David, who is the owner, manager, shuttle driver and public relations manager was absolutely marvelous in every one of his roles!
motel was under construction & a drunk guy came out of 1 the rooms & tried to buy a cigarete from me after digging thru the ash tray on side walk & started making comments about the tires in my truck n how much good used tires are worth. asked for money to be credited back to my card was told no so I whent to different motel
Construction odors in the room lingered. Restroom had mold and shower door did not close. I suspect that all of the rooms are being upgraded based on the construction materials in the hallway - good luck and make significant improvements before renting out the same room.
I didn't like anything about this hotel.... mold in shower holes in walls and old sheets and pillows.... cigarette burns on furniture. If I was you I would remove from your listing
The room makes you feel comfortable the moment you enter.
Towels were well worn Too high bed Couldn't adjust room temperature
Bed was comfortable once I was able to get into it I am short and had to use a chair in order to get into it
Location is not convenient. Lots of construction going on, hopefully to improve and update the hallways and access points from the parking lot into the building.
Staff was very positive
Owner charged more than the Booking.com guaranteed price. When I called to find out why we were being charged so much, he told us to contact booking.com and hung up each time we called. Our friend got charged for 10 night when he only requested 4 night and only stated 2 nights. Staff was very rude.
We were made to pay for the room even after we made it known that the pictures on line were not the same
Cleanliness lacking, Location lacking, Staff lacking, Not sure what hotel other reviewers stayed at but it wasn't this one.
Bathroom floor was filthy and vanity was in serious need of repair. Mismatched paint on bathroom walls. Curtains did not cover windows. Paint and plaster dust on carpet.
My son and I were returning from a family wedding in mn and had driven 800 miles; we were exhausted. I was disappointed to see the room had no tub, just a shower. The security lock on the door was broken. There were holes in the bathroom wall from screws. And the beds were broken down, my son's actually squeaked when he sat on the edge. About 10:30 pm when he went to the bathroom and then opened the shower door to take a look. Ants were crawling all over the bottom of the shower and up several inches on the sides. He immediately called the front desk. They offered to come and spray. We said we were too tired, let it go until after we had checked out. Then as we thought about it, we realized they knew all about the ants; and this was confirmed by the comments about ants in the summer discussed further in this review. These owners apparently had no qualms about spraying a shower with ant killer so some unsuspecting traveler could step in and turn on the water to mix with ant killer and be absorbed into his skin . . . if that your idea of a good hotel, then register and enjoy. Booking.com website appears to always say there is only one room left at its special price anyway. When we complained and asked for a discount on our room because we could not take a bath, the ants became our fault. Why didn't we tell them about the ants when we first checked into the room? The man and woman who owned the hotel appeared to be from India where animals are sacred. That may explain the comment of the man owner who said "ANTS are animals." I thought they were insects. The woman said we had probably trashed the room when we left. I said let's go check the room right now. They wouldn't do it. That's when the woman owner said, "We have ants in the summer, not the winter." Oh, really, then the zero degree weather must mean summer has arrived. On that unhappy note, we left.
Staff were very helpful.
The time of serving breakfast was short and late so we were not able to ever get any while at the motel. The price quoted by the booking agent was not the same as I was charged.
The price and the management were both good. The location to downtown was good, but it was hard to find a parking spot because of the construction.
The old shower head. Price quoted online was less than what we actually paid. We will not stay here again.
The new shower head which was replaced when the original was inoperable.
Pillows were like sleeping on rocks. They are in the middle of remodel and there was paint on the carpets and the counters in the bathroom were falling a part.
The staff was very friendly. The beds were comfortable. Everything was fairly clean. There was a nice fridge, microwave and tv. Staff was not to helpful if you had problems with the equipment.
The room was filthy dirty. Mold in and around shower. Debris on floor and under beds. Towel rack hanging loose from wall. Room had obviously not been cleaned. There was a strong odor of paint and stale cigarette smoke in room and hallway (non-smoking area). Hallway carpet was dirty.
Just don't stay there you get what you pay for
I liked leaving the place
Great prize! We just needed to spend the night. Comfortable beds, clean room.
This was the worst place I have ever stayed at. The staff was rude a d the rooms were discussing and uncomfortable. I woul never recommend it or ever stay there again. Who doesn't have staff there 24/7 in case you get locked of room c use those keya are worthless. This place was horrible
The parking lot is tiny. We had a truck with a trailer and had to park across the street. Our room could have been cleaner. There was one of those sticky pad mouse traps by our door. The shower was tiny and gross. The water pressure sucked. The toilet had stains in it. Our remote barely worked. What we paid was way too much.
The only good thing about our stay was the wifi.
WiFi security warnings
Quiet surroundings and breakfast
The headboard wasn't secure and banged on the wall every time we moved...The soda machine on our floor was empty...The shower door didn't latch and stay closed,,,
People were very friendly and made us feel welcome!
Little mildew in shower, noise of being downtown, the safety lock from the inside was non existent.
We needed a no frills place to sleep. We arrived very late and were off very early. It's very hard to justify tossing down more than a hundred dollars (at other places) for a comfortable, clean stay. The value for the money was awesome! The bed... Super comfy.
