the blood on the sheets, the dirty chair, the ugly door, and the burn in the sheets. the beds also creeked like they were going to break.
Convenient to beach and boardwalk.
Young, loud teenagers
Location Fairly clean Air conditioning worked well Quiet when I was there despite motel being full.
Needs updating Parking was terrible had to park on street second night
The location. Walk right up the street and you have Gateway 26 & Sam's Pizza. You end up right in the middle of the best part of the Boardwalk. Been going there since 2003.
They merged with another hotel. SO you have to walk to there other property to do all your checking in & out. No property management on site!
the staff was excellent. The location was excellent
The receptionist very kind and friendly
Rooms not well equiped
Close to the beach. Room was very clean.
Beds were very uncomfortable.
That you can sit at your room and see the kids in the pool no matter what room you have. Air conditioners work well. I will always try and book my room there as now with Heart condition need something very close to Boardwalk.
Booked thru bookings.com and found that I paid more money than the person in the next room.i actually thought that I was going right onto BOP website but ended up on the other site. Parking has always been a problem, but if people would park the right way you wouldn't have that much trouble, but when you get people who don't know how to park then it becomes a problem. The one day the cleaning person did not take out the dirty towels, had to give the to another worker.
Leaving and knowing I learned a valuable lesson... Just don't stay there again. We were too embarrassed to invite anyone down!
The towels & face cloths were no where near white!!! They never replaced the soap... Nor the shampoo!!!! No phone, no oven, and the fridge was way too small!!!
The staff and location close to beach and boardwalk
The air conditioner didn't work and the outside light didn't work the pool was not heated parking was tight
Location Price Clean Less then a block from Boadwalk and Amusement Parks.
Not enough Parking for customers. Had to walk to a different Motel to get checked in to our Motel. Lady behind counter on check was rude to my wife.
This hotel was the worse place I ever stayed, when you get there to check in you have to walk to the end of the block to their other property to check in. There is Never anyone at the bird of paradise on duty to manage the property.they gave us our room it was room 9. We got in the room and noticed immediately that the floors were very dirty, upon further inspection we saw that the room it self was very dirty our sheets on the made up beds had make up and hair all over them, the one and only light was broken.we had to walk back down to the other property (no phones in the room to contact anyone) and got our room changed to room 12 this room was worse then the first one. The reason we would have wanted a phone in the room is because when we first got there we went to the pool and our cell phone fell in the pool.on to the second room,we went in the room and wow another dirty floor, the hot water faucet I the sink didn't work, the bathtub was badly clogged I took a shower and when I was done I was up to my shins in water. That last night of being there was a nightmare, kids from next door about 4 of them (small kids) were running, screening an slamming doors till 3:am we had to get up at 5:am for work.again if there was a phone in the room or someone on duty we could have addessed this issue and maybe got some sleep.leaving the next day we wanted to take a dip in the pool before work that wasn't happening do to the fact of broken beer bottles in the pool and all over the parking lot. When I got home and called the hotel to exspress my concerns the woman that answered said I'm so sorry,a made every excuse in the book for no compensation at all. We will never stay there again and we hope if you are reading this review that you won't either.
It had a bathroom.
Did not have an outdoor shower that could be easily found. We used the one next door. They kept outdoor lights on ALL night. (about 40 lights!!!) Windows did not have black out blinds or shades. One bed had plastic on it and rumbled every time my twins turned. who could sleep?
Staff was very nice, allowed early check-in....room was nice kitchenette....not a 5 star by any means but good for Wildwood and on short notice....parking is tight but its so close to the Boards once you park you don't have to move the car until you leave.... would stay there again
Staff were friendly
