Just about the only thing I liked is that the staff let me cancel my 2nd night reservation.
I should have listened to the reviews. This place was a nightmare. First off, yes it's a 1/4 a mile from the strip, however there's a freeway separating you from the strip, so its a good distance to walk to the strip from this hotel. The hotel is extremely dilapidated, just driving into the parking lot gives a bad impression. Then we get to the room. Where to start. We had a broken couch that was stained black pretty much everywhere, I didn't even touch it. Stains on the floor, dried blood on the wall, kitchen appliances from the early 80s, and a coffee table that literally took up half the living room. Oh and those flat screens, hope you like trying to watch TV on a 30 inch and a 22 inch In the living room. It was laughable. I am not a picky person but this place was horrible beyond belief. It ruined our whole trip experience. Please stay away, there's nicer hotels nearby that charge the same and don't put a $150 a night deposit on your card. If I could rate this place a -1 I would.
This place was within easy walking distance from the convention center. They also offered a small continental breakfast, which is helpful for business travel.
The hotel closed the pool for "The Winter" which is an amenity that I missed. I like to relax in a hot spa/Jacuzzi when I am traveling. I wish they would have mentioned that on the website.
Location, comfort and value.
A bit slow to react to a small issue. Took 2 days to get resolved.
room was available
access to room
Perfect location in walking distance for the LVCC and still not too far from the north part of the Strip. Freindly staff and well working internet.
No 24/7 service in the reception on working days. One day my keycard stopped working, i was lucky it was on Saturday where the reception was open, otherwise i had to sleep on the street. A strange early check in fee applies before 4 PM - the room was ready anyway, so just another extra charge for no reason!
Great Location & good wifi speed
Need to upgrade all settings
Being able to walk to the convention center eliminates the need for waiting for taxis... The location is great for that.
Sigh. Want to love this place, but had to call front desk for hangers in the closet, and a hair dryer (which turned out to be the kind that hangs on a wall, but wasn't installed on the wall... awkward to use, of course)... Rather than receiving a message, we had to ask at desk for mail sent in our names. The room is allotted 1 container each of Decaf and Regular coffee... no more!... and getting 2 regular instead of a pair of decaf/regular required extended negotiation... Then the coffee machines in the breakfast room weren't marked Decaf/Regular until we asked which was which...Music going all day into the night around the pool area, so you hear it in the rooms around the pool. Fortunately, it wasn't head-banging music, but why have it on at all?
The price for the location is pretty good
The owner yelling at a front desk manager right in front of me. The wireless network was unusable in the room I was in. Often I could not connect to the wireless at all and when I could it was only 1-2 bars of strength. The room was not terrible but I think with better management and more attention to detail this location could be vastly improved.
Location is great for me. Very friendly staff, including bar.
Bathroom needs modernization. Would like to have used the pool, and a hot tub? Maybe more at breakfast. Would have like lobby coffee at least before 7am, would have liked a USA paper.
Dirty outdated rooms, especially carpets
There were walls and roof, a door, windows, and I didn't get killed in my sleep. For those attending events at the convention center, it's a short walk away but otherwise there isn't much nearby.
The regular room rate for this place starts at $55 but I had to pay over three hundred dollars for a single night during the ces trade show. Totally blatant money grab. Room was disgusting. Hair everywhere, shampoo bottle appeared to have been used, and - worst of all - there was a giant BLOOD STAIN in the bathroom on the door. The room was also very noisy with seemingly no insulation from the very busy Desert Inn Rd on which the hotel is located and the blinds do a poor job of blocking out the walkway lights (which are very bright). Make sure to bring eyeshades and earplugs if you're a light sleeper - along with your own sheets, a can of Lysol, bleach, and a gun.
Great bed linens, concienient parking
Noisy traffic, grubby real dirty sofa, beat up veru oldfurniture, tiny bathroom, tv wires hanging everywhere.
Lots of space. Loved having place for clothes and separate space for living from sleeping. Free laundry was great.
There were extra fees not explained when room was booked. When booked a incentive for buy one drink get one drink free, but bar was closed on the days we were there. This was not explained either.
Poor customer service everywhere in this hotel. The front desc manager was angry land disrespectful, the bartender in the cafe was overcharging constantly, no one ever asked us if we need anything .... Don't recomend this place at all.
We waited an hour and a half for our room to be ready.
Registration was very timely and have to wait for more than 45 mins to get check in
No security for the rooms so gates are open to everyone. Staff not able to help you at all. Staff member was asked for an extra blanket, never provided. Room service was half of usual. Walk ways were full of garbage, walkways trash always full. No sound insulation od windows. Cold room since one room had heater.....
It's close enough to downtown Vegas, but quick enough to the strip. I love the 2 TVs: one in the bedroom, one in the living room. So, while he's watching football, I'm watching everything else.
Everything with the motel, except the heater.
Its was kind of cold in the room., Had problems with the heater, not function right.
water heater was not turn on on the first night, and it was too cold to shower. CALLED front desk and they asked me to wait till next day for heater to be enable! Overall terrible experience, price is expensive too ! Is the worst hotel I ever stay.
I like the pricing of the rooms, very affordable even during holidays and special events. Would definitely stay here again and suggest this place to my friends and family.
The bedroom was to small to fit 2 beds in but yet it was still kind of comfortable, that would be my only downfall of the room; if you can even really call that a downfall.
i've paid for bottle of water, but never ask i've paid extra for a trailor, this room is 2 king size bed 4 personnes and the hotel was empty. i've paid for facilities , why ??????? never used...
