The beds the music late at nite too noisy rooms shud be soundproofed if u want to play loud music all night Breakfast a joke shockingly bad
The rooms were great - clean, spacious and quiet out the back. Staff friendly and helpful.
I was originally in a twin single room but had no idea it would be at the end of a large dorm. Looks a lot lot better on the website page - but easily managed to upgrade to the double private which was a great room.
I arrived in Miami late at night and reaching the Bikini hostel was like finding a port in a storm. The staff couldn't have been more friendly! They were genuinely caring and sweet. (Especially the receptionists Rusty and Nicole) Even during the roughest moments of my stay in Florida, they created an atmosphere that made me feel safe and at home. The bar staff looked after me too! (They were a great bunch) The general vibe and atmosphere of the place attracted a pretty cool clientele during the course of my week...I was sad to say goodbye. On a general note, the rooms were well air conditioned, they had a safe room to store your luggage, there was free wifi And computers equipped with Skype that were free to use anytime 24 hours a day (Even to guests checking out which for me came in very handy...) even the beds were pretty comfy as long as you didn't mind making them yourself in the cheapest dorms.
Aside from an overzealous freezer that froze my glass bottles of coca cola solid. There was honestly nothing to I found to complain about during my stay!
I didn't like anything!! If like a dirty hostile enviroment this the perfect place for you!! If you like being chased by hostile staff and guest go right ahead!! If you want to have sex they won't listen if your roomate complains!!
Some of the staff and guest are violent. They do nothing if you complain about other guest having sex in the room The place is dirty and rusty. The bathroom has old rusty appliances that can never be clean. The couches in the rooms smell like mildew and feet.
lucky enough to get a 4 bed dorm with no one else in it room had tv fridge and lockers
fact that i was able to book single room and turn up and its not available-then offered 8 bed dorm, asked if four bed was available and it was.
Ease of access, easy to walk to or public transportation to.
The pool was above ground as was the hot tub.
Solo female traveller in Miami for 5 days. All the rooms were clean and spacious, with TV's, good showers, microwaves and fridges. Staff were friendly and smiling. Lovely atmosphere and always something to do. Made loads of friends and would 100% stay there again.
- you could walk to the beach - everything was central - club tours from hostel every night - reasonably priced
The location of the hostel is really good. Being located in South Beach you'll walk ten minutes to Ocean Drive/ the beach. During our trip we stayed in a double room wth a private bathroom and kitchen. The room was very clean and bright. There was also enough space to store all our luggage and the beds are comfortable. Staff was always very kind and helped us with every question we had. You'll also like to visit the beer garden and the bar to hang out and have a chat with the other hostel guests. All in all a nice place to stay during a trip to Miami/ Miami Beach. Would book it again!
Not bad location. AC.
When i booked the hotel it said separated room with bathroom . But when i arrived they said there was some misunderstanding (which actually seemed as thier daily practice)and the room is actually a small room inside the dorm and bathroom is shared with the dorm. The room is really tiny -i barely could fit my stuff in. The window doesnt have noise isolation and loud music and voices from bar can be heard all night. The price is too high for such place as no point to pay like twice more for practicly living the same dorm. Also they often didnt have coffee available for breakfast(free breakfast included),and just suggested to buy it
Location! Stuff are okay. Bar stuff fantastic.
Cleanness specially in the kitchen.
Good matress , tv in rooms , and fridge too...very nice people and very nice staff ... Especially Cindy she is very nice and helpy ... Very good jacuzzi and good breakfast
I enjoyed the location, staff and ambiance !
Great atomosphere to meet great ppl!
The staff sometimes weren't very helpful or took a long time to be of some assistance, air conditioning didn't work in a room for 12.
Was a great place to get friends all together in the same place with excellent value for money, we had about 30 in our party and the general atmosphere of the hostel made it easy to get to know other people there as well. The hostel is walking distance from the main Washington Avenue and Ocean Drive where there are many places to go out at night and also walking distance to the beach during the day. Would definitely recommend staying here if you come to Miami for an summer blow-out with friends
The staff was very rude yelling at me and they kick me out because I was in my friend room waiting wich I already pay my on room the house keeping when and say to then I was there for free big mistake this lady only speak Spanish and was hard yo make her understand any way they gave me my money back I got better hostel I never gonna go to bikini
if more then 4 people in the room, - difficult to relax and fall asleep.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was extremely helpful and the rooms were spacious and clean. By far one of the best hostels I've seen and I've been to a lot !
Great atmosphere Friendly staff Nice bar 10mn walk from the beach
Not enough private rooms
Disheveled pillows, and overgrown foliage — these are the trademarks of the cozy yet eclectic bohemian South Beach Spot. Less than a block from Wholefoods and a few great cafe, this place is on the hush hush. The clientele, is a bit more mature and eves spent around the beer garden are more about socializing than Dance club party. All in All a great option while on the beach. Tip: They have a few great apartments as well as private rooms inquire within
The staff was really nice and welcoming. Then the room and the bathroom were clean. The general atmosphere was good.
From times to times, the internet wasn't working very well in the bedroom. Another bad point is that you don't have a lot of space in the bed. So can't sit down.
Cleanliness Staff at the time of dawn are efficient
The wi-fi has not in the rooms. Employees of the business hours are not gentle.
Bikini Hostel had great staff that catered for my every need! A super friendly hostel and amazing atmosphere allowed for great social settings so we could mingle with other people! Upon arrival myself and the 3 others we where traveling with where shouted a free drink from the staff member at reception. It is in a perfect location and I would highly recommend staying there.
