This is a substantial property with every conceivable facility and an extensive array of restaurants and a fabulous pool area. We enjoyed the breakfast selection and felt it represented good value.
We found the hotel quite tired and in need of updating. Leaving aside the style of the property, it was inexcusable for our junior suite to have tatty and frayed oller blinds and also net curtain voiles with holes. We also suffered noise disturbance from the corridor outside our room some of which was from cleaning staff conversing. For someone who doesn't drink and has some food restrictions, we felt the Sunday champagne brunch at $80 per head was expensive.
Professional and super attentive staff and beautiful facility, particularly pool area
Noise levels in courtyard room early in the morning
New Years Eve in Miami everyting was so expensive, but this famous hotel looked not so expensive as usual room rate. So we booked and stayed and celebrate New Year with a style. fire works on its state.
a girl in reception who could not pronounce my name and said "what" instead. some one say the word "what" in this level of the hotel a bit of disappointment for us.
Fantastic architecture; elegant room. Very accommodating staff.
Great historic hotel with clean comfortable beds.
Some of the furniture is worn and could use some fresh paint in some areas.
Old style, enormous pool, lovely courtyard restaurant with very good food. Bedroom was comfortable with large, comfi bed. Excellent view from bedroom from room 712. Very good personel, liked Hector the porter and german girl at reception. Excellent location of hotel and the charm of thre building. A must when in Miami.
Area around the pool far too crowded, not enough space provided, quite uncomfortable when busy, a real shame for the size of the pool. Bathroom in room quite small and not up to standard of hotel. It took too long for luggage to come down to car. Lack of communication after we gave instructions to bring luggage down?
Pleasant stay, friendly and attentive staff, beautiful pool.
Smokers in every outdoor space, including the breakfast courtyard and round the pool. No outdoor non-smoking areas that I could detect.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is elegant and comfortable.
There was only one outlet for plugging in electronic devices. There was no way to get a reasonably priced coffee (complimentary coffee would have been appreciated). There was no hair dryer in the room. There was a 22 dollar surcharge for each room that included the WiFi, parking and Spa usage. It should have just been included into the price of the room. It was a hidden mandatory charge. At times I felt like I was in the way of the community members for the Spa. The cost of food at the restaurants was high and the hotel is somewhat isolated in a suburban neighborhood. I could not have easily walked out of the hotel to find reasonably priced food or drink. I had to drive to Starbuck's, Einstein's Bagels, etc....
Nice hotel, gigantic swiming pool, nice restaurants downstairs. The staff is really nice and friendly.
The interior decoration could be renovated, some parts look a bit old fashioned.
Despite charging 22$ per night resort fee. Green fees are not included. Rooms are a little tierd but not that bad. It's a big hotel in a nice area but it's not a 5 star by any means
The Biltmore has superb facilities and was great value. The location is sublime and just a short walk to the Venetian pools.
- EVERYTHING: - The service is FANTASTIC - The rooms are ROMANTIC - The pool is AMAZING - The food is EXCELLENT - The history of this hotel is UNIQUE - do take the time to find out about it!!!
HAVING TO LEAVE...
beautiful design and pool area great service and wonderful restaurant under the stars
hotel could use some updates, mattresses could be better/newer?! Plumbing can be heard and noises from other rooms .
Wonderful property restored to it's former glory! Attentive and nice staff. Excellent golf and amazing pool facilities!
Location & overall beauty.
Property needs to be updated. Furniture in room scuffed, hall carpets aging, doors need painting, etc.
Shower - curtains vs door enclosure was very poor. Curtain blew on to you as you showered. Conceirge and desk reception service on Friday night was bad. Said to call for pickup after dinner. No one at hotel answered phone and restaurant called hotel. Had to pay for cab service. Not happy
wonderful building with lots of history great pool staff was amazing very classy experience
not much to see in the direct neighborhood
The hotel is BEAUTIFUL!!!! And the pool is amazing!!!
There is always a lot going on...people coming and going to the gym, and a large convention.
Everything but cost of breakfast
Cost of breakfast
Great swimming pool; good Food And service at breakfast;
Unfriendly check-in; we had booked 2 queen beds for a Family of 4; this was not available And not resolved.
Location, staff, facilities, pool
A hotel of character and well worth a stay. Staff all helpful and friendly. The courtyard dining area was beautiful with great food at both dinner and breakfast. The swimming pool is huge and very pleasant, with attentive waiter service to keep you refreshed during your arduous day of relaxation - also relaxing tunes provided. No problem to stay all day after checking out.
They need to do something to avoid the sound system in the function suite from blotting out the pleasant music in the courtyard dining area - it was perhaps just a very loud wedding the night we stayed. Spoke to a waiter who apologised well but seemed embarrassed that he could not help - but it did get quieter after that. Did not spoil my stay - but could have marred it had it not got quieter.
