weekend. It resulted in unacceptable wait times for those services and I expected better hotel management planning for the price of parking.
Truly could not have asked for a more ideally situated hotel…. within pleasant and safe walking distance to Everything in the Quarter yet surprisingly quiet at night for the most part… A cool, fresh and lovely lobby welcomes you and the rooms are clean, comfortable and of respectable size (with the exception of the smallish bathrooms). Great value overall in terms of room rates and accessibility.
The self-serve (included) breakfast selection is poor, consisting mostly of an uninspired selection of cheap sugary pastries and boxed cereal… Would have liked to see more of a selection of fruit, cheeses, boiled eggs perhaps…i.e. more protein and generally healthier fare. And the coffee was sadly of the "cafeteria" variety! We wound up seeking our morning meal and coffee at any number of awesome nearby options, which is fine if and when time permits… but certainly reduces the $ value aspect of the cost of a room. The "concierge" service was friendly but a disappointment… "Amateurish", you might say.On more than one occasion, he was quite unable to provide help or information about places of interest, services, etc… Reception was uneven: in the early afternoon of our arrival (October 10), we were greeted by a rather cold, stern, less-than-friendly woman at the desk! In the land of otherwise warm and lovely southern hospitality, may I suggest that this is not the kind of welcome/first impression a hotel should be striving for? (I recommend additional hotel staff training…) Lastly, many of the mattresses need replacing. My son's bed was a veritable hammock!
Air was not functioning properly. Staff is pleasant, but they need more help.
Noise, the city of New Orleans needs to do something about the obnoxiously loud music played by the party buses that travel up and down the streets of the french quarter from midnight until 3 & 4 in the morning. It's a party city, I get that, but the level of this music is ridiculous. The shower had black mold under the faucits and soap dish.
The courtyard is lovely, sitting on the edge of the pool after a days walking about with my fees in the water was bliss. Good location in easy reach of everything, helpful staff.
Breakfast wasnt great, just toast, croissants, juice etc but they didn't have a restaurant, so there was no kitchen to cook food.
Location was excellent.
We thought the breakfast was poor although the staff at breakfast were very helpful and good fun.
Beautiful decor, friendly staff in all areas. Location of hotel was perfect. Easy access to everything.
Elevator was small and there was no air flow.
