We were right on the beach - had a view of the gulf from our room, beds were very comfortable, staff extremely nice and accommodating! Bathroom was very small, felt a little cramped, but we weren't in the room very much - so it wasn't a big deal!!

The beach was not crowded, water was nice & clear, sunsets were great! Hotel was updated and the room had a nice TV, linens & bathroom. The noise from the Ricky T's bar across the street can be heard in the room until 2am and it unacceptable. Any other place would be shut down for such loud noise so late and I have no idea why it has not been. The bed was not comfortable and the A/C in wall unit was very loud.

Good location Value for price...paid resort prices for a typical hotel room at a typical beach. Beds uncomfortable, no additional seating in the room and tiny balcony.

Excellent location on the beach. Two swimming pools which the kids loved and a hot tub. Room was a bit small but has a balcony. All staff members were friendly and polite. The room was small and the fridge was also very small for a faciliy described as a efficiency deluxe suite. Having said that, none of this was at all a surprize.

We stayed for four nights had a gulf view studio which was amazing. Bazzie in the hotel for breakfast with free breakfast for children. We didn't need the car for four days could walk everywhere. Lovely pathway for jogging on beach. When you got tired of beach it was lovely to have pool. Sloppy joes for a cool beer or margarita was great. Everything we wanted for a lovely few days didn't want to leave. The only downside was the service in bazzies restaurant service was slow and they mixed up an order so one of our breakfast didn't come in time. In saying that food was good if they could work On their staff one was a little unfriendly. They seem to have a don't care attitude. It's a busy spot but a little interaction and friendliness is always good. We had a voucher for the kids free brekkie and by two waitress were never asked for it one morning I forgot it and one made a point of asking for it and acted as if I didn't have one so the next morning i brought it down and luckily didn't have miss friendly and once again didn't need to show it. Come on guys don't make a big deal over two small free Breakfasts

All hotel staff was very friendly and nice! Everything was clean! The Bazzie's Bar had great breakfast outdoors, with unobstructed view of beach! Children ate free! 2 pools and very hot jacuzzi (love them to be hot). Sloppy Joe's as a 2nd onsite restaurant had great selection, taste, drinks, and view of ocean. Many eateries directly across street, as was Publix one block down - so don't really need car once there (but we had one). Had gulf view efficiency, was perfect. Nothing to stop someone from staying here...Only problem is door stop to bathroom, is in middle of floor directly in front of the closet/safe...so you stub you toes constantly (entire family did it). Also sliding door to balcony had ridge that stuck up so you banged your feet. Seems to be older sliding glass door design.

I was very impressed with the very attentive staff. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The location is gorgeous. The landscaping around the hotel is very pretty and well tended to. I will recommend this hotel to everyone. The only disappointment was our room didn't have a balcony.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is close to everything you could need for a beach getaway. There was not one minute in five days we were there that someone wasn't cleaning, painting or improving something.

Great location. Beautiful beach. Close to shopping including Supermarket within one block and a Walgreen's across the street. Staff was very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist and make our stay comfortable, enjoyable, and hassle free. Sloppy Joe's restaurant on the premises, as well as the second restaurant (name escapes me) had very good food and great service, especially Sloppy Joe's. Two nice swimming pools and spas, which did not seem overcrowded, even during Spring break. We would definitely stay at the Bilmar again. Treasure Island is a real treasure in Florida, next to John's Pass, lots of restaurants, ice-cream shops, shopping. Great area and a very nice hotel.

Loved its location on the beach, friendly staff, close proximity to places of interest, the on-site restaurant. Although a lot of money has been spent on the hotel, it could do with better quality bed linen and the lifts need updating. The views/sunset were amazing. As said before, better quality bed linen would be appreciated and the lifts were a bit rickety.

It was clean and comfortable. After looking at the outward appearance, I almost changed my mind. It's an old building painted an awful, gaudy, loud, bright dark yellow.Once I got inside, I was pleasantly surprised.

The service was nice. Had a hard time with parking, didn't like the fact that we had to park the car in a walgreen's parking lot. Spent alot of money and had to park the car across the street in a walgreen's parking lot!!!! Not Happy!!

The location right on the widest part of the beach. Shops and restaurants within walking distance. Clean, well designed rooms with fantastic views over the beach and sunsets. The rooms in the Palms building are directly above the pool and Sloppy Joes restaurant and bar. We were on the third floor (two floors above the pool) and there was a fair bit of noise from the pool during the day and from Sloppy Joes in the evening. To be fair the soundproofing betwen room was pretty good and noise was minimal after about 10 pm but if you need perfect quiet for a siesta or like to turn in early, these rooms are probably not for you. The Wi Fi in the Palms building was a bit sporadic during our five day stay
