Pool was not in working order. There is no hot tub. The parking lot was open to the public heading to the boardwalk and was no parking places for guests to park when returning to their room so we had to park down the street and pay the meter to park till a spot opened up at the hotel to move our car

Staff were very friendly. Room was very large and comfortable

Location! Staff was friendly too.

Cleanliness of the bathroom (in particular the shower).

I liked that it was close to everything

Everything else I opened the bathroom door and there was a booger under the doorknob the walls and doors were filthy and the towels had stains as well as the sheets disgusting.

Well it was good for one night. Which is what my fiancé and I needed. It had a fridge and microwave. I wasn't expecting that.

The room was dirty. The sheets had stains in them. The coffee maker still had used coffee grounds in them. The tub in the bathroom had mold on it. We didnt have any toilet paper. And they have us two towels.

It wasn't clear on the site, so when we got there they wanted to charge us 10+ each person and said that they did that at other hotels which is so not true because we went to stay at another one the next night and they didn'T. Also made us pay $20 in cash and a had a list of rules we had to follow while staying there and if didn't obey wouldn't get it back. Also said with this one that other hotels did that but they dont. The manger was rude and didn't know good English. I will never stay there. Try the knights inn around the coner stayed there the next was great!

was filthy, toilets didnt work, did not replace towels, re hung dirty towels, allowed lots of young kids making noise all night-all around dump, wish i never booked rooms there, and i bought 2-made me leave 40.00 cash at desk, lousy service-never never again

Price, location. Close to beach, laundromat, grocery stores. Pretty quiet. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent WiFi, with the password on the key itself, which is clever.

Nothing really.

Staff was most helpful and responsive to requests. Tried to work around the defective coffee pots and gave us some coffee/cups to use with coffee pot. Catered to a customer's request for an extra blanket. Thanks to Jashu and Manisha for excellent service.

All appliances unplugged when we checked in (except microwave). Need to plug in appliances before each weekend to seem more welcoming. No coffee. I assume you will take care of the missing parts for the defective coffee pots. Listing missing in telephone YP directory.

Did not live up to the bad reviews. It wasnt the ritz but for the price was more than adequate. If you expect to be pampered buck up a few more bucks and go somewhere else. Not the best hosts but the room was clean,quiet with an absolutely great location. 2 blocks from the boardwalk, beach and downtown and only 55 bucks a night

The only thing I liked was location. The Boardwalk is right there, maybe a block or two away. Walking distance to downtown for food and local shops.

I was a little apprehensive with the reviews but I needed a place for me and my teenage children to crash after a concert. We had intentions of staying the weekend to hang out at the boardwalk the next day but decided....this place was crap. In fairness, it served its purpose to have a roof over our heads for the night and in walking distance to the concert and local shops and the boardwalk is literally right there. If my children were younger, I wouldn't have stayed there. The lady at the "front desk" was very VERY rude. She yelled at me because my reservation said 2 people and it was 3 of us. She charged me $10 extra for that. She made me pay a $20 smoking deposit, yet they're a non-smoking facility so I didnt quite understand that, even though it was refunded at checkout. When I told her I only wanted the one night she yelled at me again and told me I had to cancel through booking.com. She let out this huge burp and keep on about her business like nothing happened. Thank God we brought our own pillows and blankets. I would have had to be down on my luck to crawl under the covers. The light to the bathroom made the loudest buzzing noise and the faucet wouldn't turn to get hot water. Checking out, I looked under the bed to make sure that we hadnt dropped any of our things and there were Cheetos and other bits of food and a empty cigarette box...so on the surface...it looked clean but really, I question the sanitation. If you just need a place to stay in a pinch, don't mind cold water and a rude front desk, then by all means, knock yourself out...but bring your own blankets and pillows! If I ever go down to Santa Cruz again, I don't think I'll ever stay here again.

Great location. Quick walk to the beach in one direction and shops, restaurants and bars in the other. The young girl at the front desk was really friendly and helpful. The room was clean... stained, but clean, you know? My fiance and i are kinda into dive-y hotels so we'd definitely go back. For the price you can't beat it.

The towels felt like sandpaper and our TV was messed up. And just your normal dive-y hotel problems.

I like it bc they let us ckin early then the ck in time ! Wthout hvin to paid extra !! Which is really good for us bc we were so tire comin from Huntington beach ca to Santa Cruz six hrs drive .

I just like the location but the management is so poor, the Indian lady in front desk is so rude w/ the customers. They need to train their staff on how to interact with their customers in a nice way.

This motel is in the perfect spot, so close to the boardwalk and downtown. Plus it's really a cute, old motel.

This motel has seen better days. The room smelled heavily sanitized but by the next day I could detect a faint vomit smell. The owners are very curt, but their daughter is a nice, cutie.

Great room, spacious, nice decor, large comfy bed (King), great location, helpful staff.

The receptionist was the rudest lady fighting with her husband in some iranian language in front of us. She added additional fee that I had already paid to booking.com. The room was never cleaned. I would never ever recommend this hotel to a homeless man. It was aweful aweful aweful. Folks please don't stay here you will hate it!!
